The Allen Hotel

We loved this hotel. The room was fantastic, we had the 6th floor and a great view with floor to ceiling windows. King bed was so comfy. And don't forget to check out the rooftop patio! We arrived by train and it was very late,we called the hotel and let them know we would be checking in after 11pm and that was no problem. The lobby is beautiful and so are the rooms.

What a treat. booked on hotel tonight for a really good deal. was so pleasantly surprised. Bathroom was quite luxurious featuring freshly polished brass fixtures and a granite slab in the shower that great to stand on. AC was ice cold, and staff was super friendly.

I stay here every time I need a hotel in the city! It’s a beautiful hotel in a prime location with a great staff. The general manager David is so helpful and wonderful. The rooms are very clean and have pretty decor. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

David Brown, the GM is one of the best! He definitely makes the stay at the Allen Hotel pleasant. The location is great! Having a balcony is perfect for a summer or fall visit to NYC.

Stayed here the past couple of nights and it was great. Alzura was extremely professional and courteous and made sure we were taken care of the entire stay. She deserves a raise, overall everything was great.

If you are a foodie traveler, this hotel is just for your New York Trip! Most of famous restaurants are near here. Moreover the service during my staying was ok, but only one employee was not polite....

The manager and staff are so helpful. I usually book this hotel every few months when my partner visits and it’s always a great time the staff are always available for questions and when I was having issues with my hotel room the manager Lyza was easily available and sorted out the problem without fuss.

Had a great stay at the Allen Hotel! I booked the room through HotelTonight who made a mistake but the manager David saved the day! Will be back.

Penthouse Terrace is amazing, views of everything and so comfortable. Design is very cool and unique. The staff was the best part, everyone was lovely, accommodating and patient ❤

Great small hotel, good price and location. Near several subway lines. Clean, quiet, and friendly staff. Would be happy to use again.

My friends and I had an amazing time staying at the Allen hotel. They upgraded our room for free and the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Genny (working the front desk when we checked in) made us feel so taken care of and had a great attitude! Next time I’m in the city, I’ll be back to stay here!

Awesome location great amenities and friendly helpful desk staff make for a great work trip. Enjoyed seeing two room types, as they were sold out at different intervals, understandably based on my experience that matched other reviewers whom noted cleanliness and upscale vibe.
Has key elevator for safety and is located perfectly for many directional choices of activity, close to so many restaurants and lower east side attractions, it’s an easy top choice.

The Allen was such a gem to find, and made the trip that little extra bit amazing. Jenny at the front desk (and all the other staff) were so lovely and made me feel very welcomed. Absolutely would stay again

We were very surprised at how clean everything was from top to bottom.
Genesis was extremely helpful and polite. She should be Manager..she went out of her way to make sure that our vacation was perfect. She was super knowledgeable about the city and guided us in the right direction. She also told us where we find good restaurants and shopping.
I would love to have her as a manager.

Nothing but food things to say about my one night stay here. Angel and Genesis are star examples of customer service. I will be returning on my next trip back to NYC.

Every staff member was extremely friendly! The entire hotel is brightly lit, and a clean scent wafts through the entire building. The location was also excellent - only a 10 minute ride to Brooklyn, 5 min walk to Chinatown, and 10 minute walk to tourist hotspots like Prince St Pizza. They also have a gym, sauna, and steam room. Most rooms are outfitted with a balcony. All in all, amazing value for the buck when visiting NY.

The Room was fantastic. Lovely big king size bed. Tv had loads of treat channels. Aircon was great especially as it was 30 degree heat outside. The view from the balcony was fantastic and the location was perfect. Staff where also very friendly despite other reviews saying to the contrary. Couldn't fault it. Great stay. :-)
