We stayed at the Legoland Castle Hotel for just one night, and it was fantastic! The service, cleanliness, and staff were all excellent. My children had an amazing time—they loved the themed rooms and all the fun activities. It’s also incredibly convenient being right next to the park, especially when you have little ones who need to wind down or take a break during the day. We’re already planning to come back next year! Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Legoland with kids.

I spent close to $1,600 for a package for 2 adults & 2 kids for 2 nights with 2 day hopper tickets in a little upgraded Kingdom fully themed room. I was questioning myself did I spend too much money for this? But the second we walked into the room and seeing the kids’ reactions, it was all totally worth it. My 6 yo son & 5 yo daughter said this is the best hotel ever and they couldn’t stop walking around looking at everything. Many details went into the room with lots of custom made legos. The kids have a bunk bed with their own TV with a trundle on the bottom that pulls out. Adults get their own bigger space with a queen size bed and a separate tv. Best part was the treasure chest. Very clever. They had to find answers to 4 questions, where they had to explore different parts of the hotel to find the 4 digit code into the “treasure chest” aka safe, in which there were 2 mini lego gift sets. Also important too I wish I knew before going, if you are going to the water park, TAKE THE HOTEL TOWELS WITH YOU! They don’t provide towels at the water park but the hotel guests can take the towels with them. Overall, Great stay and would def go again!

Marcela at the LEGOLAND Hotel made our stay unforgettable! My child really wanted a badge, and even though she didn’t have any at first, Marcela went out of her way to find us later just to give him one. Her kindness made my kid’s day! Thank you, Marcela, for your wonderful service!

Fun themed hotel! Kids will get a kick out of the design. Lots of Easter eggs to find among the decorations in the rooms and common areas. A small treasure hunt is provided that unlocks a treasure chest in the rooms.

My daughter had a blast! It was fun! It would have been 5 stars on the service if we were not moved from Legoland Hotel to Castle Hotel. My 7-year-old daughter saved for 2 years just to be moved to a different hotel not of her liking. Nonetheless, it was still fun.

Love this hotel, both kids and adults.
Very comfortable and well themed.
I would just come to this hotel without the need to go to the actual Legoland theme park.
One drawback is still the paper thin wall and you can hear everything in the neighboring rooms.

My family of 5 just stayed two nights at the castle hotel and two days at the park and water park, and it was an AWESOME weekend. I'll start with the cons since there are very few of them:

1. We had 3 kids on reservation, (3, 5, 7) and only 2 juices and 2 prizes in the treasure chest. So make sure how ever many kids you have they make sure they put the right amount of treasures in the chest. I had a very unhappy 3 year old right off the bat.

2. Lines for water park are long and slow. They also need about 200 more chairs and shade. Get there BEFORE opening and wait in line and secure a spot under the very few umbrellas/shade the park offers, or you will be screwed.

3. They need WAY more than 1 infant raft for lazy river.

4. Lots and lots of rules for lazy river. Almost made it not fun. You should be able to swim beside your raft. You CANT hold your little one on a single raft it must be a big double one.

5. The wave pool was opened but no waves. Huge disappointment for a water park to not have an operational wave pool.

PROS:

1. The hotel room was very quiet and comfortable. Loved the separated kids rooms with the bunks and trundle. Kids felt save and secure in bunks.

2. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.

3. The detachable shower head was a LIFESAVER with kids. The shower was clean.

4. We wore bathing suits underneath our clothes, and crocs/flip flops and it worked out perfect. We just kept clothes in a small bag and stowed Under chairs.

5. Bought a waterproof cell phone pouch for phones, valuables, and credit cards.

6. You don't need a lifevest they offer them, but you do need towels.

7. Use the WIZARD to text and ask questions. Once you get in the room you text them for anything you need and it will be up to your room within 10 minutes. They answered SO many of our questions.

8. The breakfast was yummy. Make reservations for 8:30 and get in early access line at the front of the park by 9:15 and get on Dino roller coaster. Fun one for the Littles. My 3 year old was able to ride it.

9. We ordered BJS takeout (a 5 minute drive) and save the rest for the following day and it saved us a ton of money for dinner. They have nice cold fridges.

10. The air is nice and quiet AND cold.

11. You can bring water- I suggest freezing a few beforehand if you can. You can bring snacks as well. As for coolers not sure but I saw some being brought in.

Overall was a great stay, I'm glad we finally did it. I'm not sure what all the negative reviews are about. Everyone was helpful and pleasant.

