Dr. Leslie E. Diaz, MD

I have been a patient of Dr. Diaz for nearly six years. The doctor is the premiere infectious disease doctor in South Florida. Not only is Dr. Diaz a brilliant physician, she is an empathetic listener and a person with whom I have grown a strong bond with. The office staff go above and beyond to care for all patients. I cannot imagine having another provider. If you have a negative view of Dr. Diaz and her staff you simply don’t get it. Dr. Diaz is the best of the best.

Dr. Leslie Diaz and her entire staff were awesome. I have no idea where the other reviews on this site came from..... but they are so far out in left field and wrong. Dr. Diaz and her staff, particularly Gina her head nurse and office manager, treated us with the utmost respect and compassion. We got an appointment with Dr. Diaz the very day the Wound Care Center in Jupiter got the culture results for the infection on my husband's leg. We started treatment that very day and he was treated everyday for 3 weeks. The Nurse Practitioners and other nurses and office staff were great!! This is the place you want to go if you have a viral or bacterial infection. Dr. Diaz will have your back!!

January 2020 I tripped and fell at my son's house visiting my new grandbaby. I ended up breaking my already broken hip. Obviously by ambulance I went to Jupiter medical center. After my first surgery I developed a terrible infection within about a week. Every single nurse that worked on the orthopedic floor where I was was absolutely wonderful it seems weird but I enjoyed seeing them every time I had to go back which was eight surgeries later. Dr Leslie Diaz was my infectious disease doctor I don't think I've ever met a more compassionate and caring doctor. She made me feel like she had time just for me when I know how busy she is with covid and everything else. Anyway it's over a year later and I'm still infected I'm so looking forward to my appointment with her today because of everyone she has given me the most hope. She came in my room daily each time to talk to me. I called her office and she was not on my insurance yet she still gave me the care that a doctor who truly cares did. I switched insurance companies so now after almost being hopeless I get to talk to her again. I just want to say that she is an excellent person not only just an excellent doctor but a very compassionate person and I believe if anyone can help me get rid of this infection Dr Leslie Diaz will be the one.

I came to Dr. Diaz office in extreme distress with MRSA. I found her to be kind, compassionate and thorough. They overlooked my bad attitude because they understood i was sick. yes the wait is sometimes long but she is worth it. Dr. Diaz is very thorough. She went to bat for me to find meds I could tolerate and the insurance would pay for. She is well thought of and respected in her industry and was a referral from my ENT. I hope to not have to see an ID again but she would be my first choice.

I have been going to dr. Diaz for close to 20 years. She has saved my life a couple of times. She is the finest infectious disease doctor in south Florida. Because of her expertise she is very, very busy. The idea that she does it only for the money is ludicrous. She joined found care which is designed to give quality health care to the whole community. If you go to her office you can expect a wait. She spends the time with her patients that she needs to, and has to deal with all the "right away emergency calls". Some of the reviews here are bizarre; including the woman who keeps referring to dr. Diaz as "he". Keep in mind that dr. Diaz pulls no punches and will tell you the truth, some people don't like doctors that do that. Don't expect to be coddled. If that's the type of doctor you're looking for - go somewhere else.

Dr. Diaz is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional; she is absolutely the most caring and compassionate doctor I have ever encountered, in over 50 years of taking myself and family members to physicians of all kinds. Yes, you may have to wait longer than you would like at times but you will be in good hands and well cared for.

Dr. Diaz is a true Hero. Not only was she our go to top notch Infectious Disease Specialist prior to Covid, she has been working overtime at our local hospitals since the start of this pandemic. Our office trusts Dr. Diaz explicitly

I was referred to Dr. Diaz at 10am and she called me by 11am. She was able to see me at 1 that afternoon, and after examing me, then reviewing my records I was in treatment by 2:30! I was treated with the the utmost compassion by the entire staff from the moment I walked into her office. I just knew I was at the right place for my well being.

Dr. Diaz and her staff are excellent to deal with, they are extremely good at what they do. I have been going to Diaz for over 10 years now. Dr Diaz has giving me a better life, and her staff is always courteous and quick to help me!

Best Doctor Ever. Due to changes in Insurance Doctors face tremendous challenges. This Dr. save my life and has saved many lives and is extremely compassionate. Disregard the postings of impatient people Dr Diaz is the BEST!!

Dr. Diaz saved my husbands life and leg. She diagnosed that he needed surgery immediately to prevent the necrotising fasciitis from spreading.She was compassionate and professional the entire time and through rehab.

Bring a book to read on your appointment because you might have a long wait. But it is well worth it. Dr. Diaz and her staff are top notch. I would highly recommend them.
