Very delicious! I had the quesadilla combo and they were great. The carnitas with cheese was my favorite. The chorizo con papás could have been better but not horrible. The masa for the tortillas was fluffy and perfect to taste. Portion was huge I barely made a dent in the plate definitely shareable

One of my favorite local spots. Always get their pastor quesadilla and I’m never disappointed. The horchata has a hint of a chocolate taste that definitely sets it apart from other horchatas.

definitely not the most consistent but when it's good it's great. pro tip, if the beans and rice aren't great, the rest of your meal will follow suite: check this before you leave and you'll be fine

Amazing food, left Iowa to come home for a bit and this hit the spot, I got the quesadillas de huitlacoche with carne asada, with a cucumber lime drink 11/10!!

The food is absolutely delicious, this place is so good. I used to come as a kid with my parents and I visited again recently and can say the food is still amazing. No matter what you order. The food will be great.

Consistently eat here multiple times a week. Great value, delicious food, and a nice clean spot to eat. I highly recommend the quesadillas and tortas, but you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Very fresh food.

I love their handmade quesadillas and torta Cubana. They have very tasty Elote too. Big selection of authentic Mexican food and traditional American food. Very clean spot- they have hand sanitizer and provide sanitizing wet naps for to go orders.

Always a good place to eat have a variety of choices from tacos to sea food to american menu the waitress where nice and courteous. When is bussy you have to wait some time to have you food but is work the wait, the food is tasty and the price is accessible.

Great spot for authentic Mexican food. Nice family owned restaurant that has been in Waukegan for 15-20 years and there's a good reason. I appreciate the family vibe it gives off compared to other restaurants with alcohol. Hands down the best quesadillas in Waukegan along with their horchata! Overall, a wide variety of food choices (including American) at an affordable price.

This place is a hidden gem. Their guacamole is probably the best in town. Their tortas are amazing. Always fresh veggies. Their milanesa is so good.
