Outstanding customer service! Cindy was so helpful and so polite. I came in the store late one day around 6:30 PM because I saw the lights on. I knew that the hours online said that they close at 6 PM, but she told me even though they were closed that she would help me out anyway. She was so pleasant and I will definitely be coming back!

Sussex County Music is the best place to rent an instrument or purchase a used one. My son had been playing the trumpet for a few years and we had been renting it from them and upon arriving at the store we were advised that they had used instruments available for purchase. We found a gently used trumpet at an exceptional price. Thank You Sussex County Music!

this place is so great. my five year old takes piano lessons here with jeff. first of all, jeff is an amazing musician himself. we sometimes hear him playing prior to her lessons. second of all, the place has such a relaxed and positive energy. jeff said on the phone, prior to setting up the lessons that he has the patience of a saint and he's totally right! she loves going and is independently motivated to practice as home (i don't have to ask her to practice). as another note here, my kid is a conscientious type but she really benefits from an affirming attitude and a lot of gentleness when learning something. it's a great fit.

Did a good job getting my son's saxophone serviced. Gave me a free loaner when they realized their repair guy was on vacation. Would use again.

Great place owned by a great couple. Very friendly, awesome service. Wide range of musical instruments, equipment, and parts. In the unlikely event they don’t have what you’re looking for, they know which direction to send you to find it. Will be going to them for the foreseeable future.

This place is a hidden gem. Aside from their collection of new stuff, they have some real treasures of older and used stuff. It is worth the ride to check it out.

This is the best music store you can go to. The owner John is a professional musician and takes very good care of his customers. Great prices that rival Amazon and the big chains, but personalized service that you cannot get elsewhere. Buy a guitar there and John will set it up for you. That means great action, no fret issues and plays and sounds awesome. John is also an excellent guitar repairman. Shop local and you will be so much happier with the outcome.

This is a music store, everything you would need plus musicians owned and run the store going to guitar center is like going to home Depot no people around and half the time you don't know what you're buying I would recommend Sussex county music to any musician whether you're a pro or just starting out they make you feel very comfortable and they do excellent repairs on everything to do with music and did I mention they also give lessons on any type of instrument check them out you'll be pleasantly surprised thank you Armand de Blasio

My wife bought me an acoustic guitar there about twenty years ago, Im just now learning to play it, but I love it, and John was a great guy to deal with, I first came in and ordered it, put it on layaway and made regular payments, one day I went in to pay it off and pick it up. He said he couldn't sell it to me, and looked down as he said that. I was surprised and puzzled as to why, but a few days later my wife came home with it for me, what a great surprise!, and what a nice man to deal with. Great place for new and used gear, as well as top notch guitar repair. The owners John and Mike are both local guitar legends and take great pride in their service. They also offer music lessons for many different intruments and skill levels. I’d definitely recommend this local gem, over making the trip out to some big chain store.

This music store is very good. They have a great stock of electric guitars, acoustic guitars, amps, ect. I've been here twice. The first time was 2 months ago. I cam back about a week ago and they remembered me. Now that's good service when the workers remember you from one visit 2 months ago. Definently will be going here for all my music needs

Always the best. Nothing but the best service and help. Have a question? They will answer it. While I was there a woman came in to ask about a snow blower and they still helped her. They have great prices and will work with you. I’ve bought a lot of gear from them and have yet to be disappointed. If I could leave 50 stars I would. Love these guys.

I did a random search of a music store and found Sussex County Music. Took my vintage bass in beat up and battered. John, replaced strings tuned it repaired it and put a lot of care into it. Bass has never looked or sounded so good. Great price I will recommend this business to friends and family.
