Center Harbor Inn

Clean rooms, beautiful location, and tasty hot breakfast. We loved the hot tub with lake view. The staff were also so friendly and gave great local recommendations on food and activities. We stayed midweek in the fall and had a lovely time- really relaxing spot to stay and lots to do in the region! We will definitely be back, and bring the kids next time.

Not too crowded during our early June stay. A 4-hour boat rental comes with each room, which includes single or double kayaks, stand-up paddle boards and paddle boats. Beach is good for soaking but too small for swimming. Staff has been great, so has breakfast. Wish I had been informed of the shower next to the hot tub stairs, which would be nice coming back from the beach.

I wish that the "Smoking Area" had a roof so that you didn't have to hold an umbrella while you smoked when it rained. Breakfast was great!

Of all the places I stayed during my week in New England, this was my favorite. The location is beautiful. We had a nice view of the lake in a quiet hotel. The fire pit was lovely as it was pretty chilly the night we stayed. The bed and amenities were very nice as well. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Stayed here for the 1st time. Got the lake Vista room. It was the room at the end looking over the lake. It was so beautiful. The room was so clean. The office people where extremely nice and helpful. Definitely coming here when it's warmer out to enjoy the lake.

Always clean. My wife and I only stay in the winter as that is when we plan our vacation. They offer some great packages for the off season on their website making it a cheaper stay. There is no bad room. The breakfast is simple so don't expect extravagance. Service is great and responsive but there is no staff overnight in the building. For us not a big deal we have never had an issue arise that needed to be addressed after 10. We love it and will keep returning year after year!

Lovely spot right on the lake. Our second stay here, fully enjoyed our stay both times despite sub optimal weather conditions. Truly beautiful views no matter the weather. Provided breakfast reasonably good, and great food available nearby, several within walking distance! Overjoyed to watch loons, geese, and ducks from our balcony. Checking and out very smooth and efficient, staff genial and responsive. Easy drive to local attractions including the Loon sanctuary, the shops at Mills Falls, and hiking at Castle in the clouds.

This has to be the finest place to visit. I found myself in the most relaxing state of mind here. Do enjoy a visit. That's a must. Thank you for a stay..

Pros: Complimentary breakfast. Updated rooms as of this writing. Beautiful lake shore with a little marina. Free usage of paddle boats and kayaks.
Close to most of the town’s attractions and essential stores.

Cons: No shower door to keep the bathroom mat and generally the outside of the shower stall from getting wet (flooded?)
AC when running blows directly onto you on the bed.
The curtains should slide open on the other side where the door is. Better outside light control.
Over all: the place is awesome. Very clean and ambient I’d love to stay there again!

Really nice room. Recently updated. Very clean. Private balcony and view of the harbor. Booked with them and got a $50 gift card to Canoe restaurant down the street. I was pleasantly surprised that it was this nice, at this price. We will definitely be back!

Such a beautiful location! We had a King room on the 3rd floor that looked overlooked the water (last one-closest to the water), and it was such an amazing place to wake up to and to enjoy some morning coffee. The staff was super friendly and attentive, the place was absolutely spotless, they offered a nice (free) continental-style breakfast, and the coffee in the rooms were of the Starbucks brand-always appreciated! We hope to return some day soon to stay again:)

I had a great experience with my stay here. Booked through Rci. The accommodations were better than I could’ve imagined. Easy check in. The staff was kind and helpful the entire week. Beautiful views of the lake and sunrises right from the room. Even better views from the beach on premises. The rooms are very clean and the entire place is kept well. King size bed in our room. I am used to a full kitchens with Rci. The only thing that is provided is a mini fridge and a microwave. Not sure if the two bedrooms have a full kitchen. The outdoor hot tub is large enough for 16 people. Beautiful stonework around the hot tub and a great view of the lake. I suggest going in at night when you can see the stars. I didn’t realize there was free continental breakfast served daily between 8 to 10. Lots of great choices from cold cereals to eggs. You can eat in the breakfast area, or take back to your room. Plates and utensils are provided. Many different kinds of drinks are available in the cooler.

Other than the hot tub, there is a small workout room, sauna, and beach on premises. Each room has a coffee maker with coffee and tea provided. They also provide shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There is an ice machine downstairs for ice coffee or drinks. I would definitely recommend staying here. There are many more activities during the summer than winter. I basically used the week to relax. Overall great experience with Center Harbor Inn. Highly recommend.

Their water was like glass you could see every tree every leaf every home reflecting on the surface. The colors of all the leaves red yellow orange green everywhere you looked was more beautiful than the next. When finished with the kayak trip we had already checked out so they offer you to use the facilities which includes showers a sauna hot tub really a great way to wrap up the day and continue on with our journey.

Great Place to stay if you're looking for a picturesque view. Right on the water, lush green lawn, corn hole games, fire pit, adirondack chairs to relax in, beach chairs to suntan on and modern, clean rooms to stay in. When you wake in the morning, their continental breakfast is A1 with scrambled eggs, sausage patties and the usual accompaniments. Great Stay. I'm already planning for another visit.

Our stay was amazing. We got the romance package which included a $50 gift card to the Canoe Tavern up the road. The food was amazing. We loved all of the amenities that this place offers (Hot tub, Firepit, paddle boat). The rooms were beautiful and clean! We will be back!

Wife and I went here for a baby-moon. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. She gave us a ton of information about the inn and the local area. She was very accommodating when we asked to switch rooms, because we wanted a better look over the picturesque lake. There was no problem with the room we had, we just wanted a better view. She helped us with a smile and got us a room practically on the water and right by the hot tub.

The room was either updated recently or has been well taken care of, as it was very nice and comfortable. Since we were there in December we couldn't use their many amenities such as their beach or outside hot tub. Maybe next time!!

This hotel is not properly rated and should display a 3 star rating, if not four. The building and grounds are gorgeous and has all the major amenities one would want at a Lakeside retreat. Rooms were good sized. Staff were amazingly friendly. Centrally located near major attractions, yet can serve as its own destination. The property is 100% smoke free. Should you smoke you will find two chairs in the parking lot that serve as the designated smoking area, so if it raining you are SOL. The hotel provides a typical continental breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised by the choices in bread and baked muffins. Also some non—carb lovers options. You can see the love put into the place. Definitely recommend!

We had a small wedding in Center Harbor in November 2021. All of our guests stayed at the Inn and were very pleased with the accommodations. The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. The rooms were clean with great views of the lake. We would highly recommend the Inn to anyone needed a place to stay in the area!

Great little hide-away. Friendly, if not typical New Hampshire, staff. Interesting history. Very quiet, since we stayed before the season really got started. Decent free breakfast, with standard fare. Nice local bakery goods included. Property is well kept and immaculately clean. Rooms are fresh and well serviced with typical tv, fridge, coffee and coffee maker. We got an incredible Groupon deal, which as the front office staff told us, "Fills the gaps and just covers lights and gas." If they have the same deal next year around this time, we'll bring the motorcycle and a few friends and do some touring/shopping/eating together
