Jenny Lee Country Store

This place was open late for being in a small town in rural southern tier. It's very cool looking with a very country theme. You do have to pick your own bottled beverages out of the cooler but they do have alcohol that is a plus. Their coffee is good but we ended up having to use the staff bathroom because the owner and his friend were playing Cornhole in the gin mill area where the guest bathrooms were. They have a very interesting menu with decent prices.

The garlic butter broiled fish was outstanding.. fries were crispy and hot..
Great dinner.
Homemade cheese cake with raspberry drizzle was very good.
Asked for a sample of the soup, and that's what I got. Lol..
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.. great experience and a fun night out..def going back. Great job....

Stumbled across a little jem. The omelets were delicious and the staff were incredibly friendly. New owners a month ago so open Monday now!

I almost always have a great time here. The pizza is slightly inconsistent. It really depends on who is making it but it is always delicious. The service can vary a tad depending on who is there, but generally speaking, you will always have a great person helping you.

Shortly before the pandemic, the original owners remodeled the entire other half of the store to create the feed mill section and the entire atmosphere and ambience. The aesthetic is beautiful. I absolutely love eating up there with my family. The other half of the building is still an old style walk-in sit down diner/bar but it is always a great place to be no matter what side you're on.

We stopped here for lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon. We weren't able to sit in the dining room because it wasn't open for the day yet, but there was still seating available in the side-area, so we ordered off the menu. It's a neat little place with a fairly simple menu--but the service was great, the food was very good, and prices were good too. We ordered everything from pizza and wings to beef on weck, and hot roast beef sandwich, sweet potato fries... It was all fresh, hot and delicious. Will definitely go there again.

Stopped in at 8 to get pizza they close at 9, they still took our order! We ordered a white pizza and a Hawaiian pizza both were so delicious!!! Thank you again!!!

The hubby and I stopped here last night on our way to Ellicottville. The establishment is cute and very down-to-earth. I had ordered a drink that they didn't know how to make so I said "just give me a vodka-cran with seltzer, that's fine."

The bartender was nice enough to look up what I originally asked for and made me that, to my surprise.

My fish fry was good, especially the coleslaw. My husband enjoyed his burger.

We used to go to old school Pascarellas but it closed last spring. We were pleasantly surprised by the beef on weck/wing combo. Huge portions, served with waffle fries. The staff was wonderful. I inadvertently left my debit card behind but they safely stored it away until I came back, hoping it was there. Prices were extremely reasonable.

Went to dinner at the Feed Mill with family while in town. Had their Friday fish fry w/ beer battered crust - Awesome! Chose coleslaw and cottage cheese for sides - also Awesome. The ambience is so inviting; no details are missed even the rest rooms. Staff are super friendly; the place is well organized and very clean. Can't wait to go again.

Owners are nice people.. Linda and Lisa are 2 if the best cooks I've ever had... The waitresses have all been super nice.. Last day of July was a sad one, it was last day for owners. New owners took over but I haven t been back yet..

So glad this place opened. The fish fry is great. We haven't had one dish that wasn't good. The atmosphere is nice as well, they did a great job on the renovations. If you are looking for a great place to eat I highly recommend and you don't have to go far.

My first time here for dinner. Loved the atmosphere, Paul's presentation was perfect, the service was great, and the food, fish dinners were great, Prime Rib, the best I've ever had. Thank you Paul and Linda for a great Mothers Day dinner.

Jenny Lee's is one of my Favorite places to eat you will never leave hungry. They always have amazing specials. I look forward to every minute up there. Everyone is super friendly and more then happy to over exceed your needs and wants. The prices and portion sizes will leave you speechless and stuffed! Thank you for you charm and great hospitality!

I read some of the reviews and felt a few should have been disputed by the restaurant owner. When reviewing an establishment we are to rate it based on;
*location/accessibility, this establishment is on a main road. Parking is limited, the road is a steep hill, so if you are physically handicap or have limited mobility please bring someone who can help you in and out of your vehicle or call the establishment to order and ask them to bring your order to your vehicle. There is a police station across the street so the area has very little crime. Statistics show Cattaraugus town is one of the safest places to live in WNY. So if you get hungry after dark, go eat. The police do an amazing job keeping this towns safe title.
*Cleanliness, This establishment is clean. Personally I've never seen anything that would make me think "ew". Their Cleanliness (staff and establishment) definitely meets NYS safety and health protocol. Obviously I have no idea how clean restricted areas are, but customer use areas are definitely within state code.
* Prices, when compared to the areas average cost per product this establishment is within the cost bracket, which makes their price average.
* Item quality and availability, obviously sometimes things are good and sell out. Trying to get a fish fry on a Friday is typically limited in most establishments that offer a great fish fry. This place is no different in that aspect. Some prepared food items are of excellent quality, some average but I've never had an issue in this area. My daughter lives a few houses down from this place, she orders from here weekly and she can't get enough of their food. When she takes vacations, I dog sit for her and I then resort to ordering 3 meals a day and I cant complain. Great food, no mess, no dishes to wash its like I'm on vacation too. Mistakes happen and when they do the establishment verifies the mistake and will quickly rectify the problem being more than fair about it. This makes them an honest establishment in my opinion.
* Staff (Cleanliness, hospitality, communication and ability to perform their assigned tasks), I personally found the staff to be above average in this manner. Taking in to consideration business, and situations out of their control I'd have to say they do above average.
* Other, special offers or accommodations: none that I'm aware of. Suggestions: longer hours would be nice or delivery but considering this establishment is the only one in the general area, that might cause unnecessary stress and I understand that.
* Conclusion and personal experience or opinion, This establishment is on rt 353. If you dont reside in the town of Cattaraugus then you most likely have to travel on 353 to get to this location.
I'm not a fan of route 353. I swear after 8pm everyone drives 20 in a 30, 40 in a 55, or 80 in a 45 with high beams on while tailgating or breaking until you tailgate them.
It's a safety issue for many reasons. So my only off topic conclusion would be to drive safely. Be vigilant. Install a dash cam to verify road games played after dark. Just be safe on that road. If you do witnesses these behaviors please provide a report to the police so they can start a pattern board to rectify these issues.
Jenny Lee Feedmill is truly a breathe of fresh air. I love good people because they contribute to a society that isn't always fair nor kind. These people are. Inhope you give them a try so you can see why I made this particular review as detailed as possible.

I was in town for the week and had several excellent meals. You should definitely go to the adjacent Jenny Lee restaurant it is beautiful (connected to the diner). I had the lunch special each of the days and they were all excellent. In particular, the chicken parm was one of the best I have ever had. Desserts and milk shakes are strong. Ice tea is great. Overall, I loved going here and would eat here frequently if I lived in the area. Sitting at the bar provides the full experience. And again, definitely check out the new Jenny Lee restaurant. It is NYC level of nice. Beautiful reclaimed woods, etc. Thank for all the great meals!!!!

Beautiful place in the small, historic village of Cattaraugus. Food is great and a nice selection of domestic and craft brews.
Fish fries on Friday and Saturday nights are exceptional, as well as their Prime rib on Saturdays!
Great place to visit when the restrictions lift! Great for a bike trip.
Also great for take out in the mean time!!
