There was a place I use to go and get the best sweet and sour sauce you ever tasted.
That place went out of business.
Since that I had never found another sweet and sour sauce like their's until now.
This place has the best sweet and sour sauce.
I prefer the sweet and sour chicken myself.
Tasty food and always friendly service.

Omg, the food was so delicious. And staff was very friendly. This place remind me of a local Chinese restaurant in my home town.

Best food . Go there prices are up everywhere. If you need to save cash order takeout . It's cheaper. Dinning in and on a budget. Spot a meal .one meal will fill two up for my family anyways

We had a family dinner for 25 at China Star Palace the week between Christmas and New Year's Eve. The staff here was so helpful in organizing, making suggestions for the menu (we had a buffet due to the size of our group) and working with us to make adjustments as needed for the group. There was plenty of food and the per person rate was extremely reasonable. The service during the event was also wonderful. We were in the larger private event room in the back, which had lots of space for our group. I will come here again if we organize another large group dinner! Thank you!

Their food is exceptional! The waitress so attentive. The customer service was outstanding!

This restaurant has THE BEST food
Chinese food in westland! All selections are fresh, hot, and made with real ingredients. They are open during the pandemic for carryout only. The noodles are fresh, not dry and brittle. The chicken taste like chicken and very delicious. The staff are friendly and have quick service. Would highly recommend this place.

The food here is top shelf indeed. The portions are legendary, the price is great. Hands down the best Chinese food around 😋 🙌

I go here pretty often and I always get the sweet and sour combo. Everyone here is always so nice and the food is always a quick fix for comfort food! I love coming here!

Beef Lo Mein and Chicken Fried Rice

I live in Brighton now and we don't have a good Chinese restaurant out here..so I will drive to Westland when I'm craving Chinese!

Phenomenal food, and great service. They have been in business over 30 years. Best Chinese Restaurant by far. We travel 30 minutes to get there. The owners are amazing as well.

Red Curry chicken- asked for it spicy. Lunch portion. It's better with white rice however, always delicious either way. I've been going CSP for my entire life.

It was great to be back at China Star Palace! Owned by the same family, same great food! (That delicious homemade plum sauce!) Head and shoulders above any other Chinese restaurant I've been to over the years.

I ordered 6 egg rolls (4 separate, 2 with combination plates) only received 4. They were still very delicious. Only reccomendation is to try different seasonings on the rice, it tasted very strange, i can only describe as flash fried or a flame taste sort of like butane or oil?? (Only thing I can think to relate it to, I am NOT accusing you) Everything else was BEYOND delicious and I WILL be returning. Thank you.

Edit: ordered again and this time my rice was DELICIOUS. And i got everything with my order. I'm certain they must've just cleaned their woks the first time. My new main Chinese place.

I had to get Almond Chicken while making a quick stop in my hometown! I miss this place, its always good! So much better than what I have now! 😔

Looking for OG Cantonese? Here's your spot! Carry-out only with walk-up right now... but who are you kidding. You're going to eat inside?? No, no your not. ...You're going home to feast on tasty deliciousness and sit on your couch. This is consistently worth the 10 minute wait. Heck, I'd wait 20! Also... it IS a very good dine-in restaurant. They have a really nice banquet facility too. They are currently hiring, I noticed a sign last visit!

THE BEST AND MY MOST FAVORITE CHINESE RESTAURANT FOR THE PAST 20 YEARS, STILL NO. OTHER PLACE HAS YET TO TOP CHINA STAR PALACE, IN MY OPINION. THEY HAVE THE BEST EGG ROLLS, VERY BIG PORTION SIZES. ONE FINGER YOS ENOUGH FOR TWO ADULTS TO SHARE.
