Bear Island Big Cypress national preserve

Bear Island is one of my favorite primitive campsites within the Big Cypress National Reservation.
The non-paved roads and wild nature is something apart, just to get there, you will completely disconnect from everything.
Keep in mind that this is s primitive campground, no water or electric, but if you plan well, great place for a fun weekend.
You are in the wild, make sure that you watch your back.

Love this place very quiet a lot of gators . Planning to come back . Is a dry hike.

Well Gate was close and I saw 2 big gators right after hurricane Ian
