D&G Deli and Grill and corporate catering

Let me tell you. Daniel and Gilbert don’t play when it comes to customer satisfaction. I went in today saw another customer salad and wanted one for myself with a twist. I ask if they can do it with tuna. Oh and the Chai tea 1st time having one from here the best I had so far!!!
😋 Amazing no hesitation, sure Miss Bonnie whatever you want you can have it.

I’ve been to other restaurants, other places, and if you ask to have your Food Substitute or Alternate from the picture or the way they have It on the menu, they were simply tell you “NO”,

But not here at D&G grills located E. Bay Downtown Jacksonville.
They simply give it to you the way the customer request if it’s in the will to do.
I have mad/ the greatest respect for this restaurant. If you are in the area, please stop by. You will enjoy the food, atmosphere, and the kindness of this restaurant as well.
I would give them a 10 🌟⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟stars, but it only allows for five.

I ordered an old western omelette and I was very satisfied with the portions. The omelette came with hash browns. I personally like my potatoes more on the crispy side but they were actually pretty good just the way they were with the buttery flavor and the pinch of salt. Mixing that with the cheesy egg savory ham omelette.

I love good price to portion ratios.

I had a meeting in downtown Jacksonville. We were hungry, so we found this little deli. I had my doubts. We walked in and immediately we got a warm and friendly welcome by Gilbert - the owner. Our six lunches were prepared amazingly fast. My colleague said it was the BEST spinach salad he has EVER eaten and compliments from him are rare. Bottom line: Great little understated restaurant. I like nice people.

Love this Greek Deli! Great New York style bagels and breakfast sandwiches and delicious falafel. It feels like a family-owned place that takes pride in their work.

You have to enjoy to believe! Pick any given event and you see lines extending out the door with people (usually repeat customers mixed with out of town visitors) waiting patiently to order. Their expertise is all things “deli” with an Albanian twist. They buy the ingredients fresh daily and spend the time and effort to provide a quality meal at a fair price. I’m a huge fan and wanted to ost this review as the Notre Dame/USC bowl game is on and the lines are a block long just to order.

Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

There is absolutely NOTHING in their menu that doesn't taste amazing. Me and my coworker work in the Blackstone building and we literally have printed out their menu, and we will highlight what ever we ordered so we can always try something new. The menu is almost all highlighted and we LOVE everything. We always spend at least 20 minutes debating on what to get because we love everything. The costumer service is AMAZING, you definably do not get this type of customer service anymore in the food industry. They are very kind. You can tell they love what they do and it shows in the food 100%. All of their sauces are sooooooooo good omg. If you love salmon you NEED to try the Jaguar Fast-Break Sandwich, You literally want to lick the sauce.

Had a few minutes while attending a performance and stopped in here in a pinch. Very cool, laid back people, friendly, and polite. The food was delicious and reasonably priced considering the portion sizes. I saw some other dishes they prepared and it looked amazing! I'll be going back and encourage you to check this place out and support a local family and business.

I was in the area and happened to come across this cafe. Really nice and clean. The two gentlemen were very friendly. I enjoyed my coffee that they served. Thanks Dave and Gilbert. I hope to stop by again when I am in the area.

First time visiting. Great customer service. Got a breakfest pastrami bagel and it was delicious the pastrami was fresh egg cooked perfect. Wife also loved it. Coffee was good. Overall great place and highly recommended.

Owners were awesome, Food was very good. Nice to see an “old school” feel in downtown Jacksonville. Recommend this place

You from New York? You're gonna love this place, it's just like a Bodega except better bc it's downtown Jax. I love how the owners are in the kitchen and attend to the counter at the same time. I ordered the pastrami on an everything bagel, didn't leave one crumb on the plate, sheer perfection. This place is a gem, alittle pricey but what isn't these days... Amirite? If you're not from NY but want a taste of authentic fuel for the people in the city that never sleeps, you'd be hard pressed to find a better spot. 5/5 recommended.

Something that has been sorely missing from the Jacksonville downtown scene and it is a quality deli. D&G Delhi and Grill Fills this need completely period! I went there for a business lunch and was happily surprised with the high quality of their food their chicken wings are tender and season deliciously as well as their cheese steak sandwich was quite good and well seasoned. They were generous with all their meats and vegetables including their gyro which was very very tasty also you should not miss their salads they have A wonderful selections of salads that are fresh crisp and quite delicious when looking for either breakfast or lunch this is a can't miss spot also I have been informed that their chicken wraps are also delicious and they are quite generous with the meat. And for the true Deli fan please don't miss their corn beef and pastrami sandwiches many options to be had with both but high quality meat and quite delicious the rueben will satisfy all your needs. Again this is a can't miss please visit and enjoy.

I ordered a catered lunch for 22 people and it was an absolute hit! The pitas, Greek salad, and chicken were all very fresh and delicious. The owners couldn't have been more kind and helpful. 10/10 will order again.

Good plain old deli breakfast lunch place. Had egg and cheese sausage breakfast sandwich on really fresh homemade whole wheat bread that was fluffy kinda like thin croissant. Go here and not the Hyatt if staying there

Absolutely the best omelet I’ve ever eaten! Don’t miss this place!!!

Great tasting NYC style sandwiches, highly recommended if you live or work in the area due to lack of parking. But that just makes it all the more true to NYC, good luck finding a meter (or park in the grass lot near the police memorial building and walk 5min)
