The employees were prompt and extremely nice. I had locked my cc and forgot, and since it wouldn't work on the app after the first try, he quickly went and rerung my items and swiped my card for me. And totally okay with me not going in with him. Gotta say that although the app is terrible for online ordering and the devices they have could be improved. The customer service for online order pickup at this Meijer is phenomenal and always has been but just keeps getting better.

Great store to shop there's always a lot of buy one get one free. The only bad part here is that the pharmacy is horrible

Clean, almost always have what I've come to the store for (always end up walking out buying more than I anticipated lol). The people that work the "regular" cashiers (not the self-service attendants) are AMAZING, they're super fast, very friendly and truly seems to enjoy their jobs. I've never had a bad experience there.

My recent visit to Meijer left me with mixed feelings. Meijer, as a large grocery and retail chain, has its strengths and weaknesses.

Let's start with the positives - Meijer offers a wide range of products at reasonable prices. The store layout is convenient, and I didn't have to wait in long lines, which is always a plus. The staff members I encountered were generally friendly and helpful, making my shopping experience more pleasant.

However, there were some downsides. During my visit, I noticed a significant number of yellow jackets hovering around the entrance, which was quite bothersome. Additionally, while Meijer carries a variety of products, I found their selection of certain items to be somewhat basic.

In terms of food quality, some of the produce I purchased here didn't meet my expectations. It's worth noting that this might vary by location and time of year.

Overall, Meijer is a convenient option for everyday shopping, especially if you're on a budget. However, if you're seeking top-notch quality or specialty items, you might want to explore other stores.

Cashier on the self-serve was awesome! He greeted every customer and even made me laugh while checking my ID. He made the long line wait worth it because he had such a positive disposition.

😅👍I love mejier and I love shopping here. They got what I need. And pulse I love my discounts. Also when I deposit my cans it's always clean. So this is one my favorite spot.

I did a quick run in to purchase ice. So I was in and out in no time. It was early morning so it was not crowded. I did not need to interact with anyone because I did self checkout. The store was clean and parking was plenty.

This is a large, newer Meijers. Lots of space. Same wonderful variety from fresh fruits and vegetables to TVs and socks. They have a Huntington Bank inside for convenience. I’ve had great service here too.

Much cleaner than the Taylor Meijer. The bottle return area is clean and the machines work. I gave up on the Taylor location for that.

$7 for $7 sale. I stocked up on some soup and rice and frozen veggies. Got to catch the sales 🤪

Southgate Meijer is the only supermarket we've used for 22 years. They carry many international products, at less cost than smaller Delicatessens.

Best Meijer around. Unlike the Kroger across the street they actually have cashiers AND baggers. Great store.

I had a great experience with an employee named Jean K. What a wonderful lady. I was looking for an item and brought it up while she was standing by me. She offered to go out of her way and look in the back. That never happens anymore. She came back and they were out of that particular item. She continued to talk to me for 15 minutes about daily life stresses. She was so nice! The way she took time out of her day to have alittle chat made my day. Jean, if you see this.. thank you.

It's Meijer. What can you say? They have stupid weird rules about returns/exchanges and if the customer service desk is closed it's even worse. One time they gave me like $15 extra worth of strawberries. The plain ones they had in were awful (this was on a delivery order) and when I came back in to exchange them they wouldn't exchange them for frozen strawberries which were way cheaper. But they even exchanged them (amount wise) for the organic fresh strawberries. I forget exactly why. Customer service was closed. I mean, I'm not complaining about getting "better" strawberries. I've had other problems like that when customer service isn't open. I just thought it was dumb business wise. Like what is the big deal of trading less frozen strawberries for the same price verses the same amount of fresh organic strawberries which were twice as much? Again I'm grateful. I just don't understand the logic there. I would have been happy either way. Just an example of their general weirdness. The strawberries worked out great by the way. I made a cake. The strawberry reduction was fantastic. So everything worked out well. I can't exactly fault them for it. So you get 5 stars. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bright, see how clean and easy to find what you looking for. Enough light to read the labels to compare dietary ingredients labels. Everyone from store employees to late night shoppers were all in friendly, talkative moods. Pleasant shopping.

Ordered a birthday cake for my daughter. The printed letters were hard to read so when I asked the cake specialist to add icing letters over the top, she improvised and made it look perfect. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but she came through by showing great customer service and truly wanting to make the best cake possible. Great experience.
