Something Sweet did a fantastic job on my son's birthday cake. I wanted a cake that was on the simple side but still captured the theme of the party and that's exactly what we got. Most importantly, the cake tasted delicious and all the guests went back for seconds. We also ordered cupcakes that were equally cute and delicious. The ordering process couldn't have been easier and the gal that helped me design the cake was super kind and helpful. We will be back next year!

Something Sweet did an amazing job on my wedding cake. From the design to the flavors, it was one of the most talked about thing at my wedding. They brought my vision to life and even made it better than I imagined it would. Something Sweet has become a staple for my family. They did my sisters wedding cake, my mom’s 60th birthday cake, and now my wedding. We always stop by for cupcakes if we pass through the area, and they are always amazing. Our wedding coordinator was absolutely obsessed with it, saying it was the most beautiful cake she’s ever seen (she see’s wedding cakes daily). I cannot recommend Something Sweet enough!

What an absolutely wonderful, professional & amazing bakery! From the moment you speak to anyone on the staff to the owner Desta herself, you feel like you are the best customer ever! The cakes taste simply amazing...the designs are flawless & the customer service impeccable! We have now received our 5th cake, this one for my grandson's 10th birthday. All I knew is he wanted You Tube theme. I gave no input & put all my trust into them & it was everything I could hope for. They went to his YouTube page & used his character to create the most fabulous cake ever! We now have had an engagement cake, wedding cake, 2 baby shower cakes & this 10th birthday cake! Therewith never be a different bakery for us! Thank you Something Sweet for always being beyond Amazing!

I ordered a 6-inch cake (cake topper size) for a baby shower. The young lady was cheerful, helpful, and accommodating to my questions and request. I love this bakery for the variety of items, such as scones, cakes, cupcakes, cookies, cream puffs, etc. They are a bit pricey, however. But having said that, their quality of baked goods are worth the price! The 6 inch cake I order consisted of white cake, lemon filling, buttercream frosting, with the baby's name and decorative scallops on it in 3 different colors. The price was $81. I also ordered an assortment of whatever their daily cupcake offerings were to provide a nice variety for my guests. The cupcakes were $4 each, which is appropriate for the quality, I believe. I highly recommend this bakery if you want excellent service and a large and delicious selection of baked goods.

Made a beautiful & delicious cake for my mother-in-laws birthday

We’ve gotten a few cakes from here and their cupcakes and they’re always so friendly. We needed last minute gender reveal cupcakes and they were able to whip up 7 cupcakes in 2.5 hours for same day pick up! We love their cakes and cupcakes!! I love this bakery and so glad that they’re in Galt only 20 minutes from my house. Thank you something sweet bakery!!

I love all the desserts that we got for our dessert bar, our personal favorites were the blueberry and cream macarons and the dark chocolate dipped strawberries. Our wedding cake was so delicious and I love how they can customize it to exactly what you want, from all the flavor combinations to the beautiful designs

The employees are so friendly. Especially the joyful young man who helped my mom and I today. He was amazing! Super helpful and kind. The cupcakes are great too! I actually had a cake made several yrs ago here and I think maybe it was just an off day. It wasn't very yummy..but since then like I said we've had nothing but great cupcakes here. I like to give second chances and support local businesses.. and Im really glad Something Sweet is here in Galt ❤

The baker took her time to work on the design of the "perfect cake" for our baby shower. It was beautiful and delicious.

My husband and I ordered our daughters 4 tier wedding cake and it looked so beautiful. We ordered three different flavors and they all were delicious. Now, I'm ordering her baby shower cake here too. They do a great job!

It's amazing! We had macaroons for our wedding shower and our wedding cake made by Something Sweet. They were delicious, no one could stop eating the macaroons and everyone complimented the wedding cake. I will definitely be coming back next time I need something sweet!

Best place to get wedding and custom cakes in the greater Sacramento area. Been going here since they first opened. Great family owned business with outstanding service. They are so creative with their designs. Did I mention they make fantastic cupcakes?

Everything here is epic!!!! I think you get so much quality for the price. Such nice people. Amazing cupcakes and lemons bars and they do insane custom cakes! If you like life or even if you don’t and just want something sweet, do yourself a favor and go here!!!

Our cake for my daughters bridal shower was simply beautiful and tasted amazing! Everyone commented on how scrumptious it was. We will definitely be back to experience more of your goodies!

The staff is wonderful! We ordered a 2 tier cake for our daughters 16th Birthday, the cake was exactly like the picture we sent in, and was delicious. We will defiantly be ordering from them again!!!
