Excellent professional service all around. Ordering was easy over the phone (that's right, a real live person) and the bouquet of roses that were delivered were simply out of this world. I always get my wife flowers for Valentine's Day, usually from one of the "discount" mail order florists. I eventually got tired of giving her roses that were not even open (and often never did open fully), so I tried the Funky Flower Shop this year.
I ordered a dozen long stemmed roses with Baby's Breath, and was able to do so very easily on line, at an excellent price. I could choose from a wide variety of options, and pick the delivery date I wanted. I opted to pick them up myself, since I live just a few blocks from the store - although they seemed quite well set up for efficient delivery.
What I got was actually even nicer looking than the website photo. All blooms were open just enough to look gorgeous, the arrangement was professionally done (my wife didn't have to cut the stems and arrange them herself as in the past), and they were in an attractive and very sturdy vase. It's only been a bit over a day since I got them, but they show no signs of withering or losing petals, as the discount flowers often do.
I won't hesitate to go back to Funky Flowers for the next occasion!

Wonderful local flower shop! I've ordered flowers online two years in a row now for my mom's birthday and she's loved them each time! The arrangements are beautiful and unique and she said the owner who delivered them was so nice :) I will definitely continue to be a customer here!!

Lovely work and really friendly service. I called several time with questions and the owner was very helpful. The bouquet of flowers I ordered for my mother's 75th birthday was really beautiful and lasted a long time with proper care. I wasn't very specific about what I wanted, just a few simple requests and I left the rest up to the owner's judgement. My mother was really pleased with her birthday bouquet.

The Funky Flower provided excellent, same-day service--on Memorial Day, no less. I delayed ordering till the morning of the day I needed a bouquet delivered, not thinking there may be a problem as it was a holiday. I called many nearby florists, none of which could deliver that day.

But the Funky Flower came to the rescue; they delivered a beautiful bouquet a few hours later!

I ordered a bouquet for a close friend in Huntington Station after a death in their family. The staff was incredible, took my order is less than 5 minutes and delivered it 3 hours later. Great shop!

I ordered sympathy flowers on their website. Due to a technical glitch, the flowers were not sent on the delivery date I put in. Once I brought it to their attention Michele was courteous & went out of her way to not only send the flowers the very next day but add to them & include an apology note for the delay. Absolutely the best florist around! Delivered same day I ordered, even though I requested next day delivery. My Mom, in rehabilitation facility, raved about how beautiful the arrangement is and that one week after delivery they are as fresh as the day they were delivered!

Michelle and Ricky have done a fantastic job with the store. I got an arrangement for my wife and it far exceeded my expectations. I had it delivered to her job and her co workers were blown away. The delivery was very quick and easy. I felt like they really took care of me. Michelle does the best arrangements in the area. Ive purchased from other shops that are more commercial but nothing beats the local small business. Definitely the only place to go for someone important in your life.
