Borunda Asian Buffet

Everything was delicious and staff was friendly. Service was great. We had to ask for ketchup (for french fries) and hot sauce as there was none out, but they were more than happy to get the items and bring them to our table very quickly. Plenty of seating from one to a large number of people. Family friendly. They do have a seperate party room and bathrooms were clean. I'm not sure of how pricing is (as we invited out by another family member- their treat & suggestion) for children as compared to adults. They did ask ages of children. I do believe it was over $100 for our group of 5 adults and 3 children.

Some of the food was lukewarm but other then that is was a great place to go and eat at. Service was very good and everything i had i liked including the sushi and same for my girlfriend. The price wasn’t bad. Me and my girlfriend enjoyed are time and 100% will be going back.

The food here was pretty good. The reason i am giving 5 stars is the staff. I have 4 kids and I am by myself, so going out to eat isn't always easy. My one year old was not having a good time. And typically we get the mean looks and whispers from staff members but not here. As I was trying to get things out of reach on the table I knocked my drink all over myself and floor. Staff came right over to help clean it up and were extremely friendly in doing so. It really made a hard time a lot easier and less stressful and embarrassing. Kids ate A LOT and we really enjoyed ourselves minus the rough start. Place was big and rather quiet as well. We will be going back, maybe when I have some help ha.

They didn't let me down. The food atmosphere and even the waiter's attitude are very good. I definitely recommend it. The food choices are good, and the things they provide must be fresh.

One of the best buffets I've ever been to. They had everything from pizza, donuts, crabs, prawns, several types of chicken, salad fixings, mac and cheese, fruit, ribs, rice, oysters, clams and salmon to name a few things; all of which with a Chinese twist. The staff members were excellent. The floors were the cleanest of any restaurant I went to. When you go up to the hot plates, you get a new plate for whatever you wanted. Within seconds of finishing whatever was on your plate, the server will take your plate from you. It normally costs $15 per person to eat here, unless if you go during a major holiday (i.e. $12 for Christmas; should say on websites for other specials). There is parking in back for Borunda customers, but if you want to park in front, you best do it on a weekend so you don't have to put money in the parking meters. I would recommend Borunda to anybody near or passing by Herkimer looking for a great meal (Worth the 20 minute drive for me).

To be honest, I was focused on the food. I have to say this is my first time really liking an all you can eat buffet. I usually get something disgusting.
To my surprise everything was flavorful and staff was helpful.

Had a very nice lunch with my husband on Labor Day. The food was good, there were lots of options, the staff were courteous and I got a chance to try a few new dishes. I will definitely go back if I am in Herkimer again.

The food looks good, and the atmosphere is also good. Very friendly staff. The quality of the food is great. It's worth coming back to try more delicious food.

This is a buffet, so you can get what you want and as much as you want. It is clean, and their food selections are great. The servers that bring you drinks are very polite.

Our first time there. It was very good. We had an awesome experience.

The place is clean and organized. I love that they have a wide selection of sushis to choose from.

The children ate a lot, and we really enjoyed it. The place was large and quiet. We will go back.

Finally found a restaurant that does egg rolls right. Just the perfect amount of grease. When I do take out, I get about 4 meals from their wide ranging menu. Food is delicious, staff are some of the friendliest people and prices are very competitive

As a long time customer of these people. BARUNDA ( formally FOO CHOW) make the best Chinese food in a 75 mile radius. They make special orders no problem . If you want only the best, go see Hellen ( the owner) and her staff and find out for your self !!

Today is Father's Day. I chose here. The service attitude of the restaurant is very good. The waiters are warm and thoughtful, and take good care of them, which makes people feel very comfortable.

The food also tastes good.
