Very happy with Laura Scott and her team at S&W Kitchen. Laura walked us through the whole process, and really made the renovation project easy. Once the permits and materials were in place the whole job took about a month to complete. The actual construction was painless, the workers were very respectful and minimized the noise which is great since I work from home. The results speak for themselves, the new kitchen really brightens up the house and the colors make the space feel larger. It really does feel like something you would see in Home and Gardens.
Highly recommend S&W Kitchen for a remodel job, and I will be using them again in the future to do our bathrooms.

15 December 2022
After doing such a nice job with our kitchen in 2019, we decided it was time to enlist S&W to update our bathrooms that were sorely in need of change-out after 36 years. Once again Laura Scott took the project helm and guided us through the design process of color, cabinet, tile, fixture, and accessories selection. She is so easy to work with. Her knowledge of fixtures from years in the business was invaluable and she has a wonderful sense of color. She also brings a good eye for detail, both in her planning and execution of the work. Laura's suggestions were creative and within our set budget. The project stayed on schedule and communication was very open during each step.
The S&W work team is so courteous and pleasant to have around. Their work quality is very, very good. They are careful how they work and try to minimize the inevitable dust and debris that accompanies a remodeling project. They were also good about cleaning up after themselves. I was amazed that they were able to wrangle the old tub out and the new tub in through a somewhat challenging corner without ever hitting the walls. However, near the end of the project we discovered a ding in the tub interior where a piece of tile must have fallen into the tub. They arranged to have the ding repaired and didn't just settle for anyone, but chose a top rate company. We are pleased with how the repair came out as it is effectively invisible.
I am very happy with the new bathrooms. The fact that we had them come back for not just one but two bathroom remodels, speaks to their work quality. I recommend to others to choose S&W Kitchens to do their remodeling.

I remodeled my master bathroom. The entire staff was knowledgeable, professional, and punctual. Designer Laura Scott and contractor supervisor Steve Preisendanz were exceptional. The subcontractors were on time and skilled in their expertise. They handled all aspects of the project from start to finish. Highly recommend this company for kitchen or bathroom remodel.

S&W updated our kitchen, guest bathroom, and totally gutted/remodeled our master bathroom. The designer was great to work with and shared ideas that we had not considered. The site supervisor kept us informed on all aspects of the job. His attention to detail was outstanding and he went over and above to ensure the job exceeded all expectations. Everyone working on the project was great and extremely friendly. We love the final product and definitely recommend S&W Kitchens.

My wife and I had our kitchen remodeled by S&W Kitchens during 2023. It’s been completed now for a couple of weeks and I love my new kitchen. It’s quality. The designer helped us pick out what we wanted/needed. They are detailed oriented which is a big plus. Details matter. The construction team did a great job at doing the work. I wasn’t sure how/if some things could be done. But, they were able to do everything needed and it was done professionally. As with any construction project, things may happen that you didn’t anticipate. We had a couple. The construction supervisor was able to react and get the job done. A remodel takes time, so be patient. They don’t start tearing down your kitchen until they have the cabinets and other hardware delivered to try to minimize your time without your kitchen. The cost was a little more than we anticipated. But, I believe it was worth it when I saw the quality work done and the quality cabinets and other hardware. They give a year warranty as well. So, ultimately, I believe it was worth the time and money to get the kitchen of my dreams. It looks great and is awesome to cook in.

I cannot say enough good, the renovations exceeded our wildest expectations. Deanna and Steve as well as the rest of the team were outstanding. Extremely professional, very responsive and flexible to our requests. The quality of all the products were all top notch. They kept us informed, never left us hanging. They genuinely cared and guided us every step of the way. I would highly recommend S&W Kitchens for any house renovation you may need.

S&W Kitchens (Melbourne, FL office in particular) is a great company to work with, and Laura Scott is a wonderful designer.

I hired them to remodel our 35 year old kitchen and had no clue where to begin. Laura walked us through the planning process with great patience and ease (and cheerful demeanor) beginning with an assessment of what we currently had and what we were hoping to accomplish in the finished design. With that understanding of our needs she worked up several proposed configurations and presented them to us as 3D and 2D presentations. Then she guided us through the material selection process for color, style, and mechanical configuration. Once we were satisfied with all that, she worked up a final plan including a detailed List of Materials and work plan.

