I was looking for something new for lunch and my wife & I stopped into Margie's... we were not disappointed!

It's so unassuming from the outside but the bar area was very nice and the dining room, although maybe a little small, was very clean nice for a lunch spot.

We were greeted with a smile from Mary, who was excellent by the way! We asked for some recommendations as it was our first time here even though we've lived not far for nearly 15yrs. She ran through some suggestions and we both decided on the Hot Roast Beef sandwich with fries (my wife a sm & me the lg, both sandwich & fries covered in gravy).

I can honestly say that the roast beef might be the best I've ever had! No joke, the beef literally melted in your mouth it was so good! Portions were great. We split some Cajun fried pickles too... yum!

Great experience and we will definitely be back! 👍

..... well, I went back yesterday with some friends and the food was amazing! Service was great. I encourage people to check it out! A few friends got the roast beef sandwich and I got the medium fish fry... YUM!

Excellent place to eat and drink. The owner remembers you. She always greets you with a smile. The atmosphere is small and cozy very inviting. The food is EXCELLENT!! I had the weck and wings...OMG!! The sandwich can truly rival the Great Charlie the butcher!! The portions are ridicules !! The amount of meat on a 6oz is large! The 12 Oz is crazy large just get an extra bun and you have 2 large sandwiches. GO there and eat you will NOT be Disappointed!!

Yesterday was our first visit to this establishment. We were greeted with warm smiles and hellos upon entering, which is always a nice way to start It was a Sunday afternoon, but with the Bills game he being a late one, there were seats at the bar, lucky for us! The pepper stuffed chicken quesadilla was SO good! We shared that, and a burger. The burger was cooked perfectly with delicious caramelized little bits around the edges! We will definitely be back!!

Neighborhood bar and dining room. Had beef on Kimmel weck/hot wing combo. Good food, not real busy for a Thursday night. Would go again.

The broiled fish Cajun style was very good. Sides were also good and unbelievably quick service!

I used to go here years ago for the fish fry. It was the best around Buffalo, in my opinion, and I've had them from pretty much every reputable fish fry joint. Then, they closed for a while, sadly. They opened back up not long ago, and it was my first opportunity to try it again since reopening. It's is just as good as it was before it closed. HUGE fresh filets, and wonderfully flaky. The batter is excellent, also. The sides are made with mayo, and are likewise, excellent! If you're a fish fry connoisseur, you can't pass this place up!

I got the large fish fry. So good along with the service. A very good reason why I have been going here for 25+ years. The tradition continues.

Danielle….you should be very proud of yourself. The food is always top notch. Our waitress today (7/21) was absolutely over the top. Her service and personality was beyond awesome. Love you. Still miss you at the 33 tho lol.

Clean nice place, shows me that my food is prepared in a food safety environment.

Without a doubt the best fish fry in western NY. Fishfry was cooked perfectly and the sides were also delicious. French fries were also done to perfection.
I ordered a large and I was amazed at how big it actually was, couldn't eat it all in one sitting.

Food was excellent! Definitely will make this a regular place to eat & have a few cocktails 🥰

The chicken wings are second to none, and honestly the rest of the food is really good. Prices are amazing and very fair. A must stop. Very busy on chicken wing night but totally worth it.

Walked in after my grandson's hockey game and even though it was after 9pm, the dining room is usually closed, but they came out to let us know we could sit in the dining area since the bar was full and very loud.

We had fish fries, wings and my friend got the pizza burger it looked great and he said it was a 2 thumbs up.

Wife had a fish fry and I ordered the chicken with hit pepper sandwich. Food was amazing just like when I used to go there when I was a kid. Wife says it's the BEST FISH FRY around!

Stopped in as we have had take out from here for fish and it was amazing..My son ordered a fish fry and I ordered a chicken ceasar wrap. Server was attentive and spot on with service... again amazing food and would like to try their wings next time...Great job!!

We go there every Tuesday for trivia night and Mary always takes great care of us. The portions are huge, the prices are more than fair, & the food is always fantastic!
They feature different specials each week, which I look forward to sampling every Tuesday, although the wings are second to none & tough to pass up.
