Forest Park Hotel

I've had great stays here the past two visits to St. Louis. Rooms are clean, staff is attentive and friendly, they appear to be making improvements throughout the property. Affordable rates make this a good value for me. Would be nice to see the restaurant reopen.

We are so happy we found the Forest Park Hotel! It is right by where our family is located in St. Louis and the staff is absolutely amazing. Cornice checked us in and made us feel so at ease and welcomed after a very long day of traveling. She picked a perfect room for us on a high floor with a great view and I’m so thankful for her thoughtfulness! The room was lovely, clean, and smelled like relaxation! Really enjoyed the flavorful complimentary coffee. We felt so secure and safe with the well lit parking lot and the hotel security staff. We also had the pleasure of being checked out by Orlean and the new owner. They sent us on our way with big smiles on our faces. You can tell they have a great sense of pride in the property and the staff. I only see good things for this hotel in the future! This was our first time but certainly won’t be our last!

The rooms were nice.
The staff was wonderful and worked with my situation to get a room for my dad near me when he was released from the hospital during my stay there.
I loved that the hotel was close to where I wanted to go, and was so easy to get to from where we needed and wanted to go.

I was nervous after reading some of the reviews having booked it without looking at them first. I was relieved after getting to the room and checking it. It was pretty clean and the front desk guy was friendly. I seen a security vehicle parked out front as soon as I pulled in at 6 pm. The interstate is pretty noisy but you can't hear it with the sliding door shut. Pretty great for the price but I've only spent one night amd this is my experience.

Let me just say this 10/10 ! The Customer service, the rooms, the workers were friendly and very nice ! Great Price for the Room. Mr.Brett was a fantastic Host, He was able to keep it real with us during our stay. The Hospitality was amazing ! I WILL COME BACK. Do Not go to Red Roof where they scam. Go here Its legit and they really keep it clean !! The Linens smells super fresh ! Wheww I just wish they served breakfast !

We stayed here for 2 nights. It was nice. Elevator had a unique smell along with the hallway on the 3rd floor. Our room was clean and smell free. There were no traffic noise to disrupt our sleep. We will definitely stay here again.

I loved it so did my daughter's ages 6,12 14. I took them there to relax enjoy and make memories ww did that and more they really amazed us. We also encountered a slight problem going in to the room but they jumped right in yet on it asap afterwards they placed us in another room a way better one although the first one was amazing we really got upgraded and I'm grateful yet thankful for their hospitality and services 🙏 🙌 the best I've been to in a very long time since my fiance passed away but overall their location really showed up yet out. I'd say if you are willing yet ready for a great experience called feeling like home away from home check them out and thank me later until then please enjoy 😉 😊

If you want exceptional customer service with a decent stay, you should definitely stay at this hotel. ALL the front desk staff are caring knowledgeable and understanding. I was visiting from Colorado and the whole staff was friendly and accommodating. I will be staying there whenever I come back. I appreciate you'll!!! Mz. Tate

