Courtyard by Marriott Stockton

For a hotel in a smaller town I was surprised by how nice it was. It cozy and compared to some Marriotts in larger cities it is actually way nicer. Staff was really nice here as well bring very helpful. I was here for the University of the Pacific admitted student day so they were understanding and helped as much as they could. There is also a little Starbucks bar inside. There is also a joint basketball tennis court, a pool, and a small hot tub. Overall very nice hotel.

Was concerned about some of the negative reviews. Our experience was very good! We found Hotel staff: DeeDee, Tom & House Maids all to be kind & friendly. Our Rm was clean, A/C worked fine. Location felt safe. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Overall I really enjoy this Courtyard. This really comes down to the staff, they are amazing. I have been staying here for over a year at a cadence as slow as 1 week per month and up to every other week.

If anyone ever wants to visit or pass through Stockton this is where I would recommend staying. Located near enough everything and in a good area!

My friends came upon the Courtyard Marriott when we decided to make last minute plans to stay a whole weekend in Stockton. We chose the Courtyard based on price within our budget, location, and how clean and acceptable the rooms looked both on Google reviews and their website. When we checked into the hotel, we were kindly and immediately greeted by the front desk receptionist who quickly checked us in and gave us information and tips on the area.

When we came to our room, we found it to be very clean, comfy and the bed sheets exceeded our expectations. The wall between the beds was nice when half our group was asleep and the other was awake. TV had cable which lets you watch a handful of channels like Food Network, Comedy Central, and other lovable channels. Towel service and beds were made immediately while we were gone which was very convenient for us.

While our Stockton adventure was a little chaotic, we found the Courtyard to be our safe haven for a multitude of reasons. It was great coming back to a clean cozy hotel room each night of our stay. The hotel is also situated in area with tons of restaurants and shops.

Definitely one of the best hotel experiences I've had and a more personal experience with the friendly staff. The hotel carried alot of charm that you won't see anywhere else. I would definitely book here again the next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My Dad stayed in the room across from us and had the same experience. It was a good night's stay and quiet.

This beautiful hotel was perfect. It really could not have been any better! We arrived 2 hours early for check-in. Not a problem, our room was ready! Great property, spotless rooms, and super friendly staff.

Just completing our 2 week stay here for my husbands work. I have to say Lei at the front desk was SO helpful. Tom at the front desk was really nice. Raiven and Sarah in the bistro was so sweet as usual and Raiven makes great drinks! The only thing I would change is being able to stream Netflix and prime on the TVs. Will definitely be back. A+

Great stay here recently. My first experience left room for improvement, with an overbooking resulting in having to be transferred to another hotel, followed by severe delay in paperwork which prevented me from checking in. The manager took care of me though by comping points, and made sure I had a room for this visit.

Hotel was quiet and comfortable, located in a relatively safe area of Stockton. The elevator could probably use an update, and I wish breakfast was included, or at least slightly more affordable at the bistro. Shower also seemed to be darker than normal due to poor lighting placement, but those are just my suggestions. All in all, great experience here!

Rooms were clean enough. Beds were comfortable but pillows needed to be upgraded (too soft). Work out room had good equipment. Cafe had good coffee and breakfast burritos. Common area spaces and hallways need more cleaning attention. Overall good place to stay for $100 a night.

The customer service at this hotel is the best I have ever experienced. After booking at a hotel in the area without seeing it, I drove by and decided it wasn't safe to stay there. I walked into the Marriott and just prayed for a room to be available. Tom was at the front desk, he not only empathized with my situation he gave me a rate on a room that was reasonable. I wasn't sure where I was going to go if he hadn't helped me, the other hotels in the area were sold out. He was a true life saver. The woman who was at the bistro area was top notch as well. Being in the hospitality industry, customer service is something I really critique. These employees were the best of the best helping me in my time of need. If everyone at Marriott is as amazing as these two, I will only look for a Marriott when I travel in the near future. Thank you Tom!!

We had such a great experience here. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They put us in an accessible room without us having to request it. Our room was beautiful with a nice little balcony perfect for morning coffee. We will definitely be back.

People are super friendly, kind, and helpful. I checked in really late at night, but they were still happy to greet me. The rooms are clean and they also get cleaned very fast, which is nice when we return to the room after a day of being out. The internet works well. The beds are comfy. Not much more you could ask for in a short stay away from home.

Such a clean quite and honestly simple hotel with a honest and family type of environment. Staff honestly concerned about your needs and breakfast was promp and was filling. I also appreciate the fact that the staff returned my cell phone I thought I had lost and the second floor cleaning lady was especially helpful when she looked for it everywhere.

The place overall is very clean as are the rooms. The staff is super friendly and I loved how comfortable the bed was. I always feel safe staying.

One of the best place to stay . Clean and newly updated rooms. Great customer service. Very friendly staff. I had a great time out there. The best part was the pool and a cafe by the lobby. Great breakfast.

You can't beat the service you get here. Tom, the front desk manager, is amazing! Definitely one of the best if not the best hotel manager I've encountered in my 17 years of traveling for work. He is a true professional and ALWAYS goes out of his way to make sure guests feel welcomed and their needs are met beyond expectations and consistently.

Spacious accommodations; very clean; 2 dbl beds; love seat w/ ottoman. Pullout table for comfortable dining and huge TV screen! Only negative: Very small under-counter refrigerator.

Such a lovely place to stay. Quiet, clean, and very comfy. I have stayed here for 4 of the last 8 weeks and it has truly been a wonderful home away from home
