This place is living history, the craftsmanship in this home is impeccable and the owners (June and Greg) are wonderful folks who have done a great job of preserving the home’s history. A very easy walk to downtown Appalachicola and the waterfront. Plenty of shops and restaurants makes for a very nice weekend. Staying here was a great choice!

Very quaint place. Lots of history. The owners are vey accommodating to the guest. Great location to downtown shopping and dining. Alll within walking distance of the inn. I highly recommend if your in the area stay and need a nice quiet getaway stop on in.

My Husband and I had a wonderful anniversary weekend staying at the Majestic Jewel. We have been coming to Apalachicola for many years and were more than impressed with the accommodations. The Ebony Rouge Suite was more than comfortable and offered a great space to relax and just lay low. Greg and June were fantastic hosts! I'm sure we will be back in the very near future.

The name fits the place! This charming and cozy home was well worth the stay! June and Greg were so friendly and helpful! The Inn was very clean and historic. The light background music helped set the ambiance and transport us back in time. I highly recommend staying here on your next adventure in Apalachicola!

We had the front room that faces the road and was the first room from the front door. We were impressed with how quiet the room was. Innkeepers June and Greg are kind and helpful.

LOVED THIS PLACE! June and Greg were amazing hosts, who made our long awaited visit to Apalachicola absolutely perfect. The Majestic Jewel is well equipped for anything, from light snacks, guest refrigerators, to laundry. The shared spaces are clean and comfy. You have to come experience this “jewel” of a find in
this super quaint town. Thank you for making it so special for us.

Booked the Autumn Moon room for our 25th Anniversary. Absolutely the best stay in Apalachicola. Greg and June were phenomenal hosts. We loved the history of the place and the rooms were amazing and very comfortable. Best sleep ever! Lots of shopping and great restaurants in the area.

Great place to stay! The room was clean and comfortable. The host are friendly and unintrusive. Within walking distance to downtown waterfront, shops and restaurants.

Impeccably clean, luxuriously and authentically decorated, and such accommodating hosts! The only place I’d consider staying while in Apalachicola area! This place has amazing history and our stay was so enjoyable. We stayed a week in the Liberty Studio and it was well stocked and had plenty of room. So nice to have coffee and breakfast items each morning. We loved using the large verandas for working and for cocktails. Highly recommend! thank you, Greg and June for being so accommodating and a joy! Can’t wait to be back!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Majestic Jewel. Our room, Autumn Moon, was perfect. The whole house is beautiful with so many special touches and attention to detail. Your every need was thought of and accommodated. So nice to meet June and Greg, we hope to return again.

My husband and I spent the weekend before Valentine's day at the Majestic Jewel in Apalachicola. We were welcomed in by the host and found our room very quaint! I would definitely recommend it due to being walking distance from the downtown and very nice hospitality and recommendations in the area the host gave us.

We actually booked through Airbnb, but you can book directly with them. We stayed in the Ebony Rouge room and the place was beautiful. This is a restored historical home and has the character that comes with it. The furnishings and decorations are luxurious and I felt spoiled staying here. Our suite had a large, stand-alone tub with a an attached handheld shower head. Shampoo, bath gel, and bath salts provided. The bedroom also has a unique and beautiful, roomy shower compartment with a rain shower head. Both ways to bathe felt luxurious. One of us could soak and use restroom while the other could shower. Coffee was provided either regular brewed or k-cup methods with a variety of sweeteners and creams. They also provided bananas, oatmeal, granola bars, water, soda, and the like. We drank coffee and ate several meals on the wraparound porch. The porch is shared, but has multiple areas set up so you can enjoy without be in someone else’s space. We walked to shopping and restaurants a couple times a day because this is located close to the central area of shopping. We were very pleased with our stay.

Majestic Jewel is the place that you don’t want to leave.
Gorgeous building with beautifully decorated rooms, great location, excellent customer service. It feels like you’ve got lost in time and woke up in an old era luxury living. We definitely are going to be back again and again.

Our stay at the Majestic Jewel was absolutely wonderful and is such a great addition to Apalachicola! June and Greg were extremely helpful and hospitable and made our experience even better than expected! We stayed in the Autumn Moon suite and it was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. I have a hard time sleeping while traveling, but had no trouble at all here due to the comfortable bed and atmosphere!
The hospitality area was very convenient and accessible and was well stocked with snacks and drinks at all times.
We are already discussing when we can come back to stay!

The name truly says it all. This was our second stay at the Majestic Jewel. Located in the heart of this charming town. You can't help but relax and enjoy all the amenities that come with this beautiful property. The owners are just as fabulous as the house. We stayed in the Vintage Rose, it was beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was equally amazing. The large soaking tub with special touch of providing epsom salt made it my favorite spot. Walking distance to everything in town. Highly recommend. If you are looking for a small piece of heaven on earth.... The Majestic Jewel 💎

Do you recall the last time someone you know invited you to their home and left the door open for you while they were away? Those folks were the type who not only trusted you but wanted you to stay in their home. That's the feeling we received when we stayed at the Majestic Jewel.

The owners (Greg and June) were away for the weekend when we arrived and yet everything was waiting for us. Our room, the Autumn Moon, was too comfortable to leave. The level of hospitality was as if every possible need was considered and supplied without us asking for anything.

We met some very interesting people during our stay and enjoyed all that "Apalach" is known for - minus the oysters. We've been told they'll be available in a few years but this limitation should not dissuade you from experiencing all this town has to offer, especially the Majestic Jewel.

If you've ever shared the key to your home with someone then you how excited you were to welcome your special guest/s. That's the feeling you can experience at the Majestic Jewel if you make the time to go.

Fabulous place! We stayed in Green With Envy for several visits and have to keep going back! What a quaint old style town with lots of things to do! I'm a fan of the oysters and just can't get enough. Our stays here are always comfortable and June and Greg make you feel like royalty! The bed is very comfortable and each room has a ceiling fan which is a must for my wife! We enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop/widow's walk with a glass of champagne. We've already planned out next stay in September!+

This Free Style classic two-story house was built in 1908 and has been converted into a hotel with 7 rooms all with private bathrooms. The first floor is decorated with early 1900's style furniture while the second floor is decorated in Florida garden beach style. We met June, one the owners who is just delightful and makes you feel as this is your own home. The property is well located on Avenue E and walking distance from downtown Apalachicola. Each room has a different theme and varies in size. We want to go back and stay and experience a different room. I would highly recommend staying here!