During that process we also met with Dale (construction lead). Together they laid out a timeline for the construction giving us a time window of best case and worst case duration. For the most part, they hit the timeline as promised and finished within the original prediction window.

The work crews were polite and friendly. We felt very comfortable having them around the house (no security concerns.) They answered any questions we had while they worked and during the job progress. They worked carefully and kept the house as clean as possible by removing construction debris each day and hauling it away (no dumpster in the driveway!). Floors were protected with heavy-duty cardboard mats that were taped in place to prevent damage. Our hardwood floors came through the process without damage. We used plastic drop-cloths over everything each day to shield from dust. (It's inevitable that dust gets everywhere. Buy a stock of A/C filters and plan on changing them out every day or at least every other day during demolition and early phases of the construction, especially if drywall work is going on.) They can also place plastic sheeting to close off rooms as much as possible but the circulating air carries a lot of dust around the house nonetheless.

Measurements were taken of our kitchen on at least two occasions ('measure twice, cut once' theory) so as to be sure they were correct. However, we still ended up ordering a special cabinet in one position as the one cabinet was too wide for the location because they ordered the wrong size.

The quartz countertop fits perfectly. Alignment and seam work are exceptional. I couldn't find the seam until my wife pointed it out to me. The quality of the back-splash tile work is also exceptional. The installer meticulously hand fit pieces around the difficult areas. After the cabinets were installed, Laura inspected them and ordered replacement bits for anything that was scratched or dinged or had questionable surface finish. They cabinet installers adjusted all the drawer slides and cabinet hinges for proper operation.

They had first indicated that they would stage all the materials in their warehouse and then bring them over, then we discussed storing them in the garage, but we were concerned about humidity issues and bugs, but in the end the materials were all staged in our family room. (We moved everything into the other rooms to make room for the materials. It had two benefits: first, it was adjacent to the kitchen so it made work efficient and easy; secondly, all materials were under A/C and so all dimensions stabilized in the wooden parts prior to installation. It was inconvenient for us because of the crowding but it was probably the best solution in the end.)

It is inevitable that remodeling is inconvenient. However, S&W Kitchens did their best to make everything flow smoothly. We are very pleased with the finished result and I easily recommend S&W Kitchens and Laura Scott for anyone seeking to remodel their kitchen.

S&W Kitchens, Melbourne, proved to be a “first-class” company to address renovation of my master bath which was damaged following a lightning strike at my home. Due to this peril, the bathroom had been completely gutted (ceiling, drywall, cabinets). The challenge was to salvage and re-install as much of the original custom cabinetry, fixtures etc. using my own contractors (plumbers, electricians, cabinet installer etc.) and then replace my countertops and vanity sinks for an updated look and style.

From the moment I entered the S&W state-of-the art showroom, I was impressed with the array of choices and quality of products. More importantly, I discovered that designer Laura Scott is worth her weight in gold! Laura carefully listened to my needs and guided me every step of the way. After her visit to my home, we selected Kohler sinks and the perfect Pompeii Quartz (Valley Sand) with copper veining to complement my existing maple cabinets and white plantation shutters. As an added bonus, due to her prior background in working at a plumbing supply showroom, Laura also advised me of drain assembly parts needed for my existing Kohler faucets and provided other helpful-hints for the re-build. She was able to schedule countertop installation within a short timeframe (far more quickly than other Melbourne fabricators). Throughout this project Laura communicated frequently with me and was professional, pleasant and caring. I am delighted with the results and would not hesitate to engage S&W Kitchens and Laura Scott for my future project needs.

Phenomenal company to work with! We used them to do a full master bathroom remodel along with tiling in the master bedroom. Every person that we worked with was professional, responsive, and all did excellent work. We couldn't be happier with the end result, and will definitely use S&W next time we have a project.

The project consisted of a full remodeling of two bathrooms and a smaller effort to place new lighting in our kitchen.

