Amato's Sandwich Shops

I stopped at Amato's with an appetite after spending the day at a training workshop for work. The store was clean and the staff were very friendly. I decided to get a personal plain cheese pizza.

The pizza featured a thin, crispy crust and a delicious sauce. The cheese was perfectly toasted to light brown perfection and had a pleasant, buttery taste. The personal pie was just what I needed before making the trip home. I would happily stop at Amato's again.

I stop in weekly and always want my food a certain way. The Staff is great and always make sure it’s prepared the way I like it.The quality is always consistent and excellent. Thank you for such great service and of course the food!

The food was exquisite!! Baked ziti with meatballs, little meat stuffers, chicken finger subs,
The staff had smiles on their faces an was very pleasant to speak with. On member his name is d,J he made sure our order was done right in a timely manner. Start to finish it took maybe 10 mins. He greeted us an made sure to say enjoy your day. The restaurant was nice and clean their is no eat in. Covid friendly meaning they wear masks and gloves so they kindly ask that we do as well. I will post pictures of the food and label the dishes. I also will upload the menu thanks for really caring about your customer's. They did not know I was doing a review.

This is the first Amato's I've been to. Now, when working in the area, it is my go to place for dinner. The pizzas come out crazy fast and are well made.

My only complaint is the pepperoni (substitute favorite meat) pineapple could use about 50% more pineapple.

I absolutely love this pizza its meat lover with mushrooms added. Now let me tell you. The staff I amazing. The pizza is bomb. Being from down south I've never had a better pizza. This was my go to place to eat while in Maine. And I miss it already. Pizza just isn't the same down here in the south.

With a bunch of local places to choose from amatoes still holds its own, my kids love the pizza.

I wanted a chef salad,and when I got there @7:15, there were no more left,so I asked if they had any more and the manager said she could make one for me,which I thought was very nice of her. My husband gets a double Italian and I get cheese pazzo bread and a chef's salad. Love the cheese pazzo bread.

Amato's is a convenient sandwich and more shop. They have a small eat in area that is clean, well kept and children friendly. And the food is great too.

When ever I go in to order my sandwiches for myself and my boyfriend I would always get served with a smile and very good employees that work at Amatos I just love to get my orders at Amatos alot such an awesome place

I picked up a large catering order for my place of employment today and everything was fantastic. We had all the required serving silverware, plates, napkins, and silverware to eat. We got stuffed shells and sausage with peppers and onions along with garlic bread and a salad. Everything was fresh and ready to go when we picked it up. Great work! Would recommend to anyone looking for catering options in the Biddeford area.

Wonderful experience. The girl who took my order the other day was amazing and is an absolute sweetheart truly the best another young man was a close second but they truly stood out.a couple individuals in particular kind of bummed out my experience with their negative attitudes. Also seeing vapes charging on the counters caused some concerns.

Amazing as always!!! Ordered the other day and my food was as fabulous as usual!!! Big shout out to the young lady that took my order, she had a very positive attitude and made my visit even better 👍

It had been a few years, because I had moved out of the area. So when I had gone for a visit, Amato's was my first choice to go to for lunch! As always, it was superb! Fresh crisp veggies, delectable deli meats, and bread/rolls that just so complete the sandwich! Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

30 years of great, quick food that taste like we did it at home. Always better than fast food.

I go to Amato's when I want a really good Italian sub 🇮🇹. I'm sure there other food is good but I've never tried is cause their Italian sub is that good. I love the bread, the large freshly cut tomatoes 🍅 (they literally cut it from the tomato onto your sub as they make it) and other high quality ingredients. The staff are friendly enough. That sandwich I got yesterday really hit the spot after 3 hours of divorce mediation. ✔

I've been eating Amato's food since I was a child. This company sets the bar for an "Italian". Also known a ham and cheese. Pizza is phenomenal, dough made fresh daily in store. Ingredients are always fresh and the beer prices are damn good too. This location is very fast and efficient, the food looks and tastes how it should.

Just placed an order and spoke with Kess. Her customer service skills are worth mentioning and acknowledging . She was patient, answered my questions and , didn’t hesitate to be helpful. You can tell she enjoys her job and takes great pride in it. I’m not used to ordering from amatos and she was extremely helpful and patient. You don’t get that kind of customer service a lot and it’s nice to see. Great job Kess ! And thank you

We are from out of town the service and food were great. We each ordered something different. I have a steak bomb. Dad had pizza.it was a small and he ate the whole thing by himself. My son had the bbq chicken sub. My daughter got the chicken alfrado. They were all great. The place was small and seemed to have some type of convenience store in the first part where you walk in and place your order. The seating is in the back. The people at the counter were friendly and helpful.

Trying this place was a blessing and a curse. Blessing because it was delicious and curse because i was only on vacation. So who knows when I’ll have Amatos again. Everyone one was so friendly and gave us some great recommendations on what to get. 5/5!!
