A lovely building and well-appointed room that made our weekend feel special.

We would return here to a lake side room, as I can't imagine the street side rooms (which do look nice) being nearly as magical.

A mid-weekend service to our room while we were hiking was unexpected but welcomed, but we would have not left out as much of a mess had we known.

We have preference for a firmer mattress, as the king was a bit mushy for us, but that didn't stop us from sleeping like rocks after a long day hike.

Bottom line is that we would return, and recommend to others.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay at The Haus. The rooms were super clean and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable including extra blankets, pillows and even ear plugs! The best part about The Haus is the central location to everything in town. We never needed our car but got to explore every bit of Main Street. Parking rules were a little confusing to understand at first but once we found the parking lot nearby we were all set for the weekend. Great place and great stay!

They were so accommodating and the place was beautiful. I want to stay again so soon.

Right on the strip and even the front rooms have a partial lake view.

Perfect summer place to stay for walking around downtown, and enjoying the restaurants and shopping. Suite 4 had a private balcony with lake and village views. Large space inside, really felt like staying in your own private condo on the lake. Kitchen, bath, and Wi-Fi were all great. Thanks again!

These rooms are enormous, comfortable, and beautifully designed. I never appreciated the value of having such a large relaxing space after a long day of Adirondack adventuring until this past trip. The hotel is located right in the middle of LP, for easy access to the best shopping and restaurant and there is an adjacent lakeside park with beautiful views of the local scenery. Housekeeping is friendly and conscientious, and management was helpful and accommodating. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

We visited The Haus the last weekend of April to celebrate our anniversary and it was wonderful! The room was just as pictured - very clean and exactly what we were hoping for. Yuliia was so welcoming and super helpful during our stay. Definitely recommend!!

Everything was as advertised and then some. I went with my wife and our six month old (end of Oct). We stayed in suite 9 (which mentions very clearly some noise on account of the restaurant upstairs), but because it was more quiet this time of year there was hardly any foot traffic noise whatsoever. Yuliia was extremely responsive and helpful and I have no doubt that if we had run into any issues they would've been dealt with immediately. We travel up to LP a few times of year and typically stay in an AirBnB or other hotels, but I'm very glad we tried out the Haus. Can't way to go back and try one of the other awesome looking suites! Highly recommend to any and all, can't beat the amenities and central location.

The Haus in Lake Placid is amazing. From its well-appointed kitchen to its comfortable bed to its attentive staff, The Haus enhanced our visit to Lake Placid. The view over Mirror Lake is one we will always remember. Highly recommend!

The Haus is our home away from home in Lake Placid. The rooms and views are beautiful, service is excellent, and location unbeatable. We've stayed here for a luxury end to a backpacking vacation, for special occasions, and plan to visit again this fall. Highly recommend the Haus at LP!

This is our third stay at The Haus in the last year and it never disappoints!! This is our favorite home away from home. For the price of a standard hotel room, we get an entire apartment to ourselves. To be a fair reviewer, I feel that I should mention that yes, there are stairs to get to your room because you're staying above main street - which is awesome. It's so fun to go shopping, get lunch and then sneak back into this gem. There is no parking lot - which can make loading and unloading a bit of a pain but you get a parking pass that allows you to park in a lot just a bit aways from the hotel. To be honest, once the car is unpacked and parked we never think about it again until we leave because we are so in the middle of things that we don't need a car for anything. If you're looking for room service and a pool - this isn't the place for you. If you're looking for a romantic retreat with great amenities and an amazing view, book now. The only recommendation that I would make to the owners is - leave some coffee in the room. I never remember to pack it!! Good thing for me, I can find about five different coffee shops within 30 seconds from the front door. Will be back again in a few months.

