Hampton Inn & Suites Lake Placid

Great hotel to stay with family. Spa, pool, gym activities available. Great daily breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. Our room had lake view. Everything was walking distance so we didn't waste gas. Would stay again.

The staff is friendly, informative and helpful. Everything was very clean, the atmosphere is comfy, And the views are spectacular. I initially stayed I don't want spensive hotel, Then got a room here. The best decision I made, I saved money. And this hotel was better than where I was staying.

I wish I had taken photos but our experience at this Hampton Inn was perfect. The rooms were spotless, the beds were very comfortable and the staff was amazing. In a time when customer service seems to be decreasing, each staff member was so friendly and helpful. To be greeted with smiles and a friendly word each day when they are so busy makes it the best experience. Being right next to the lake is perfection.

If you're looking for a great place to stay in Lake Placid, look no further. This Hotel is OUTSTANDING!! The location is excellent! Walk to shops, restaurants, the Olympic Ice Center and more... Set right across the street from Mirror Lake, you'll enjoy views of the Lake and the Mountains, the town's swimming beach with playground, and the walking/jogging trail alongside Mirror Lake.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with its Adirondack architecture. It has a wonderful outdoor firepit overlooking the lake. Its indoor public space is gorgeous, inviting and comfortable to lounge in - especially by the fireplace. The hotel provides a variety of snacks and beverages in the afternoon, including cookies and fruit. The breakfast is quite good, offering a variety of warm and cold foods including eggs, home fries, waffles, cereals, yogurt, fruit, breads and beverages.

The rooms are cleverly spacious, modern and well equipped with comfy beds, microwave and refrigerator. Some have a balcony, a kitchen bar and lake/mountain views - worth the extra price! Mid-week prices were quite reasonable.

There is a business center, pool, hot tub and fitness room [they look nice, but we didn't use them]. Also, no problem with parking here - their lot is spacious!

The reception staff is Excellent! They are very friendly, smart and helpful. Enjoy your stay!!

Top notch stay. My family & I have been coming to Lake Placid for the past 5 years and we love this location. It’s got a beautiful view of Mirror Lake, easy walk into town, amazing breakfast, and the staff went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

Had the pleasure staying at this beautiful hotel while in town for a business meeting. The views are stunning and never get old. All staff I interacted with were so pleasant. They truly were a breath of fresh air. My room was impeccably clean. It was so peaceful sitting on my balcony & out front in the Adirondack chairs decompressing. Great location! Everything you’d want to do is within walking distance. I also love how dog friendly they are! That is a huge plus in my eyes, as I’m someone who travels often with my dog. I look forward to sharing this beautiful location with my family and pup in the future. I can’t wait to go back! Thank you for the wonderful experience.

This is a wonderful property. They have a beautiful lounge room that overlooks Mirror Lake with lovely seating inside and out. It is especially beautiful in the fall. The staff is very service oriented, especially Carlos - the bartender. Professional, pleasant and working to make guests stay an enjoyable one. Also, they are dog-friendly.

The room was clean, the bed comfy and all staff were friendly. The lobby is adorable and very cozy. Claudio especially was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and checked in on us daily. Excellent customer service.

Perfect location! Easy access everywhere by foot. Clean, nice and cozy hotel. Very nice personnel. Enjoyed the complementary breakfast. Definitely staying again when in the area.

We recently visited lake placid for fall vacation. It was our first long vacation after we had our son. It’s hallway was specious , rustic and on top of it it has captivating view of mirror lake. It was a rainy weekend,Most of the time we spend in hallway enjoying view of lake with coffee, board game, popcorn, hot apple cider. Overall I would say worth visiting tha place. felt like small European town .

I stayed here the weekend of 9-16-23 and I was blown away with the cleanliness, the view, and the staff. Vax at the front desk was an absolute gem and made the stay so welcoming. I will be coming back because of the customer service we received.

The only “bad” thing I could say is the texting and asking how the stay is, is quite weird in my opinion. It also happened WAY too much and threw me off every time I received them.

I have never seen such fantastic service.
Everyone from the manager through the bartender and cleaning staff went above and beyond.

Overall it was a fantastic stay. If you're not a fan of entitled teens, ask at the desk if there are any "teams" staying on your floor. If so, ask for a different room on the floor above that team.

It has been a month since we went for my wife’s birthday vacation but we are still in loved with the experience the we had. The staffs are very nice and friendly. Big shoutout to Manager Ozzy who accommodated us and offered us an upgrade with a lake view studio room. Really appreciate! They’re breakfast are great with lots of options. The location is literally a walk away from the lake. Definitely worth staying. We recommend it. And would love to go back again👌

This is our 3rd time staying at the Hampton Inn, Lake Placid NY in the last 6 weeks. We were upgraded to a balcony with a view of the lake & beach area. This place has everything you could ever want. My favorite is the huge fire-pit at night and ADK chairs overlooking Mirror Lake during the day. We have met some really nice people hanging out at the firepit. Everyone there is so friendly, staff & the guests. The pool & hot tub are very nice and not crowded. The bar area has a perfect view. There is coffee & tea 24 hours a day. This is a pet friendly hotel & I never hear dogs barking at night. There is always beverage containers of fruit infused water & a bowl of fruit like apples. The staff sets out lemonade, cookies and/or popcorn as well, this is a nice treat. The breakfast is decent and there are several hot & cold options. The staff sets out a "Happy Trails" to go bag of food for the early morning hikers. The staff is fantastic, helpful & friendly. Thank you Tiana, Vax, Ozzy, Johan and the rest of the incredible staff (sorry - I didn't write every name down but will revise this on our next trip to this hotel) We LOVE staying at this hotel!!!

Great stay would come back in a heartbeat. Atish runs the breakfast area like a clock. Ozzy and others made it very nice.

The 5th floor suites are well appointed with incredible views of the lake.
The entire Hotel was spotless and guest services were more than accommodating.
The breakfast choices were ok but we didn't come for the free breakfast.
Clean, friendly and comfortable a must stay at.

Beautiful Hampton Inn on Mirror Lake within walking distance of Main Street. Not a typical Hampton Inn at which we stay. Beautiful decor, beautiful room, excellent service. We were pleasantly surprised the Inn included a bar which is open from 3 to 8 as well as live music on Saturday evening.

Since we are Dimond members, we were upgraded to a room with a balcony overlooking Mirror Lake! So, the accommodation was wonderful.
All of the staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and friendly!
The full breakfasts were plentiful and delicious making a great start to each day!
Out if all the Hilton's we have stayed in, it is in our top 5.
