CROSS Center

Yesterday I went here for the first time due to the struggle of cost of food. I have struggled buying food for the past year and only been able to get to the food shelf in St. Cloud twice this year due to how busy it is & you need an appointment & unfortunately the appts have not worked out for my schedule well. My husband and I are entrepreneurs and have 3 small businesses which we work very hard for and sacrifice a lot in hopes it pays off in the future. Sometimes you have to be broke for several years before the business pays off. Occasionally our business bills are so high we can’t afford to feed are family while we wait for a check, we have to pay the employees first of course. I was very worried and panicked how do we buy food when we can’t get government assistance and I couldn’t get into the food shelf here in St. Cloud. I searched online and found Foley food shelf & called. Immediately the woman who answered the phone was so kind to me and so helpful and assured me to come on over. The moment me & my toddler walked in we were welcomed with love and kindness by multiple employees. I can’t even describe the kindness and beauty of all of these employees. I had to hold my tears in. I left and was overwhelmed with so much blessings I could hardly believe it. The day before was mine and husband’s anniversary and we couldn’t afford much, the kind employees gave me a Bouquet of flowers. I was so overwhelmed with love that I failed to tell them it was just my anniversary and how beautiful that was for them to do that. They were so humble and continued to give credit to Coborns for the donations. (I shop at Coborns) so that was even more heartfelt of a blessing. I’ll be sure to write to Coborns as well thanking them for donating to foley food shelf. I want everyone to know that these kind people serving and working at foley food shelf are doing more good then anyone I’ve met in a long time. They are making such a difference in lives. Thank you

This is the best place to come if you're still in need of food. The staff treats you like your a person and not like someone who is off the street bagging for food. The clothing store is open for 1 bag per person but they're nice clothing not dirty, if you have anything to donate please bring it here as everything is free here. Thank You

The staff are great, polite, and very helpful, the cross center has been a great help our cupboards were low but after learning of the cross center they have stayed full. Wonderful toys for the kids plenty of clothes slot of our 3 year old clothes were gotten at cross and she is a typical messy 3 year old so cross has saved us a lot in replacing clothing. I love to read and plenty of books and authors I like too.
