American Legion Park

Cute clean park to stop at on road trips! Public bathrooms are well kept. Great memorial bit of history as well.

American Legion Park is a stunning and honorable tribute to our nations nation's sacrifices. There is a Sherman tank on display and several etched granite art displays. On the back of each piece are names of soldiers from NE who gave their lives.
In the main park we saw a playground, a bandstand, restrooms, plenty of shade and well manicured grounds.

This is a beautiful tribute to our Military. A lot of my family members are on the marble markers. My dad was the one that drove this tank into place.

Beautiful park with picnic tables, playground, flower garden and stage for community performances. My kids also really enjoyed the World War 2 tank.

Nice park to take a break from driving on highway 75. Fast food across the street.
It has playground for small kids, a skate park, basketball and tennis courts, also a war memorial and a cool WW2 tank. lots of fun things to do

We stopped here on a trip from TX to ND and visited again on the way back home. Beautiful memorial park with a nice playground. Great spot for an active break from all the driving.

We always make this a stop on our trip from Topeka to Nebraska. Its a peaceful and beautiful park. It has a beautiful memorial for veterans. It has plenty of picnic benches. It also has decent working restrooms. There is also a skate park next to it. It just makes a great place to rest and have a picnic on a road trip.

This was a nice place to stop on our trip from Omaha to Topeka. It was clean and well maintained. The playground wasn't amazing, but the equipment was in good shape and was fairly unique. The tank out front was fun. There was enough parking and shade. The picnic tables were clean and there were even kid sized ones. The park is also across the road from a couple of fast food places, so in good weather, it's a nice place to take a break with the kids if you're driving through.

This is simply a beautiful park. With actual retired war machines. The tank was impressive. I also really appreciated that the parks Honeybee was painted in a patriotic theme

Very nice city park with just enough for young kids to get out and burn off skme of that car riding energy. They have really kept up the veterans memorial area nicely.

Very interesting. Met a couple of veterans and listened to their experiences. Proudly shook their hands and thanked them. God Bless America !

Well groomed grass and beautiful veterans memorials. The Sherman tank is a great touch.

The grandbabies had a good time on the toys. It is a nice place to enjoy a break from being inside all the time,,,timeless!