I have stayed at the forest Park hotel with my elderly aunt for several days after a construction emergency at our home left us needing a stay at this hotel, although my aunt already gave a good review today, my experience on Friday night may have changed how we feel about staying again. When you pay for a room at a hotel you are free to leave your room for a change of scenery because it can get a little stuffy and when sharing a room sometimes you just want to take a stroll on your own stretch and simply just find a quiet place to sit alone and check your emails, this is why hotels usually have furniture in their lobbies and a couple comfy chairs in the hall, and that's where I decided to have a seat late Friday night and check my emails and do some research I needed on the internet. I was quite relaxed where I sat in the large hall by the lobby in the hotel. As I sat there people were coming and going with their dogs to take for a walk, and everyone just went about their business no fuss I wasn't bothered and nobody was bothered by me as I sat minding my business on my tablet, at least I thought nobody was bothered by me until the security guard approached me and let me know that I made him uncomfortable I guess by how he spoke to me, loudly he said, mam is everything okay, I was a little shocked I said oh yes I'm just using the wifi n checking emails, that reply wasn't enough for him because I believe he thought I was lieing to him , he said well do you have a room in this hotel, and I had to laugh a little and said of course I do I have my room key card right here, as I was trying to finish an email, still yet he wasnt done interrupting me and had the nerve to ask what my room number was! Here's my problem, I did not look out of place, I was very clean, I had on clean clothes, my hair was done, I even had fresh makeup on, this same man seen me earlier coming into the hotel with a bag of fast food and drinks that I brought to our room, so it really bothers me that me sitting there minding my business not making a sound made him suspicious of me , and only me, not the group of young girls huddled in the lobby giggling, not the two adults that just walked by one wrapped in a blanket the other wrapped in a curtain, I'm very observant and know a curtain when I see one!!! This man never gave anyone else coming and going a second look, and even though I notice everything I wasn't bothered by any of these people because nobody was causing a problem, but I will say this and this is just my opinion, I think I would have been the last person to catch his attention because I was so quiet and alone and looked very interested in what I was doing on my tablet, and I wouldn't have minded to much the first question he asked me had he took my answer and left me to my business, but to counter back twice with more questions letting me know that he truly thought I was a liar and he wasn't satisfied with my first answer so now I must prove that I'm not in fact a liar, and I'm not just sitting in this comfy chair in this hotel that iv paid hundred's of dollars to stay at for several days, checking emails, and enjoying my time out of the one room iv been confined too with my elderly aunt and niece.. For some reason this security guard finds little ol me to be suspicious out of all the passersby with their large dogs, with blankets wrapped around them , maybe he should have asked them if everything was okay maybe the heat was broke in their room idk it just seemed to me that I would be the one that looked more okay and comfortable than anyone else, I definitely looked less suspicious as I clearly wasn't uncomfortable, I wasn't crying I was not mad or sad, I was fully clothed, a hoody and jeans, id like to think I'm easy on the eyes, I smiled back when smiled at.. There was no reason to be harassed and that's exactly what he did was harassing me until he made me so uncomfortable that I got up and left my comphy little spot that I was enjoying away from the closed in hotel room where I could breath and relax a little..

I highly recommend this place great service great people. They are very nice an will work with you. This place is a 10/10. Places to eat close by gas station close an only a few minutes away from the hospital. Thank you guys for everything we will be back.

Water was out at my place for the day so I got a room here. Price was lower than the Red Roof next door which was surprising for how nice the place is. Only downside was the lack of free breakfast. Really clean room and comfy bed.

This hotel has a 5 star rating in customer service. They truly understand what it means to be understanding and providing you with exceptional service. The staff goes above and beyond. If there is an issue they do everything to address it and make you feel comfortable. They care about their guests from the manager, reservation clerks, security, and housekeeping. I had a pleasure in meeting all of them. I want to thank you for everything you done for me! May Forest Park Hotel in their new management thrive in their new endeavor!

Stayed at this hotel on a last minute trip to STL and I will definitely be back. The front desk crew was awesome especially the beautiful young lady that has a glasses fetish like myself and the handsome manager who helped checked me in. They were very professional and polite my entire stay. The room was perfect, clean, odor free, and have a balcony which is the best part for me. Loved the view from the balcony and seen a fireworks show as a bonus. They are still working out some kinks with this being new management but in due time I feel things will be all good. Thx for the great hospitality and will see you all everytime I come in town.

Good location, friendly staff, loved our room. They’re working hard to make this hotel a lot better than the former owners bothered to do!

What is so great about this hotel first off is location. 44&hampton you are 10 minutes from anywhere. Second is the amenities. They have a pool, gym, and bar. The rooms are above average with mini fridge, microwave and even a balcony which is a plus for me. I must warn you about that balcony, for all you smokers this hotel is non smoking even on the balcony. If you get caught or if they smell it in your room they will charge your credit card $250. I’m not kidding. I learned that lesson the hard way. When I seen my credit card statement I was sick. But anyway, the staff is friendly and the clientele is respectable so having said all that, this is a great place to stay.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days. I was in St. Louis for a conference. The staffs were polite and helpful. I lost my wallet during my stay (later I found it) and the staffs helped me look for it. 2 staffs took time off their lunch to help me. I eventually had to leave after looking for my wallet for an hour or so. I left contact details with the receptionist and she promised that she would contact me if they find it. I really appreciate their time and support. They staffs could have had me wait till they get back from lunch, but they took time off their break to help me which they did not have to. They have my utmost gratitude.
If I am visiting St. LOUIS again I would definitely stay with them.
About the room: the room was clean and nice. So.was the bathroom. The card keys did not work properly. Maybe they should upgrade the locks. The staffs deserve a raise though for being so helpful and patient.

This hotel was everything we needed it to be! My boyfriend and i came in and were greeted by Rachel, she checked us in and happily answered all our questions. definitely would recommend to anyone coming to the area.
