What a great experience. The doctors super friendly, professional, sympathetic and helpful with my pet.
The care they gave was towards my Chinchilla was exceptional. They were very thorough and explained all what was done and the care that needs to follow.

Friendly and efficient service. My pet rabbit seemed comfortable there during his appointments, and they always treated him with much care!

I also got him neutered here and they did a very good job with it, he recovered quickly from the procedure with no complications. He's a happy and healthy rabbit now!

The vets explain everything about his health clearly, and answer all of my questions, and are very helpful! Prices are great too.

If you are looking for a vet's office for your rabbit or any other exotic pet, I recommend them!

This vet is the only place my wife and I will take our guniea pigs! They are really sweet and accommodating as best as they can. I had two appointments scheduled between all my Guinea pigs, I got two of them in their carrier and headed to the car and my car wouldn't start! I called island exotic vet panicked realizing I can't make my appointment the woman was so kind she could probably hear the anxiety and panic in my voice and talked to her boss about not having me pay the last minute cancellation fee and to consider it in the "holiday spirit" I can't tell you how much I appreciated that. I work for an animal care company and completely understand last minute cancellation fees and why they are so important as they have to turn away patients with my time slot taken up already! But it truly made the difference in putting that money to fix my car and I was able to reschedule for the next week. We have been going there for a couple years now and have nothing but good things to say. Thank you guys for really being amazing and also going above and beyond for your clients!

Excellent clinic. Dr. Davis and Dr. Wiggins, along with the front desk staff and vet techs are always professional, knowledgeable, and accessible for any follow-up questions. Ariel the tech is such a rockstar too. They are so thorough and kind regardless of your budget plus having great pricing transparency which is sometimes difficult to find. They did recently bring on Dr. Greene who I have seen a few times as well and is very kind. I trust them with my pets! Thank you.

So informative and helpful with my rabbit! gave me guides and education on my rabbits health and ways to improve her quality of life without coming across as judgemental were so helpful and took wonderful care of her! they were also very efficient

This clinic has taken great care of our bunny, Onion. The techs are attentive and ask a lot of good relevant questions, the vet is thorough in her explanations, and since there's no dogs or cats allowed, the waiting room is an awesome spot for small pets to wait anxiety-free. Staff is also patient... we are first time pet owners for ourselves (had pets of our own growing up but our first as a married couple away from home) so they are always reassuring and patient with all our questions. We would not want to take Onion anywhere else at this point.

Just an update! many months later- i have now brought in my Uromastyx lizard and still the best service ever. Everybody is so friendly, they explain everything super thoroughly. As someone who works in the veterinary field but with dogs/cats, i can say these doctors and technicians are nothing short of amazing. thank you guys so much for the amazing care of my babies!

The two times i brought my snake here the staff was amazing. she had pneumonia and they gave me the medication i needed to treat her at home, she had a check up after and was found to be back to good health. Can’t wait to bring the rest of my reptiles here ❤

Took my Sun Concure here. She was experiencing some like seizures. They give me some vitamins that seem to help her. She is doing much better and seems to be back to herself.

I’ve brought my boa here twice. They staff are awesome. At first I was worried because my boa is 7 feet long and weighs 15 pounds. Dr. Davis was excellent with her and even told me how beautiful she is haha. They are also very clear with the prices which is nice.

There is literally no other vet I would trust to take care of my bunny Oliver. He was recently here with GI Stasis which can be fatal for a rabbit if they do not get immediate care. Island Exotic kept him for two nights and provided me with updates. Oliver is doing well now and that is all thanks to Island Exotic.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I have been using Island Exotics for several years. Excellent care received for my pet rats through the years when health issues have come up. Very reasonable prices, accommodating of emergency visits & great with ongoing care.

Dr. Davis was very skilled when it came to surgical removal of a difficult eyelid tumor on my pet rat. Harley’s tumor removal was stitched very nicely & precisely.

Dr. Mattuck has been very knowledgeable and helpful in the treatment of other conditions, such as abscess, infections, & other tumors.

Overall very skilled doctors. I trust them completely & wouldn’t bring my boys anywhere else.

They always take great care of our bunny Lola. We came here for our other bunny Eva prior, who unfortunately left us to soon. The staff is so great to us. They help us through the the tough times and share great memories as well.

Dr. Davis and the Island Exotic team are amazing—when I take my chinchilla there, I know she’s in good hands! They’re so knowledgeable and I feel fully informed whenever I leave the office. Always amazing care. At Dr. H's each person is kind and knowledgeable. The history and ages of my parrots is spotty at best (since they are all rescues who really knows!) She takes the time to ask you questions all while observing birds general behavior and health. Just amazing.

Came here for the first time, they have signs that made it clear that you have to go in from the back. All the nurses and the doctor were really nice. It was quick and simple, i had them check up on my hamster. Just make sure you ask them if there’d be a fee for most of the stuff because they do not inform you that beforehand. Other than that everything else was excellent.

I took my 4 and a 1/2 year old Guinea pig Fiona to get a cyst examined and drained, she left a very happy piggy! Great service with friendly staff, and very transparent pricing. Definitely coming back here again and highly recommend! Give them a call today if you are still on the fence.

My little chirp Sunny (cockatiel) was acting very lethargic and I didn't know what was wrong with her. Dr. Hoefer and Dr. Davis were immaculate at taking care of her. She had to stay overnight and their staff was there around the clock those couple nights taking care of my bird. Now she is back to her little self and I can't thank them enough. They gave me the medicine and everything explaining what she needed after her visit. Thank you for the care you give. God bless you.

Thank you Dr. Hoefer and Dr. Mattucks for your hard work! Thanks to the staff for taking good care of my rabbit. We really thought he wasn't going to pull through whatever sickness he had but now he's eating again and back to his normal self!

My friend had recommended me this place after having his hamster seen and treated well before here. When I went, they took very good care of my hamster and were able to fit me in for an emergency appointment on a Saturday. We got the antibiotic we needed and Dr. Davis explained everything really well to me, demonstrated how to administer oral meds, and answered all of my questions. A few days later, my hamster was happy and healthy again. 🙂 There’s no better place to take your pet than here. They care a lot for you and your companion and have so much experience. I highly recommend exotic pet owners to come here. 👌🏻
