These guys rock! I needed some composite trim to replace some rotted boards on the exterior of my home; my builder got a great product at a great price! My next project will be to replace the composite railing on my deck as it's splitting. Worked with Mark/Uncle Hilde's to purchase cedar shakes to side a new summer cottage near Lake Winnipisaukee, and ended up with a very high quality product at very good price, plus all kinds of helpful advice on products selection, installation and also help with loading/unloading and delivery. Great experience dealing with Mark at Uncle Hilda’s lumber!

This business deserves 1000 stars, all of them Sirius (the brightest star in the sky). We drove all the way from Essex Junction, VT to purchase Azek decking because we could never afford to buy it at the big box stores. Great communication via email, and the wonderful staff help load and tie down our purchase in the trailer. We were not charged extra for cutting the boards to fit into the trailer. In addition, we were able to buy the supplies we needed to install our deck. Great one stop shopping! I wish all my purchases for such projects could be conducted in this exceptional fashion. It is my sincerest wish that this company expand into Vermont. In the mean time, we will be letting other people know of this incredible gem in Tilton, NH, and if we have any further need for any type lumber projects, this is the first place we will go. As my Eagle Scout project, I built a large garden fence at a local elementary school. I visited Uncle Hilde's to get lumber for the fence rails, which they sold to me at a significant discount. The people here are very helpful and knowledgeable, and they sell quality wood! I'd recommend Uncle Hilde's to anyone looking to buy lumber - especially prospective Eagle Scouts looking for a great deal on materials for their projects!

When we were building our store in Center Harbor, NH, I needed all types of lumber and flooring. Mark suggested Ponderosa pine bead board for the ceiling in the store and under the front porch. I also purchased Heart Pine flooring in 8, 10 and 12 inch widths. It all came out just the way I wanted. The guys at Uncle Hilde's really know their wood and the prices are hard to beat. I rented a budget truck and they were able to lift two pallets of stockade fencing in and I was out the door in ten minutes after picking up 55 panels. Great customer service and you can't beat the prices! I drove an hour and 15 and rented a truck for the pickup just because the savings were so big. Thanks guys!

Uncle Hilde's has everything you need. Mark and his team set us with some very nice white oak pre-finished flooring for the Tilton Senior Center.
