Amazing food. My new favorite resturant in Aspen. The buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto was amazing and I highly recommend it. My main course was a seafood dish and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was very accommodating and kind and served to us in a timely matter. This restaurant is definitely the best in aspen

Out service and dinner were excellent! I especially enjoyed my Tiramisu and Espresso Martini!!

Great Italian food in the heart of Aspen. Make sure you call ahead as this place gets busy. Also keep in mind the price. Great quality does not come cheap in Aspen.

BEST RESTAURANT IN ASPEN!
During a recent visit to Aspen we had two delicious meals in the bar section of L'Hostaria, as well as excellent, pleasant service. The atmosphere is wonderful both inside and out on the patio. This restaurant is always full with interesting people, but never a long wait. We visited many Aspen restaurants, and this was our favorite by far, and we hear from locals we know that it is the same with them. The menu is diverse and creative and we ordered different meals during each visit. People come both casual and dressed up. The staff never seems rushed, and the pace of service is excellent. We would recommend the restaurant, both Bars and the outside patio. It was a rewarding dining experience all around!

We are locals and love L'Hostaria. I have celebrated there many birthdays with friends and anniversaries with my husband. The food is delicious and mid-price range for Aspen. Great selection of wine and cocktails. The bar menu is the best and most affordable in town.
I would definitely recommend to all Aspen visitors.

Went here for my birthday dinner. Staff was on top of everything! Quick professional service and the food was amazing!!! Quality Italian food and fresh made pasta. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in aspen!

Super cozy and great food. We go early and grab seats at the bar. Ordering off of the bar menu is a great deal and the portions are plenty for dinner. The service is always great. One of our favorite places in Aspen.

Absolute best place in town for dinner. Almost everyone dines in the bar. The bar menu prices and selection are the best. The service is really good and the environment is lively - be prepared to wait. We always order the bolognese and the carbonara. Great post mountain dinner.

During our visit to the Aspen-Snowmass area, we had a wonderful dinner at L'Hostaria one evening. The food and service were excellent. Great appetizers, authentic Italian entrees and our party of seven shared an outrageously delicious dessert sampling tray. Great red sauce and pasta choices... definitely made in-house... like your nana made it! Very nice wine list and excellent, extensive choices available for wines by the glass. The place has been around for over 20 years and they are still packing them in... for good reason.

We had an outstanding dinner, eating on the patio at this excellent restaurant for a birthday celebration. Everything the 4 of us ordered was first rate from the wines to the salads/soups to the pastas to the tuna to the tiramisu.

We were pleasantly surprised with the warm welcome along with some simply spectacular appetizers, complemented with a delightful dinner. Finally Sir Lance of the bar made our experience absolutely perfect.

AMAZING lamb chops with goat cheese!!!!! Tried in other restaurants in town, but there is absolutely no chance they would match the L'Hostaria ones! Love the ambience too. Great desserts and appetizers too. They must have great suppliers as all their items are very fresh and extremely tasty. Amazing mozzarella and meats!!! Dream about this food all year round until it's time to come back to Aspen and L'Hostaria again!

Excellent food, great atmosphere. Excellent full wine list, great wines from smaller Italian Vinyards. Staff is incredibly accommodating. My favorite restaurant in Aspen. Been coming for 15 years.

One of our top three favorite restaurants in Aspen. For Aspen, the prices are reasonable.

It's also a favorite with locals. They also have a relatively inexpensive bar menu, which is a favorite with locals.

If you don't want to try your luck at getting a table or eating in the bar area, be sure and make a reservation.

The arugula, gorgonzola and pear salad was very fresh and the Ahi tuna was excellent. I even ate the bread because it was so warm and good. Quick and friendly service made for a wonderful dinner.

Generally speaking I am not an Italian food lover but because of recommendation of a gentleman I literally meet on street, I went for dinner at L’Hostaria and it was wonderful. Portions were smaller than we usually see (little pricy too) but service was spot on and environment was very nice. I would sure return when I’ll come back to aspen for vacation.
