We stayed at the Legoland Castle Hotel for just one night, and it was fantastic! The service, cleanliness, and staff were all excellent. My children had an amazing time—they loved the themed rooms and all the fun activities. It’s also incredibly convenient being right next to the park, especially when you have little ones who need to wind down or take a break during the day. We’re already planning to come back next year! Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Legoland with kids.

Love this hotel, both kids and adults.
Very comfortable and well themed.
I would just come to this hotel without the need to go to the actual Legoland theme park.
One drawback is still the paper thin wall and you can hear everything in the neighboring rooms.

Always love ❤ it, amazing memories with the family.
California rooms are the best. Please choose the right theme for your kids. Otherwise, you will be in problem lollll, where to eat ? Make reservations at the knights restaurant for the best food and customer service.
Try to check in early. You will have plenty of time to enjoy.

Go and make some memories

Fun themed hotel! Kids will get a kick out of the design. Lots of Easter eggs to find among the decorations in the rooms and common areas. A small treasure hunt is provided that unlocks a treasure chest in the rooms.

My daughter had a blast! It was fun! It would have been 5 stars on the service if we were not moved from Legoland Hotel to Castle Hotel. My 7-year-old daughter saved for 2 years just to be moved to a different hotel not of her liking. Nonetheless, it was still fun.

My family of 5 just stayed two nights at the castle hotel and two days at the park and water park, and it was an AWESOME weekend. I'll start with the cons since there are very few of them:

1. We had 3 kids on reservation, (3, 5, 7) and only 2 juices and 2 prizes in the treasure chest. So make sure how ever many kids you have they make sure they put the right amount of treasures in the chest. I had a very unhappy 3 year old right off the bat.

2. Lines for water park are long and slow. They also need about 200 more chairs and shade. Get there BEFORE opening and wait in line and secure a spot under the very few umbrellas/shade the park offers, or you will be screwed.

3. They need WAY more than 1 infant raft for lazy river.

4. Lots and lots of rules for lazy river. Almost made it not fun. You should be able to swim beside your raft. You CANT hold your little one on a single raft it must be a big double one.

5. The wave pool was opened but no waves. Huge disappointment for a water park to not have an operational wave pool.

PROS:

1. The hotel room was very quiet and comfortable. Loved the separated kids rooms with the bunks and trundle. Kids felt save and secure in bunks.

2. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

3. The detachable shower head was a LIFESAVER with kids. The shower was clean.

4. We wore bathing suits underneath our clothes, and crocs/flip flops and it worked out perfect. We just kept clothes in a small bag and stowed Under chairs.

5. Bought a waterproof cell phone pouch for phones, valuables, and credit cards.

6. You don't need a lifevest they offer them, but you do need towels.

7. Use the WIZARD to text and ask questions. Once you get in the room you text them for anything you need and it will be up to your room within 10 minutes. They answered SO many of our questions.

8. The breakfast was yummy. Make reservations for 8:30 and get in early access line at the front of the park by 9:15 and get on Dino roller coaster. Fun one for the Littles. My 3 year old was able to ride it.

9. We ordered BJS takeout (a 5 minute drive) and save the rest for the following day and it saved us a ton of money for dinner. They have nice cold fridges.

10. The air is nice and quiet AND cold.

11. You can bring water- I suggest freezing a few beforehand if you can. You can bring snacks as well. As for coolers not sure but I saw some being brought in.

Overall was a great stay, I'm glad we finally did it. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Everyone was helpful and pleasant.

It was super fun to stay here. I loved the games they had available for the kids. The themed rooms were really great. The kids really enjoyed finding and making Lego sets. Love being within walking distance of the park. I think they did a great job at this hotel! And we are actually really loved the breakfast. Five stars.

My family really enjoyed staying here! It was so convenient to the park, and the parking lot felt secure. Even my husband was impressed by the themed rooms. I was impressed by how quiet it was: who would guess that this family hotel would be the place where I wouldn’t hear people walking back to their rooms late at night, talking loudly or slamming their doors? Not me. I also really appreciated the ability to text the concierge for extra towels, etc. We would definitely stay again!

