Great experience!! Clean facilities! The staff check in by text message daily to tell me thank you and to ask if I need anything. Continental breakfast was good with many choices. Will definitely stay again.

So I needed a room for a few days and I came here and I have never been here before but I was pleasantly surprised.
I know it is the off-season now because it is past Labor Day but. The rate was very good which led me to believe. It could possibly not be the greatest hotel but I was wrong..
I guess the rooms have been renovated in the last couple years. At least my? Room. On? The fifth. Floor was. Everything inside looked very modern and new it was beautiful.
I have been in so many hotels all around the world. Some good and some bad but I would gladly return to this hotel tell any day.
Also. You? Can basically? Walk. Right across? The street. To all the? Beach. Accesses and you are a right on the ocean beach.
There is also a free continental breakfast included with this hotel. Stay and there is a spa swimming pool that you can usualize as well. The Young lady who just checked me in in the front was very nice as well and a pleasure to talk with so a big shout out to her as well.

There were some reviews that worried me when booking however it was the best option that I saw in the price range. I think these reviews were before they did renovations because I had no issues with our room. There was plenty of space, the the shower and bathroom was nice and I like that they have amenities like a hair dryer, microwave, and a fridge since some hotels don't. The staff was super helpful upon check in which immediately made me feel at home. I'd recommend this hotel and was very pleasantly surprised considering the reviews.

We had a wonderful stay. People were friendly and helpful. Gave great suggestions for restaurants. Rooms were clean.

This hotel was good for the amount that we paid. The room was comfortable and had clean sheets. A/C not too noisy but still would bring ear plugs just for a bit of street noise. Also the location was great. Cross the street to catch the sunrise on the beach. Also within walking distance to the main shops on Atlantic Ave. But the best part for us was certainly the service. Josa at the front desk was very kind and helpful. She gave us excellent suggestions for places to eat. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a more affordable option!

Perfect location with restaurants, stores, nightlife, and the beach within walking distance of the hotel. The room was immaculate and nice. The staff was awesome. We loved our short getaway.

On vacation from Kentucky, first time at Virginia Beach, first time at SureStay Best Western, employees super awesome, room, clean and modern, breakfast is great and just one of the best places we've ever stayed. First time I've ever received a text making sure everything was fine and thanking me for staying here.

This place was great! The staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back. There is tons of stuff to do and it's all in walking distance. I spent a lot of time down at the beach that's only just a couple minute walk from the hotel.

This is an older hotel but very clean. Its right across the street from the beach and right on the main beach strip. Great price to be right on the beach. Quiet as well. I would definitely stay here again. The front desk clerk is a real sweetheart.

We went to a different hotel first which we found completely inadequate. The very next morning we switched to the Royal Clipper Inn. We got there and the first thing we noticed was the ocean view right from the hotel. The front desk clerk was extremely courteous and helpful. He even got a room early for us. We stayed in a King Suite. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was made neatly, we had plenty of towels and toiletries and the water in the shower was nice and hot. When I needed instructions on something I asked one of the cleaning staff and she was super friendly and helpful. It was quiet over night and the bed was super comfortable. We will definitely be staying again.

Yes, this is an older 2 star motel and comes with the imperfect quirks of such. However, even with stays at higher end hotels, I’ve never experienced the kindness and hospitality of staff as I did during my stay. Additionally, even though it’s older, the room I stayed in had been renovated for a more modern look with dark wood headboard and furnishings including a TV, microwave and mini-fridge in the room and everything was quite clean and the bed was comfy. For reference, I stayed on the Atlantic Avenue side.

Very nice place. The people were very nice that ran the place. It was clean and comfortable beds. Right across the street from the beach. Easy access to everything. Great parking. All for a great price. I definitely recommend this place

I was very pleasantly surprised that this motel was wonderful. It is small, quaint, across the street from the beach, nice balcony, comfortable bed, great grab and go breakfast and most of all CLEAN. The workers there are few, but they are thorough and made it a wonderful experience. I will definitely go back to room 305 next visit!

Wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Clipper. The staff was very friendly, helpful and prompt. The room was clean and spacious, bed was super comfortable and the TV was a good size. Having the elevator access was a tremendous help.
We will definitely return to stay here.

Only thing i’d say is I couldn’t get the safe in the room to work and there’s no breakfast that is served. Not a big deal at all for us, just is helpful to know. Also, the ocean is not in view, there is a hotel blocking it.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, I just reserved a room for Nationals for wrestling in May and Ashli went out of her way to help me since I wasn’t receiving my e mails. I love when staff truly appreciate guest and give great service. Looking forward to May. See you soon. Thanks for the great service Ashli.

Right across the street from the beach. Clean rooms, great front desk person. We arrived early and she was helpful getting us into our room early.
