Lytle Pharmacy

Lytles is one of the cutest stores in Rochester. Yes, it is a pharmacy - but it is so much more. The front half of the store has cute little gifts and knick knacks. In the back of the store they have a kids section. I have gone in there many time to pick up little items for baby showers or the holidays. They have puzzles, stuffed animals, children books, and more. They also work with people in the local community. For example, I am a children's author and they were willing to stock my book in their store. They are so supportive of their neighbors. If you have never been, I highly recommend checking out this little shop in downtown Rochester.

Lytle’s Pharmacy, in Downtown Rochester is the Best Pharmacy in Oakland Co. The Pharmacist takes a personal interest in clients. They are quick to fill scripts, so there is hardly ever waiting “in line” as so many (CVS) others do. It is very convenient to park along side the building, go in thru side door and also they will curbside deliver. They always have the medications I need when other pharmacies do not. They have a very wonderful & unique gift shop, great cards, seasonal items, items on sale. It’s a pharmacy/gift shop where one could find a gift for any special person on their list. Great children’s area of great & educational gifts. Also, old fashioned penny candy is available. I love to shop there while my scripts are being filled or just to shop.

This place is an iconic drug store that you should go on if you’ve never been to Rochester, or even if you have! I spend way too much time on there when I go to get my prescriptions, looking at one-of-a-kind things, plus, cute cards and books! My granddaughter especially likes the Penny (?) candy section!

Not sure about their actual drug pharmacy but as a gift shop this place is great. It’s full of all kinds of vintage and novelty gifts for kids such as board games, plenty of stickers, markers, and jewelry.

I only use family owned pharmacies. I have been through 3 in the past 13 years. I have several medications and health problems so a small family owned pharmacy is what works the best for me. I love this place! It was a struggle during quarantine, but they got hit pretty hard. Now, it's back to the great place it was before plus they offer curbside pickup. I recommend this place not just because of the service, but they also almost always have the prescription I am looking for.

I like the fact that it's a local business. Everyone is super friendly, knowledgeable and a willing to discuss my medication issues and questions if there are any.

I love this quaint little pharmacy. They have so many different little gadgets and pretty gifts. I am working on my Rochester coaster collection that they sell from a woman who prints on ceramic tiles. Great service!

Lytle's is always well-defined with even the more uncommon types of Rx medications, or if not, one can be ordered and itI'll be in the next day. Prices are frequently better than the big chains, and the service is awesome - much like you've stepped back in time by many decades. I've been going to Lytle's pretty much exclusively for over 25 years, and they'll have to drag me kicking & screaming before I'd go anyplace else.

Called pharmacist about a new medication they were great w helping me. On my way there now.

Awesome people that are always willing to go above and beyond. Using them is worth forgoing the luxury of a drive-thru.
