Very cool 50's art deco theater that has new releases and great popcorn

The Rialto is fantastic with affordable prices. Been coming here since I was a kid and we just saw our first movie in theaters post-covid. The vintage art deco decor is fun. Please support this small independent theater.

A wonderful piece of history! Friendly folks, great prices, and beautiful original art deco style. (But with new comfy seats!) The Rialto has been a charming staple of Aitkin for decades! Growing up in town, we'd go see whatever movie was showing there, because it was the thing to do. I think my entire school showed up for a matinee showing of Shrek one summer day. I hope the Rialto sticks around forever, because it's truly a gem of town. If you go to the Rialto, you won't just see a movie, you'll experience a relic of a bygone era.

The Rialto theater is an amazing piece of history and true remnant slice of small town Americana that can luckily still be experienced in downtown Aitkin. You can tell the theater was restored and is operated as a labor of love. I tip my cap to the owner for providing a wonderful piece of culture from yesteryear to the present. Downtown Aitkin wouldn't be the same without it. I can't tell you how many countless memories my family and I have from enjoying an evening drive into Aitkin to see a movie showing. I remember seeing 'Forrest Gump' there and too many other cinematic works of art to mention.

Thank you Rialto theater! I'm grateful for the great memories I have due you, and look forward to all the future ones I've yet to make. God Bless!

I love the nostalgia of the place and my kids and I really enjoyed watching the new Mario Brothers Movie.

Really good place! The owner is a nice guy. My only complaint is that the butter they use for the popcorn makes me nausous, but that's a me problem

Cute theater with lost of seating and friendly staff too! Old time retro theaters never disappoint and this is the best I've seen in all of Minnesota!

Good place to see a movie concession prices are what you would expect but actually not too bad