We stayed in Suite 9 on 7/18-7/20 following an intense search for a last minute weekend get-away. We have been to Lake Placid numerous times in the winter however never got to enjoy its beauty during the summer months. It was a fantastic stay. My wife and I brought our 15 month to The Haus and were extremely excited for this stay. From the moment I booked the reservation we were greeted with an extremely friendly voice on the other side of the line. She answered any and all questions. During COVID 19, I would have to imagine it's harder to provide A+ customer service with the fact that many establishments are using a hands off approach. However The Haus provided that A+ approach regardless. They were completely transparent and set extremely detailed expectations. They sanitized the rooms and left notes to make it easy to best enjoy our stay without having to jump through hoops to check in. The room itself? Fantastic!! I would say that the rates for this suite is comparable to a decent rated hotel room however your getting 3-4X the space. We have a toddler that struggles with hotel rooms due to a lack of space. It's also harder for her to nap when sharing one room. This suite gave us all the room we would ever need. Our daughter also napped fantastic as she had her own quiet space away from us to rest. She also had all the room in the world to run around and explore making it that much more enjoyable for her mom and dad. Location?? Walk outside and your about 20 yards to the lake. It was about a 5 minute walk to the public beach as well. Super easy. I parked upon arrival and didn't need my vehicle until it was time to checkout. I was very happy with this stay. We had a minor self inflicted issue where we locked the key in the room. We caused this but needed customer assistance during non-business hours. They answered our call immediately with the assistance needed to get our vacation moving forward again! We will be using The Haus again for future vacations, no doubt about it

Excellent service from the owner. He gave the best tour I have ever received while staying at a hotel. The rooms are impeccably clean, well designed, and with all cooking amenities one could want. A nice touch was the qtips and sewing needles. Also with a fireplace in the living room with a fold out sofa so that you can sleep by the fire. The view is got to be one of the best on Mirror Lake. If you want to stay on Mirror Lake, and it is within your budget I would book it.

Our stay at The Haus was amazing. Very stylish room and a porch with a stunning view of Mirror Lake. The blackout curtains were a pleasant surprise as we were able to sleep in without disturbance from the beautiful floor to ceiling windows. Took us a minute to figure out the AC unit in the window but we’re able to cool down our room to a comfortable temperature. We enjoyed the booklet of restaurant and hiking recommendations and did not mind the contactless check in/check out during COVID. Overall a very pleasant stay, will definitely return to The Haus during our next trip. I believe it is the only modern style hotel in Lake Placid

Perfection location in walking distance to everything. Parking comes with your stay, which is a huge lifesaver. We had the partial lake view room, and loved it. The lake on one side, the bustling street life on the other. Overall, a pleasant relaxing weekend. So glad we chose it here.

extremely great experience during COVID
the staff left our keys and our information to the room on the door and in the room, it was spotless- and i go out of my way to wipe off counters and door handles and the wipes i used where clean and still white- so they did a good job with the cleaning. We also accidently took home our parking pass and they where super nice about letting me send it to them in the mail without a charge. Best place to stay- Will be going back- amazing views felt like a huge place for the price as well- Thank you!

This place is amazing. If you haven't stayed at a boutique hotel you should. Rooms are giant. You can bring for family for the same price as a small hotel. Once your inside you feel like your in an older but modern room. So cozy and close to everything.

Booked suite 9 for the Summit Lacrosse tourney, room was perfect for what we needed. Great location in middle of the strip, walk out the door and you are steps away from the amphitheater plaza and sitting lakeside. Parking wasn’t too bad, you get a permit to park in the yearly spots and I typically parked on Hayes which was across street and up hill from hotel.

The Haus is so different than any other "hotel" in Lake Placid. Each room is unique and charming. The owners have great attention to detail and are very pleasant and hospitable. The Haus is right in the middle of town, on the lake side of the street. Everything is walking distance. Parking is limited to the use of the municipal lots scattered around town, but it's included in the price. We will be back with friends!

My husband and I stayed here last week and had a wonderful time. It is perfectly located in the heart of town, an easy to walk to all the restaurants and shops. Our room was exceptionally clean. Everything was provided that we could’ve needed. Highly recommend staying here!!

Beautiful room. Lots of space. Probably the best hotel room I have ever stayed in. Almost felt like being home. Location is great, right in the center of town. View from private balcony was breathtaking. Would stay here a million times over.