This is my kids favorite hotel. The pool is fun with floating Lego bricks. The playground is fun and challenging for kids of all ages. The outdoor movie screen is fun to watch. We loved the family entertainment. One of our favorite parts is the breakfast buffet. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They really make the kids feel special.

Wonderful hotel, for grownups and kids alike!
First, the service was wonderful. Before arriving we had an unusual request from the hotel and they were great accommodating it when we arrived. Throughout the stay the whole staff, from the people helping us with the luggage to the people in the restaurant - everyone were helpful, pleasant and smiling.
The room was better than imagined, with many Lego details as well as child-safe like rubber bumpers on the shelf corners in the kids area.
The breakfast was great with great variety from bacon an eggs, waffles and pancakes to yogurt and fruits.
The entire stay was a real experience that we can't wait to have again!

Such a fun place to stay. Every inch is decorated and lots of fun at every corner. There’s a slide in the lobby, and fun on the elevator. Always some fun activities going on. Lots of courtyard games, movies, characters walking around, shows. Quiet at night when you want it to be. Nice to be so close to the park. Definitely recommend.

We love Legoland Castle Hotel! We try to stay here at least 1-3 times a year! The 15% discount for season pass holders is always a bonus! And I believe they have more availability for season pass holders than ones who arent.
The customer service is amazing! You can text concierge anything you need and it is at your doorstep right away.
There is a separate bedroom for the kids, with their own TV and a very spacious bathroom.
The rooms are always clean and we love their themed rooms!
Especially the treasure hunt which always gets the kiddos some amazing legos

We have stayed at both hotels on different occasions and love the Castle Hotel much more. We love the giant movie screen, pool, hot tub, playground, and outdoor stage. My kids love the slide in the lobby and they prefer the Dragons Den restaurant over Bricks Buffet. The Legoland Hotel does have its own unique benefits but the good news is: you can visit and use the Legoland hotel amenities as a Castle Hotel guest. Win-win!!

Legoland hotel and park was lots of fun. I think I had more fun than the kids. The breakfast at the buffet restaurant was delicious. There is an activity for the kids to open the safe in the room for a surprise, it was a kiddie disco party in the hotel on the main floor and a show on the main floor. Not sure what it was about, didn’t stick around to watch. The disco elevator is a blast.

Super fun with a playground and small water park. Didn't use the water park at all. Rooms are the most fun of any we have stayed in. There was a treasure hunt that leads to a treasure chest in your own room that has actual "treasure" and prizes. The kids loved it.

We didn’t stay here but went over to enjoy the pool and playground and loved the movie area. I think I’m still glad we’re were in Legoland hotel but both very similar and pools interchangeable etc.

Sorry not great photo moments as I took more videos of the kids playing w the bricks and then hot tub for my skinny 8 yr old who has no fats and always craves something warm after 15 min.

Nice life guards and staff and they walk around like crazy and vigilant and truly have kid safety at heart.

I posted on social media and all kids would love this. I also got one on one talk time w my teen not ready to dive in just yet. Win win

Best part of Legoland in my opinion. The room has a treasure box in it with a code on it. You have to go through hotel and do a scavenger hunt to get the code and each day you stay there they will restock a bunch of Legos in the treasure box. My kids love the bunk beds and that they have their own TV and Lego wall. Pro tip - ask to stay near the elevator. The hall is like a half mile long. However the hotel is literally right outside the entrance to Legoland, so that's nice. Much better than if you stay at the Disney hotel and still have to walk a mile to get to the entrance of Disney.

What a great experience! Family of 4 spent 2 nights at the castle hotel. Amazing theme, clean and very entertaining. Just few things for reminder:

1. Please pre check in
2. For parking valet is $50/day and self service $30/day.
3. Download the LEGOLAND app
4. Book your restaurant on the app

Actually stayed at Legoland hotel, did dinner at the castle. This place is very focused on family with younger kids. This not a Waldorf Astoria, but a fun functionally themed hotel that is amazing for a 5 year old. It's Legos everywhere! Prizes for the kids, activities in hotel - treasure hunt, story time, and a dance party for Halloween! Pool area has life guards and life vests for the youngsters.

We love staying here when we visit Legoland. I wouldn't stay anywhere else if you have little kids. It makes the experience of Legoland that much better.
