The Bainbridge House Bed & Breakfast

Wonderful wonderful wonderful stay! You must stay here if passing by the area. Jeff and Amy are great hosts and the bnb is super cozy with all the warmth, decor and luxuries you could ask for. Also we had an incredible breakfast in the morning. Great value for money!

On a recent fall trip had the extreme pleasure of staying at The Bainbridge House. Such an enjoyable experience. A true highlight of the trip. Great breakfast, enjoyable conversation with both guests and owners. If you are looking for a memorable experience this is the place. There are cabins available as well.

We stayed in one of the cabins. It had everything we needed. Amy even stocked half and half in the refrigerator for our coffee in the morning. We ordered breakfast, and it arrived right on time in a picnic basket. It was beautifully put together, with everything we needed. I will definitely stay here again!

Staying at the Bainbridge House Bed and Breakfast was an incredible experience. My family and I stayed in the main house. We felt so welcomed, the rooms were perfect, and the breakfast every morning was stellar! We will definitely be back :-) Amy, Jeff, and Susanna were wonderful!

We absolutely loved this place! We went just before Christmas and everything far exceeded our expectations. The house was beautifully decorated, in addition to the gorgeous antiques and other lovely furnishings. Our room was great... cozy and comfortable. The house, built in the 1830s, has been wonderfully restored and is well-maintained. Everything about it was charming, from the Clue themed rooms to the well-stocked tea/coffee room, complete with complimentary cookies! But the best part of the much-too-short visit was talking with Amy and Jeffrey, the delightful innkeepers. Amy makes an awesome breakfast, one of which we enjoyed on a snowy morning beside a roaring fire that Jeffrey so graciously started for us. We so enjoyed our time there that it was quite difficult to leave!

Awesome location, very scenic, quiet and cozy little cabin. I HIGHLY recommend this B&B to anyone in the area. The owners are so nice and the extra touches they put into the cabins and service are top notch. Not a bad word I can say about this place.

From beginning to end Amy and Jeff were fantastic. Cabins are so fun and stylish.

The breakfast is the BEST we have ever had. The breakfast is worth $45/person everyday.

Of the dozens of places we have stayed in Upstate NY, not one compares to what Amy&Jeff do St Bainbridge House B&B.

Phenomenal! My husband and I had never stayed at a bed and breakfast before and I have to say if you have any reservations whatsoever about staying at 1 put them aside and stay here! Amy and Jeff are the most hospitable welcoming people. The rooms were very comfortable we stayed in the green room and the Scarlet room, one of the best beds I ever slept on. It has some of the best views in the area we really enjoyed sitting on the porch out front and taking in the scenery. Amy is also an amazing cook the breakfast was great and the room off the dining room that had snacks and water was a nice touch. Jeff is such a hard worker it was really interesting to talk to him about the remodeling he's done on the house and the cabins. By the time you leave you feel like their family and we will definitely be staying there in the future

We spent 4 days and nights with hosts Jeff and Amy at the end of July and had the best experience possible. The house is chock full of fun Victorian stuff, but also, their theme to use the game of Clue is an extra-fun bonus! I can imagine the fun if you had a group that took up the whole place and you played the game along with your breakfasts. Which, by the way, couldn't be tastier - they are cooked to order, fresh, scrumptious and generous portions. In addition, they provided cookies and coffee and other treats for other times of the day. The bed was super comfy and the 3/4 bathroom was fine. The air conditioner kept us cool. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. I highly recommend it!
It isn't right in town, so you can't walk to businesses, but it's only a couple of miles out, between two towns. I didn't go into the cabins, as they were occupied - we stayed in the main house.

This B&B was my husband and I first B&B we have ever stayed at and we are overly satisfied with the stay! The Ms. Scarlet room was very nice and the food was amazing. We loved the Clue theme and the decor in the house. There is no doubt we will be back again. The view is so peaceful. Thank you Amy and Jeff for a splendid time!

My husband Bob and I just spent a lovely time here at the Bainbridge House. We actually live in Bainbridge, but wanted to have a little escape and change of atmosphere for our Valentine's celebration, so we booked the Scarlet Room for the night. What a wonderful place. Amy & Jeff are warm and welcoming hosts, and the breakfast was outstanding!! We have decided that we want to go back many times when we just want a little escape from the everyday and spend a night in each room. Thanks again, Jeff & Amy, for a wonderful time! Hope to see you again soon.

What a find! This gem is not only cute & well maintained, but the owners are the sweetest! Oh, and breakfast is delicious. We stayed in the themed cottage, super fun and the amenities were great (stocked with snacks, bottled water, & microwave popcorn). We didn't plan to use the outdoor space, but next time we might bring some food along to BBQ or at least to make s'mores in the firepit. Can't wait to return!

I love going to bed and breakfasts, and this is one of the best I have been to. My boyfriend and I stood in one of their new cabins, which are just adorable. The cabin was spotless, everything was new and beautiful, the owners are sweet, kind and extremely accommodating. The best part was the breakfast... there was a different menu each day in which you can choose from. Since we were in a cabin, we told them a time and they delivered our breakfast to us in a cute picnic basket. It was DELICIOUS! We had blueberry french toast and a skillet with sausage, potatoes, veggies, cheese and eggs. Plus, fresh fruit, orange juice, biscuits, and pastries, all homemade! The cabins even have a cute porch and an outside grill. If you go, be sure to also go to the Awestuck cider house that is close by. It’s awesome; great atmosphere, food and cider!

Amy n Jeff are the nicest, friendliest, most genuine hosts! Rooms are full of antiques and fun decorations. Every bedroom has a private bath

And the breakfast choices are amazing! Best breakfast I’ve ever had in a Bnb!! We had trouble leaving!!

The quintessential bed and breakfast. We stay there any time we’re in the area, and each time we enjoy the highly creative seasonal decorations, the amazing country breakfast and chatting with the hosts. Jeff and Amy are history buffs and antique collectors and have a wealth of stories about the historic house and construction advice to share. We’re all ears since we’re looking to move to the country.

Had a fabulous week at The Bainbridge House! The weather was awesome. Loved "Miss Peacock's" room... Amy turned out wonderful meals & Jeffrey had interesting adventures for me to join in while I was there! Thank you both for a wonderful time & I will definitely be back again soon!!

Very welcoming and very helpful hosts! Such cute little cabins it has all you need! I highly recommend staying here. Plenty of good food and fun things to do in the area. Absolutely loved the experience and we will definitely be back!

Hugely popular and i highly recommend this place. The couple arw so sweet and warm. Food was awesome and each cabin is - the wizard of oz themed ". Property is well kept and clean. Elegant breakfast and beautiful area. I am so glad i stayed here.

There is a reason they are 5 stars, because it is well deserved. the food and company is of the highest quality, I hadn't typically used a Bed and Breakfast in the past but this changes my mind. The breakfast was to die for and the grounds are very interesting as well.

The owners are wonderful, hard working, sensitive, and thoughtful people! The room is very comfortable and clean. They made us feel welcomed and took us in as friends. I would love to stay longer next time and spend more time enjoying the surroundings.
