Just returned from a first time trip to Peru! What an amazing country! From exquisite fine-dining and luxurious accommodations to the stunning beauty found in nature on breathtaking hikes, this destination has it all! The people are very welcoming and kind. The tour company Kuoda is what made our trip incredible!!! They helped right away at the airports with concierge service picking us up and helping us check into all connecting flights and hotels, thanks to Lillian. All of our drivers and guides were top notch. The personalized itinerary was absolutely perfect for us and they were so accommodating along the trip to make adjustments whenever needed. The whole team (especially Mery and Edgar) had excellent communication with us throughout our trip so we always felt safe, comfortable and well taken care of. And our hiking guide Santiago was hands down AWESOME!!! He and Edgar our driver made every stop memorable, he took us to heights we had never been to, took amazing pictures of us and made sure every detail was taken care of! And he was so much fun to be with! He also got to know what our interests are and really tailored the tour to us personally.

This was our first time booking with an agency and we are so glad we did, since they helped us in navigating the different environments in Peru: ranging from transportation, accomodation options, and meal options. We did Macchu Pichu, Cusco, Ollayntaytambo, and Amazon in 11 days. Also, it was great to have that Whatsapp group :) They were always punctual and coordinated all the details, which enabled us to focus on enjoying Peru and all it has to offer.

I can not emphasize enough how amazing Kuoda travel was to work with. They organized a great trip for us to Ecuador. While in Ecuador, there was political unrest and our original trip to the Galapagos (booked through a different vendor) was cancelled 2 days prior to departure. Kuoda was able to find us a different trip which was a better fit for us. I highly recommend this company.

My trip with Kuoda Travel to Peru in 2011 was absolutely amazing. Every detail was given careful attention, including help navigating the airports. We had magnificent drivers as well as very knowledgeable guides throughout the tour. Our accommodations were all top-notch. We visited Lima, the Sacred Valley, Lake Titicaca and of course, Machu Picchu. It was truly a trip of a lifetime and made even more magical because of the lack of travel concerns. We also felt that the prices were extremely reasonable!
My husband and I are now booking another trip with Kuoda Travel to Chile and Argentina knowing that it will be another incredible experience. We cannot wait to create more wonderful memories.

My parents are not seasoned travelers, so when a family trip to Peru was suggested, they were sceptical. The Kuoda family made them feel welcome and put their hesitation to rest. Our guide, Pilar was not only knowledgeable of her country, but allowed my parents freedom to enjoy their own family in unfamiliar surrondings.
Mery and her team put together a program that included lunches in private homes; that of an artist and his wife that felt like we were being welcomed into their kitchen not as tourists, but cherished family members.
Kuoda thoughtfully selected lodgings that were not only unique ( a secret passage in San Blas to our beautiful apt.), but perfect for family gatherings.
The highlight of was of course, the visit to Machu Picchu that my parents navigated perfectly.

My husband and I traveled to beautiful Peru with Kuoda in 2011. Victoria helped us with planning and tours and she did a great job including everything we wanted to do in the time we had there. The hotels were excellent, Maria Teresa our tour guide was phenomenal, our driver Andre was very talented in driving us around and navigating the narrow streets. Kuoda Travel was exceptionally responsive in setting up our trip to the upper Amazon Basin followed by 4-day private tour of Machu Picchu. The quality of both excursions was phenomenal, with Kuoda handling all our accommodations and transfers. All we had to do was fly into Lima and they took care of everything else without any worry on our part. They were prompt in notifying us about a looming train strike in Machu Picchu and immediately made changes to our itinerary without skipping a beat. Traveling with Kuoda in Peru provided us excellent value. Finally, their staff was a pleasure to work with in setting up our itinerary while explaining our options. I highly recommend their services.

Our trip to Peru and down the Amazon was amazing. The service we received was excellent and professional. The guides were terrific, and the ease of planning an itinerary that worked perfectly for our interests made this trip marvelous. My partner and I toured Peru with Kuoda a couple months ago and would highly recommend using them. They were very easy to work with when planning the trip even though we only booked it about 6 weeks out. All of the guides we had were so knowledgeable and friendly. We've been on small group tours before but this was our first time booking a fully private tour and it was worth every penny. Having a private guide and driver for the trip really helped ease any travel anxiety we typically have. Our guide even helped escort us through the airports as far as they could. Mery and her team would text us often to check in as well, but everything went so smoothly. And I felt so spoiled not having to deal with planning, logistics or waiting for a pack of strangers to meet for an excursion. We were truly impressed with the experiences and the meals that were included in our tour. I believe we would have missed out on a lot of these had we done the trip on our own or gone through some of the other companies I looked into. The food was a big highlight for us. The lunches they booked in Cusco for us were some of our favorite parts of the trip.We will use Kuoda again for any future South America trips.

My family of 4 used Kuoda Travel to salvage a previously booked trip that went sideways. Kuoda did a phenomenal job of organizing a 16 day trip with the departure occurring less than 6 weeks away. We visited the Amazon, Cusco Valley, Machu Picchu and Lake Titicaca. The entire itinerary, accommodations, planned meals & activities and guides exceeded our expectations. It was an exceptional trip! I planned a trek to Choquequirao pre covid, with all arrangements in place as planned by Mery C. and her staff, particularly Molly K (Molly 'you're the best!). After an 18 mos wait, I was able to travel to Peru for my trip. I cannot say enough about the meticulous planning, which was a collaborative endeavor. Transitions from my pick up at the airport to my various stays was seamless. I always strive for an immersive travel experience, and Kuoda delivered 110%. From my overnight in Lima, to my acclimatizing 2 day stay in Cusco (thank you Joaquin) through the 5 day trek into the beautiful Andes with my guide Edwin, Juvenal, the chef and Oto, the horseman (here again, all arranged by Kuoda). In addition to my trek I planned an immersive art & culture experience, and I was able to meet many local artists and musicians in the Sacred Valley. An experience of a life-time. I have travelled Australia, New Zealand, China, Fiji, Bhutan and Europe, by far Kuoda was the best. You will not be disappointed.
