My favorite bookstore. Great selection, wonderful service, and way better prices than a big chain store. I go regularly, and the owner is sweet and accommodating every time. Highly recommend!

The Locust Valley Bookstore is a unique icon in Locust Valley, where customer service, huge selections of varied book options and, where the wonderful people who work there, have actually read many of the books! You’re not going to find that on Amazon or at Barnes and Noble, where the high school kid is checking you out! And…. they gift wrap and they ship! We are so very lucky to have this shoppe in our town!

Locust Valley Bookstore is such a cute place with a surprisingly large selection!! I went in looking to find books that I’ve been wanting to purchase and to find some new ones I’ve never heard of and they succeeded! There was a huge selection of current-bestsellers to older or lesser-known classics to choose from and everything was priced really affordable!
I will definitely be back soon!

A delightful small, local bookstore in the quaint Village of Locust Valley.

Friendly, best books from the latest and greatest to a few old keepers, but the rotation of items is great, and lots of fun other gifty stuff, too, like candles and such. Great vibe, a throw back to when bookstores felt mellow and lackadaisical but without all the dust and curmudgeons.
