Staff was amazing for a birthday celebration and was able to accommodate our large group! Food was delicious hot and fresh!

Absolutely love this place! Both locations are absolutely awesome. Great food, staff & atmosphere. We went to the buffet this day & it did not disappoint. If you've never been, you have to go.

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in the region, solid chips and salsa, the jalapeño fajitas are what i dream of!! The food portions are big enough to get 2-3 meals out of and the chimichanga is the size of a infant toddler. 10/10 would recommend!

We travel the country full-time and always seek out Mexican restaurants. We had a brief overnight outside Toledo and found this place. So good! Our first impressions are formed by the house chips & salsa and house margaritas. These were fantastic! The fajita fundido was so good and plenty to share! Chorizo! Yes! The plentiful guacamole dip looked like a flower! Highly recommend this place.

One of our favorite Mexican restaurants so far. Some of the best food we had had in a long time. Full of flavor, all around greatness.

Just seeing that I left this as a draft. NOV. 22...Fast & friendly survice. Accommodated a large party. I was pleasantly surprised our reservations through Google went through without a glitch. Food is always hot & delicious!
March of 23.... Came in early Friday evening (Just 2 of us this time)Great service! Our waiter was pleasant, engaging & attentive. He checked on us frequently. We each ordered Carne asada tacos. It was okay. Not much flavor this time around. Typically the food here is great. We'll be back.

10 min waitlist. Service good. We couldn't decide it all looked tempting but order was quick. Drinks were great and food very good as well as plentiful. I couldn't eat it all.

All the food is always fresh and hot, and the margs always hit the spot. We love the Texas Margarita and street tacos.

All I know is that after one lunch here this is going to be a place I come back to for the rest of my life despite it being a 2-hour drive for me.

I am vegan and have never really experienced a Mexican restaurant that gives you that traditional feel while still having plenty of non-traditional options to eat. Rightfully so as well since I know many locations and recipes use animal products and their beans and rice - And that's how they've done it for a long time! I was so pleasantly surprised when looking at restaurants in the area to stumble across Cocina de Carlos.

We went on a Friday afternoon and we're set immediately. I ordered the vegano combo and it was incredible. The beans and rice were probably the best I've ever had at any restaurant. The avocado was fresh, the vegan queso was out of this world, the salsa and chips that come for free before your meal were even better.

After two margaritas and a plate full of INCREDIBLE food, I left a very happy woman.

Have stopped here many times, I live just down the road. Great food and service. Food always hot and consistent quality.

The buffet is very good for buffet food, it's hot and fresh. The buffet has mini chimichangas, fajitas, queso, beans, rice, and other toppings. very good for $11.25.

SO good! One of our favorite Mexican places. The food is amazing!!! We really want to try their lunch buffet but haven’t had the chance to yet. This is the only place around (that we’ve found) that has a cactus dish!

We loved our Vegan food. It was fresh and tasty. Definitely recommended.

I took my wife here today for her birthday. She had chicken nachos and I had the burrito sancho both was delicious. Staff was great and answered a couple questions and our food came out a few minutes after ordering. Both the waterville and perrysburg restaurants I give 2👍👍's up and we will be back soon. Great authentic Mexican dishes! The guac was spectacular and so were our lunches! It is a big 5 star rating for me! The servers were exceptional! No issues at this restaurant!

Normally people don’t complain about cheese, and the amount of it in their dish. However, I ordered a shrimp fajita with chihuahua cheese, and I swear there had to of been a quarter poind of cheese. The food was very good, that I could find, but I had to dig through cheese to get to it. There was no balance to this dish.

The food is amazing. The service is fantastic. The prices are great. Very clean and nicely decorated.

Carne Asada street tacos, and taco salad bowl. And strawberry margarita sugar lined rim. Outside seating. Clean restrooms. Very clean. Masks. Fast service. Food hot. Ask server for specials. You do get a paper receipt ! Plenty of free parking. Manager was very friendly, greeted us at the door, helpful and smiled alot. There is no reason to give it less than 5 stars. 🌮🌯🍸🍺 !
