Bart's Deli and General Store

Here to ski, hike or drive through the state? This is THE pitstop. Can't wait to go back. Their steak n cheese hot Sandwiches are the main event. Great comfort food. The general store is ok, small, but has everything from snacks to braided rope. The lighting could be brighter but not a big deal. Been going there for 5 years every summer.

We ordered the pastrami on rye, rare roast beef x2, & the greatest grilled cheese of all time. Very family friendly, highly recommend & we will definitely be back. They even have the Foster oil cans.

Very friendly staff! The store has a little bit of everything, wine, beer, frozen foods, fresh coffee (including an option for iced coffee), snacks, bug spray, etc.

The restaurant has a surprisingly wide selection of breakfast items (served until 11 am) and lunch items. Always open for 3 day weekends.

Kind women and best damn grilled cheese on the mountain. Must stop for one-of-a-kind seasoning! And don't forget the salted crickets

Barts Deli is a wonderful hidden secret. The food was really delicious and the cranberry chicken is a must!

Barts deli is convenient and open when you’re passing through Bartlett and they have great souvenirs. Going in there makes you feel like you are stepping back in time and slow things down.

We stopped in at Bart’s after a long road of closed shops. At the grill, we were greeted by the most friendly chef, we assumed Bart. Wow the menu, his customer service and his cooking! So good! The store is filled with so many necessary things and beautiful souvenirs/gifts.

The best deli I’ve ever been to. The food is amazing and there are plenty of vegetarian options. The homemade potato chips are a must try and will blow your socks off. Staff are friendly too.

EDIT 10/21. REDEMPTION. Visited this past weekend and had a very pleasant experience. Staff was great, food was great. So glad that this place has appeared to change its tune. Oh, and to Margarita, we we’re always pleasant when visiting. Your assumptions are incorrect. The initial review was warranted as is this update.

Attention Bart’s employees. Read these reviews and sharpen up. It is mind boggling how rude you folks were to me today. I also witnessed how rude you were to other customers. How are you still in business with this despicable behavior?

The sandwiches were tasty despite how stingy you were with the meat.

Get it together or get a job where you don’t need to interact with the public.

What a wonderful place to have happened upon!!! This convenience store/deli has an incredible menu and equally delicious good!!! My sandwich was amazing!!!! I wanted to go back again and again to try the many fantastic items offered. The pizzas all sounded incredible too!!! The beverage selection was also very impressive - that might sound silly to some, but when you’re on a road trip and stocking up, it is so enjoyable to have such delightful and uncommon options!!!

Bart's has just about everything, and the deli is amazing. Take the word of this hungry hiker and don't pass up the haddock Reuben... a delicious reward after a day on the trail. Don't skip the cookies, either.

Food was good. Great market selection. Very convenient location to Attitash. For everyone saying the lady who works there is unpleasant, I get that it may not be your sense of humor, but she is just kidding. Play along and you'll have a lot more fun I promise. They clearly work very hard and keep that store as clean, neat, and organized as it can be and we greatly appreciated them being there.

Huge fan of Bart's. Absolutely stellar breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The best homemade potato chips. Nice selection of grocery. Went in for ice and firewood, out with a new must-stop spot in NH. Highly recommend. The staff is a little stark, but the food is not to be missed.

You will find everything good you hope and expect from a "mom n pop" store here, plus a few pleasant surprises. Perfect place to snag a breakfast sandwich before hitting the mountains or the slopes. If you ask, they will make a lunch sandwich with all the wet ingredients wrapped separate so go ahead and get your lunch right away too. Very homely feel to this simple place. Keep your eyes sharp to spot the homemade baked goods by the register. Wait too long and they'll all be gone for sure! Highly recommend.

Had a pastrami sammich with Swiss cheese and mustard on whole wheat. It. was. so. good.

Also, both people were super nice to me.

Bart's has a wide variety of made to order breakfast and lunch items. Everything is fresh and made to order. Portions are good sized, breakfast is fresh with quality ingredients. Sandwiches are on freshly baked in store bread, and there are a wide variety of hot and cold to choose from. Whether you're in the mood for breakfast or lunch, Barts is one of the best choices in the area. They have a few tables, as well if you choose to eat there.

Beautiful store. We bought 2 muffins went out to the car I put them on driver's seat and put something in the back of the car. Came back musta forgot they were there and got in. My husband looked at me like really . I got right back out and they were smoshed. But they were individually wrapped and in a paper bag so I ate mine anyway and later his. Delicious even though I squished them.

What a nice treat! Stopped for breakfast before heading home. Tracy, our server/cook, made us feel like we were visiting family which was apparent when we all hugged her when we left. Can't wait to come back!

Wonderful sandwiches and a great selection of beers. Such nice and warm people.

I love this place. First off, if you're nearby on Friday afternoon, they have a first come first serve prime rib special which sells out each week. 5p-7p. Fantastic.

The store had everything you could need, and Linda, the owner, knows every thing about the area.

Highly recommend.
