The food is the best in the northeast, get off exit 30, and go straight....you will love me forever for this advice! Make sure you order the calamari, Ceasar salad is to die for! The owner comes by to make sure you're happy, and the Chloe has to be one of the top five bartenders within the three counties! So come for the food, stay for the drinks!

I was traveling through on business when I decided to stop by the WG from a recommendation from a friend. I got there at 3pm as they were closed to set up for dinner. I started to walk away when the owner sat me down. I'm a Lover of tripe and was told this is the place for it. I was amazed at the taste of the tripe, best I've ever had including my own. The chef was frying up Lamb chops for another customer and gave me a chop to sample. This was a terrific day for food, ambiance and service. I felt like I was with family, Rocco sat with me and we chatted about commonalities. Some of the reviews I read are so ridiculous!! People complaining about getting charged for extra tomatoes and onions, etc. Go to the grocery store!!! Prices are high for EVERYONE!!! I'm sure this place pays for their produce and other products. I'm also 100% sure that they use quality ingredients, I know I tasted them and I was in the business for 36 years. If you haven't been here, you're missing out.

Very nice little restaurant, offering some good quality food. Pricing is high on some menu items. IE: $50 for a steak and $35 for pork chops. But the taste and presentation is very good. In the warmer weather, you can dine outside on the edge of the canal or eat inside. I highly recommend you check this restaurant out. The restaurant also has a small bar area where you can enjoy your favorite adult beverages. While you're there, make sure to shop Gems along the Mohawk store. And take the boat tour. Make sure you check the website before going to ensure they will be open when you arrive. The restaurant has limited hours and changes depending on the day.

A very nice restaurant that is right off I-90. Large portions, fast service and a very good menu - for light bites or a full dinner. A nice view overlooking the river as well. The menu has appetizers, pastas, burgers, steaks, and seafood.

As a former employee of this restaurant, working for Rocky Fiato was amazing. He is a genuine boss. He treated everyone equally. Working with him was like working with family. He always had your back, and he would help you if you were falling behind.

Now, the food was absolutely amazing. My favorite dish was the mushroom bluecheese burger. Every time I go there, that's what I would get.

The service was always great, too. Everyone worked well together. No issues at all.

Rocky, if you are reading this, I miss you, bud. I will come up to visit. I'm in virginia, no longer in New York.

Delicious food. I've never seen scallops so big! The shrimp were also huge too. I love that it's right on the river. Great atmosphere and good service. We had a group of 10 of us without a reservation. We experienced Quick Service none the less. And the waitress let us do Separate Checks.

Stopped by for lunch on the way home from Syracuse. Beautiful views of the water from inside. Fresh fish sanwich was great. French fries presented in stainless steel basket. Good sized portions. Food ooked better and tasted better than the picture shows. Glad we stopped in.

The eclectic store next door had great collection of jewelry boxes and local gems.

Fantastic surprise for our stop for the night. Food was great and the garlic bread was stellar. Felt like half the locals in town were there on a Wednesday night. Chef/Owner walked the floor and greeted/thanked all the tables for coming out. Big portions of homemade Italian food. Great place.

Wow! Just blown away! May be the best restaurant I’ve eaten in my lifetime. The special menu was very creative and not stale at all. Such a wide variety of exotic proteins and fishes. Their Broiled Sea Scallop dish just shows the chef’s deep deep creativity. Absolutely delicious! You would think you’re eating at an Italian restaurant in a basement from NYC. Very clean and organized. The staff is incredibly professional, dressed well, and don’t vape or anything like I’m used to at other restaurants. The menu makes a lot of sense too! I will be back

My husband and I were out and found this place for us it was a new place to try, well we will be going back everything was excellent!

We arrived after a long trip from Idaho. There were 7 of us on a Saturday evening. The staff went right to work preparing our table and we were seated within 5 minutes.
Even though the place was busy the wait-staff were prompt with great service.
Food was excellent! Prime rib was perfect. Several had pizza or pasta. Salad was fresh chop.
We were well fed, topped off with
Ice cream with the best strawberry topping.
Back in Idaho now, looking forward to another visit and a great meal!
Try bread and vegetable dip and hot fries.

Cannot say enough how much we enjoyed this establishment. The entire staff was pleasant from when we walked in until we left. We are from out of town and stopped in on a busy Saturday night and didnt realize we would need a reservation the staff was very pleasant in telling us an exact time we could be seated as well as giving us the option of eating at the bar. As it was just my husband and I we chose to eat at the bar. The bartender was extremely pleasant the whole time we were there occasional conversing with us. On top of the food being delicous it was brought out quickly and at the right times. I always hate when they bring out the appetizers salads and meals at once. This was all also perfectly spread out timing wise. I really can't say enough about how great of an experience it was for us and plan on returning next trip. Thank you to the whole staff for an amazing dinning experience.

Great lunch specials and dinners. Moderate prices nice view of the canal and ferry rides up and down the canal.
Big KOA campgrounds next to restaurant and beautiful big gift shop must stop in to see all the great assortment of products.

Driving home from Canada and stopped for a great lunch. All windows are facing the canal. They also operate a cruise service if you have time to check it out.
Food was excellent. This will be our new lunch spot.

We stayed in Herkimer on our way to Cooperstown and happened upon this wonderful restaurant! The owner, Rocky, went out of his way to welcome us. The other patrons at the bar were all a lot of fun too! The meal was wonderful. The marinara sauce was excellent! We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Wow what a stop on my way down rt 90. Right on the water. Food is awesome I had steamed clams, duck wings and lamb. There is a rocking band out on the deck and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pleasant surprise, so glad I stopped, wish I lived closer.
