The Lazy Lion

Driving by I stopped in for a sandwich and found a great selection of salads, appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. I ordered the vegetarian burger with blue cheese and fries. Delicious! Fun atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely will visit again!

I was treated very well and the food is great! I visited for lunch and had the vegetarian burger with truffle fries. Next day I went for dinner. I had pan seared duck, served rare, with grilled asparagus and rice pilaf. For dessert, I ordered carrot cake and I was given a huge slice! I'm glad I didn't eat all my appetizer, chicken wings with house buffalo sauce, and dinner. I enjoyed dinner and lunch, lunch twice from leftovers, and I recommend this restaurant/grill.
Update: Saturday afternoon, February 2022; My friend, she had a swiss burger 🍔 with onion 🧅 rings, "One to rule them all!", while I had a Rachel, no, get your mind outta the gutta, basically a turkey 🦃 Reuben with truffle fries on the side. Greasy, but, good 👍. Large selection of teas available. Carrot cake 🍰 for dessert. More frosting than cake. Reasonable prices.
Update I had a discount through the rewards program. I had the sweetest Chicken Piccata ever. Salted Caramel Vanilla cake 🍰 for dessert. A live band was playing.
WiFi available, including 5G. Great service!

Good old restaurant right in town. Great mixed drinks for sure. The food is amazing and if you catch live music, 👌

Everything was excellent! Really enjoyed my Chicken Piccata and Hot and Dirty Martini! My wife really enjoyed her Grilled Chicken Sandwich and her
blueberry Vodka soda. Very good draft beer selection and our server/bartender Monique is top notch! Friendly and on top of everything. Couldn’t ask for a better dining experience!

My husband and I live very close to the Lion but hadn’t been there for a while and wanted a night out for just the two of us. We got a seat near the wood stove on a frigid night and had a great dining experience. Our waitress was very attentive and had a fun personality. Food was excellent! We will definitely be going there more often! 🥰

My wife and I took a challenge to drive at least 15 miles out to find local eats. We ended up at the Lazy Lion. This place was clearly where the locals meet up, because there really wasn't much else in the little town of Deerfield. What a cool little place they got going there! Food was great, staff was friendly and helpful. The seating was tight, but they're working with what they got. There was live music. I ordered the Special, which was the Chicken Vesuvius! Man, this was filling, and delicious!
The downside was finding the entrance, but then again... clearly the locals would know where it is. The parking was also tight, but again... they're working with what they have

A great local pub. A buddy of mine and I went there after a hike in Pawtuckaway park. The beer was cold, the food was hot, and the bartender was sassy.. What more do you need?

If you haven’t visited The Lazy Lion you are missing a wonderful and unique experience. The atmosphere, live music and food is just terrific. Be good to yourself and take a trip. My wife and I love it.

This place never fails ! The nacho's sell me every single time. Fresh cold Maine Lunch on draft and a energizing espresso martini. Oh so yummy...

Went on a Saturday night in the restaurant was very busy. Wait time of only 10 minutes. Our server Monique was absolutely fabulous. Food was served hot and fresh I would definitely recommend

Been here a few times and i call it like it is. Tonight was great. Food, service, atmosphere all on point.

Find the time to get dinner here! I was expecting some basic comfort food, but this is comfort food elevated. Small town feel 5 Star Food.

Came around 530 on a Saturday night… place was PACKED. Despite this, service was phenomenal. Our bartender, Danielle, greeted us immediately and was very quick with service and any requests. Her positive energy and attitude really made the experience.

The food was incredible, steak melted in my mouth, and chicken was incredible. The musicians were absolutely wonderful and set an amazing vibe.

Stopped in here on a whim but will for SURE be back!

Two excellent dinners tonight as always. The rose and valentine cupcakes at the end made it even more special.

My friends and I go there for the excellent drinks and the lemon and sea salt chicken tenders....I'm thrilled to live so close to such a great place

Was out driving around, and got lured in by the grill smell. Definitely glad I did! Blue Cheese burger is the bomb. Good fries and decent selection of beer on tap. Super friendly, professional wait staff. Been back a couple of times.

Awesome food great atmosphere and patrons and owners and staff treat you like family what more could you ask for ? Just a good place to eat and have fun and relax for dinner and music

Second time driving through the area, and decided to stop in for a late lunch. Great little place. The service is very friendly, easy going, and on top of it. The atmosphere is really easy going too. We got sandwiches and cake. Both were delightful.