The project went super smooth and the results met our expectations, exactly. The S & W team put together a well thought out project plan, reviewed it with us in detail, including drawings, accessories, the timeline, and costs. There were no surprises except that it went as planned! The contractors who worked on the project were truly professional. The job site was kept clean and neat, the workers were personable and polite, the project manager was very diligent. Outstanding effort by all involved.

We are glad the we used S and W to do our kitchen and flooring remodel! We reached out to them after a friend had used them for two separate remodels. They had worked with Laura Scott for both projects, and we were fortunate to find Laura actually at the Wickham Road showroom when we dropped by.

For this project we provided a general wish list of changes, and provided some photos of our existing space. Before charging us anything, Laura and the construction estimator Robert Husband came out to photograph and measure our space. From that information, she developed a preliminary design for us. She cheerfully made changes that we requested, and met with us several times to assist in picking out cabinet styles and colors, flooring, hardware, countertops, backsplashes, etc. When we asked for suggestions, we got them, and when we stated our selections, they were welcomed.

Once the construction started, we only had the dumpster in our driveway for a few days. This was a significant redo, with everything in the kitchen, and the tile flooring, being replaced. S and W uses a lot of subcontractors, including some from the Orlando area, and the project was run by a single construction manager, Stephan Preisendanz. All of the subcontractors and S and W employees did good work, and were respectful while working in our home. There were few issues that came up during the construction, but all were resolved quickly and amiably.

Be advised that a project like this takes a significant amount of time. The design phase took about 4 months, and it was just under 5 months from signed contract to project start. The kitchen was functional at the 3 ½ month mark, and punch list items completed at just over 4 months after start.

We recently remodeled our primary bathroom using S&W Kitchens.
We worked with Lindsey Schwartz who made this process so easy and stress free for us.
Lindsey was so helpful with every step of our remodel.
Her communication was always thoughtful and thorough and we enjoyed working with her so much.
Our bathroom looks beautiful and we are very happy with the results.
Thank-you Lindsey and all the S&W team members who worked on our project.

Laura Scott was my designer and she helped me make beautiful choices - I love the end result! Everything looks "magazine gorgeous", and more importantly, my kitchen is so functional! This was a major renovation project in a condo apartment which included a complete gutting and redesign of my kitchen and guest bathroom. I also had new flooring installed, not only in the kitchen and guest bath, but also in two bedrooms and the hallway and laundry room. Laura was there for the whole overwhelming process. All the S&W folks and their contractors did a great job, attending to every detail and making sure I was completely satisfied.

S&W Kitchens does fantastic work—from the design all the way to the punch list. They were perfectionists with our home. Our designer, Laura, listened carefully to our needs and came up with a beautiful design. She gave us just enough choices that we felt like it was our personal design without being overwhelmed by selections. We remodeled our kitchen, master bath and guest bath, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. We feel like we have a custom home. We fell in love with our construction crew—Kevin, Steven, Scott and Brian and along with top notch subcontractors. They were meticulous about their work and took care of every tiny detail. They were professional and friendly too. We felt very comfortable having them in our home—whether we were at home or away. We have recommended S&W to family and friends.

We have had our kitchen, master bath and laundry room totally redone by S&W Kitchens. They are a bit more expensive than other remodel stores, but, as the saying goes..."You get what you pay for." This is very true of S&W Kitchens. Lee Reeves (Kitchen) and Lindsey Schwartz (Master Bath and Laundry Room) were the designers. They were very professional throughout the entire process. They helped with the designs, interjecting their design expertise to help us get the most beautiful, modern and up to date kitchen and master bath. Our Master Bath is something out of a magazine - almost spa-like. S&W Kitchens is all inclusive, meaning that they use their own contractors, supervisors, painters, electricians, plumbers, tilers, etc. We never had to worry if the contractor and workers were going to show up. At the end of each day, they cleaned up which was appreciated. All of the workers were very professional and friendly. Dale, the lead contractor for the projects, kept the work moving. We thank them for our spectacular "new rooms." We would highly recommend this top-notch outfit!

There were some challenges along the way, but we were happy with how the team communicated with us and solved the problems that came up. Our new kitchen has received many compliments and we are glad that we trusted S & W with the work.