Always love ❤ it, amazing memories with the family.
California rooms are the best. Please choose the right theme for your kids. Otherwise, you will be in problem lollll, where to eat ? Make reservations at the knights restaurant for the best food and customer service.
Try to check in early. You will have plenty of time to enjoy.

Go and make some memories

We LOVE Legoland hotels. We live about an hour away but stay for Birthdays, even mine (grandmother). This time we sprung for the suite! 3 adults and 5yo x2, 3 yo x1. Cost shared among 3.
Arrived Friday afternoon, played in lobby until room ready, about 30 minutes. Since we had been there before grandson "hosted" his friends. Showed them where to jump for farming sound. Had dance party in elevator!
Immediately started looking for clues to open the safe. First night they got Lego dogs. Next night, set that could make 3 types of black and white animals. We made panda. Went to castle for dinner. Kids played in the lobby first. Then played hours at playground! Back to room, kids finally found their room. Note: seems TV choices are different on TV in kids area.
Next day 830 breakfast. Great! Than early admission to Dino land. Fun day at Legoland. Took pizzas from park back for supper. Kids played, adults rested. Sunday similar start. Opened and closed Legoland.
Already planned visit for an October stay.

Can't wait to visit Legoland for parade this summer. Please note we have season pass.

My family really enjoyed staying here! It was so convenient to the park, and the parking lot felt secure. Even my husband was impressed by the themed rooms. I was impressed by how quiet it was: who would guess that this family hotel would be the place where I wouldn’t hear people walking back to their rooms late at night, talking loudly or slamming their doors? Not me. I also really appreciated the ability to text the concierge for extra towels, etc. We would definitely stay again!

Legoland is a lego lovers paradise and like "the Lord of the Flies" for the kids . Be prepared parents lol lol. Waterpark. Amusement park and aquarium. Best thing is to take the train, stay at the hotel and spend 2 days exploring. Defitely great visuals and amazing lego builds.

It was super fun to stay here. I loved the games they had available for the kids. The themed rooms were really great. The kids really enjoyed finding and making Lego sets. Love being within walking distance of the park. I think they did a great job at this hotel! And we are actually really loved the breakfast. Five stars.

We had a fun experience staying at the Legoland hotel. You can't beat the location , only steps away from the park. The hotel provided a huge amount of entertainment for the kids and families. Our kids had non-stop fun playing with Legos, playing in the pirate ship, exploring the hotel, and visiting with characters. It's definitely worth a stay to get the whole experience.

This is my kids favorite hotel. The pool is fun with floating Lego bricks. The playground is fun and challenging for kids of all ages. The outdoor movie screen is fun to watch. We loved the family entertainment. One of our favorite parts is the breakfast buffet. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They really make the kids feel special.

Wonderful hotel, for grownups and kids alike!
First, the service was wonderful. Before arriving we had an unusual request from the hotel and they were great accommodating it when we arrived. Throughout the stay the whole staff, from the people helping us with the luggage to the people in the restaurant - everyone were helpful, pleasant and smiling.
The room was better than imagined, with many Lego details as well as child-safe like rubber bumpers on the shelf corners in the kids area.
The breakfast was great with great variety from bacon an eggs, waffles and pancakes to yogurt and fruits.
The entire stay was a real experience that we can't wait to have again!

I had a blast with my family here. The rooms are all really big! And it’s literally a few feet away from the entrance of the park. Can’t get any better than that!

The location is very convenient. It’s literally next to the park entrance. Their theme rooms were great. They have 2 restaurants at the hotel, know that you must reserve a time to show up, the food was great. Breakfast is a buffet. The valet service is amazing. The pool is great too, it is a heated pool. Overall I recommend this place for a complete park experience and a convenient place to stay.

We loved our stay at the legoland hotel. location was super convenient, lots of hidden surprises around the hotel. The elevators were also a surprise and great every time. The restaurants required a reservation, but I booked breakfast everyday the first day we arrived so there wasnt an issue there. We tried both the bricks and castle restaurants for dinner both were good. Everywhere is a dance party, and the staff did events every night from bingo to dancing to story telling. It was a wonderful experience for both adults and kids alike. We ended up using valet parking because it was easy. All the models throughout the hotel were amazing. The pirate ship play area was perfect to spend time in before the park opened. Our kids completed the scavenger hunt the very first night and the pool is heated! but only open till 7.

Such a fun place to stay. Every inch is decorated and lots of fun at every corner. There’s a slide in the lobby, and fun on the elevator. Always some fun activities going on. Lots of courtyard games, movies, characters walking around, shows. Quiet at night when you want it to be. Nice to be so close to the park. Definitely recommend.
