AMAZING!!
So 2 days ago I received a call from Jeff letting me know that my grandmothers ring that she had left me after her passing was ready to be picked up. Like a kid on Christmas I was filled with excitement . I couldn’t wait to get there. My husband and daughter came with me as they were just as invested and also excited. We were greeted by his wife with a warm smile.. and yes I could tell despite her mask 🙂…and kind words. Jeff met us at the counter. Remembering their conversation the last time we were there, he asked my daughter about school and he and my husband chatted briefly about work.. all the while the anticipation building. As he pulled the ring from its envelope he seemed to be just as excited as he knows my family and the history behind this ring. He slipped the heirloom on my finger and overwhelmed with emotion I began to cry. It was Beautiful! Exceptional! Stunning! I couldn’t express my appreciation to him more as he came from around the counter gave me a hug and shook my husband hand. I walked out of there able to wear my grandmothers ring keeping her close to me always. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to Jeff and his family at Cowan’s who not only do beautiful work but are invested in what they do. I am forever thankful!

The staff is so kind and knowledgeable about their craft, you can really feel the passion and love that's gone into this family owned business. Super quick turnaround on small repairs. My ring has never looked better!

Recently had rings reset, the amount of time taken to make sure they were the right fit was amazing I am so pleased how beautiful, and how perfect the rings are! I wanted to get my engagement and wedding rings reset for our 25th wedding anniversary, but could not trust this special project to just anyone! When researching jewelers, I saw that Cowans had over one hundred five star reviews. I figured I could at least go in for a consultation! When my husband and I walked into Cowans we were warmly welcomed by the owners, Jeff and Denise. Jeff spent a lot of time listening
to what I wanted, showing me a variety of options and giving me his professional insight into how I could get the exact result I was looking for. I left there feeling completely confident that Jeff would bring my vision to life ... He kept me abreast of the entire process along the way. Jeff created a custom wedding band
for me and upon completion had me come in to be sure it was exactly what I wanted before continuing on with the setting for my engagement ring .
I went to pick up the completed project yesterday and it FAR EXCEEDED my expectations! If I could give Cowans 10 stars I would! Jeff and Denise are experts in their field and are wonderful people- they are warm, friendly and professional- My husband and I are now customers for life!! I went to Cowan’s jewelers to sell my jewelry and I was treated with respect and care. The jeweler was very knowledgeable and caring. He explained everything to me about the process of selling my jewelry and even went above and beyond making sure that my needs were met. He and his wife were very pleasant and patient with me and made sure that I was truly happy. I highly recommend this jewelry store for all your jewelry needs . I will definitely be returning there in the future for all my jewelry needs. I absolutely loved my experience there!! It was a true Joy!!

The stone in my fiancée's engagement ring, which once belonged to my great grandmother, was loose. We just moved to the area and given the unique history of the ring, it took me a while to find a place I felt comfortable with.

After doing a bit of research, I found Cowan's -- a family business that has been around for decades and had excellent Google reviews.

Jeff and Denise are honest and lovely people. They are welcoming and warm, make you feel right at home, and give a lot of themselves to their customers, who they come to know on a first name basis.

I brought the ring in shortly before closing time, but they stayed with me after hours, getting to know me and the significance of the ring, and explaining the work to be done.

As the other reviews note, Jeff is deeply knowledgeable, dedicated, and detail-oriented. He really does take the time with each customer to ensure he does right by them. For me, that meant walking me through the intricate details of the ring, the kind of work required, and the cost (the prices are more than fair).

I really cannot recommend Cowan's highly enough.

Me and my fiance had the best experience with a jeweler ever this weekend at cowans. Jeff and his wife Denise were so helpful and friendly and were honest and upfront. They make sure they give every customer equal time and service and are very fair. If you have gold to sell or jewelry to buy this needs to be your place. We drove about 50 min and past many jeweler's to come here. Also very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of meeting the owners and staff at Cowan’s Jewelers in New Windsor. I had the best customer experience I’ve had in many years. Everyone was knowledgeable and made me feel I was the most important customer they had. I had a great time I didn’t want to leave. Anyone who needs fine jewelry, or watch batteries replaced or have questions regarding selling gold - this is when you should go. You will get honest answers great prices and amazing customer service.

This is a true example of good business. The owner and his wife are thoughtful and very experienced. I got my wedding band here, there are plenty of options. 10/10 recommend visiting here for all the jewelry you need.

Jeff and Denise will always take time to talk to you. I came in with a picture of a ring and no other information and Jeff got back to me by the end of the next day with a perfect match on an engagement ring. He didn't waste any time, and delivered quality.

They offer free cleaning on all your jewelry for life. I don't know the repair policy but when my necklace broke they immediately repaired and called it courtesy.

They offer superior knowledge, superior skill, professionalism, and expert service.

We have been using Cowans for over 20 years and will go to no one else. The quality of their merchandise is top notch, the prices are so reasonable, but the nicest thing is the service. They treat you better than family. Don’t go anywhere else. This is the place you want to purchase your jewelry from. We moved to SC but come back here any time we need something or to have our rings inspected and cleaned that’s how good they are.

Love love love this store. I came in with two rings, one being my fiances grandmothers, to be resized and cleaned. And they look brand new! They are beautiful and I cannot wait to wear them on my wedding day. I've never gone into a jeweler before and felt like family. The team is so welcoming and comforting that I knew my rings were in good hands. I'll only be visiting Cowan's in the future.

Wow, Jeff and his team are incredible. I dont usually write reviews but they treated my mom, older sister, and I like part of the family. The whole staff came up to us and talked with us for hours. We truly felt special. Jeff and his wife are genuine and trustworthy. They care about the people who enter their store and care so much to make each and every customer happy. I even saw a woman walk in in tears hugging jeff thanking him for an amazing experience she had there. There was a little wait and Jeff checked on us every few minutes to make sure we were comfortable and assured us someone was working on helping us. He even walked us out to our cars and shook our hands to thank us for our business. There is a reason they have been in business for so long! Thank you Jeff and your amazing team!

I love Cowan’s. This is family business and you see that immediately when you walk in. There are family photos on the wall, a veteran’s hat, and a plaque declaring Cowan’s a historic business.

My fiance brought my ring, a family heirloom, here for some work. Jeff and Denise are extremely friendly and remembered details about me that he had told them days before. They really do make you feel like you’re part of the family. Jeff takes his time with the customers and is a true master of his craft. And like any great craftsman, he is in high demand! I've never seen a jewelry store so busy, and everyone was there to talk to Jeff. You won't regret waiting your turn and listening to the depths of his knowledge.
