Ludy's Kickapoo Creek Saloon

I got the homemade tenderloin sandwich and it was pretty good, huge portion for price. Shared fries and Texas toothpicks with my group and everyone loved them. Fries were thick and cooked right. My friend enjoyed her burger, it was a homemade patty and my boyfriend couldn't finish his chicken strips they were so big and he said they were really good and tender. Calling in a to go order was easy and they ran the order out to our car as soon as we pulled in. Great service.

I love Ludy’s burgers! My mom and I tried Ludy’s and it was my first time coming here. I love the setup of the restaurant. It had a very nice atmosphere and the outer seating area was also nice. It’s good to come early because they aren’t too busy right around 10. The only downside is that Ludy’s is all the way in Kickapoo, so if you come from far away it’s a bit of a drive. Other than that I have no complaints! I love how it was decorated inside and it sits in a good location. There’s a lot of antique shops nearby if you like shopping. They only accept credit card or debit cards, but they do have an atm. It’s also super reasonable for the amount of food you get. The burger was the best I’ve ever had! If you go with another person only get one order of fries and share because they give you so many.

I grew up going to this little place! Food is amazing from the Burgers (Famous for them) to the large tenderloins or heaping baskets of fries! Small town feel with seasonal outdoor seating offered with a good drink selection! A must try!

OMG, What a Great Burger. I had the Horseradish Chive cheese and it had a little zip. Everyone's meals were excellent. I tried a bite of the Tenderloin and it reminded me of the homemade ones I make. Not greasy or over breaded.

Service was great and the fountain drinks were kept filled. The Beer was cold too!

We love Ludy's burgers. They're thick and always cooked through without being burned or tough. Generous amount of French fries were enough for three adults. Good service, too!

Friendly atmosphere and great food for the price. I had a pork chop sandwich and breaded cauliflower. My husband ordered Ludy hamburger and mozzarella cheese sticks. Very happy. Many antique stores nearby. Nice Sunday afternoon.

Good pub food. Great burgers and home-made tenderloins. Large fries are HUGE! More than enough for two people. Quick cheery service and very reasonable prices!

Always a great time. Best burger in town with fries and a number of wonderfully fried snacks, cold beer and great service. If you are not looking for vegan specialties this is the place for you.

Ludy's hamburgers are great. I don't know why their flattop grill is so much better than anyone else's but they really are, french fries are awesome too.

Killer burgers that taste like homemade. Plus the freshest toppings around. The price is a steal compared to what you pay in Peoria!

We sat at the bar and the barender, John was extremely busy. He was friendly and handled the pressure of his job very well. The burgers were excellent! We will be back! R&N Iverson
