Love they chicken nuggets and great costumer service

The staff here are very friendly and have always did a great job whenever we place an order. We almost always order 100 wings and have them for parties or get togethers. They always get the seasoning right and the chicken is always very good in our experience.

Good people, great food. Never had a problem and will continue to go here for food. Definitely a spot on the list for when the kids are hungry...

I've been getting delivery from here for a while and finally came in person. The guy behind the counter was super nice and, as always, the food was incredible! I don't know what the seasoning is they put on the fish, but it's delicious. Just a little sweet and adds great flavor!

Fish Craving Satisfied!!

Hands down best fried Tilapia I’ve had in ages! The Lemon Pepper just does something to it, turns it into a masterpiece! I recommend pairing with some Coleslaw, and nab a couple Tartar Sauces. No need for ketchup for the fries, the succulent flavors of the fish and coleslaw alone make a fantastic combo! 5/5 keep doing it guys and gals! We will be back in the near future! Delicious!!!!

Let me start off by saying there was a misunderstanding on the date for catering. But they made it happen! When I tell you they had my order don’t before the party started they did their thing! They always get my food right and dont judge me when I say I dont want no sauce. I will always drive to this JJ's because they snap with every tender. Props to you JJ's! props to you.(dont mind the ripped tendder i could not help myself!)

Food was amazing. Save money and order pick up or in person. delivery can double the price. ( Note most options for delivery are independent of JJ Fish & Chicken) they may close early so give your self time to get there well before closing time.

Jjs is amazing- I love this location - they have modern look with a few sit in spots to eat at. Everything is always fresh and yummy. The owner donated to my annual brunch with Santa that takes place here in lake county. It was absolutely a hit the kids loved there waffles amd chicken. Great place love it here.

Best food in Waukegan catfish great

The food wasn't as hot as i would have liked, but that was because of the distance I had to travel. But I can deal with that the next time, and there definitely will be a next time.

The chicken dinner at JJ Fish & Chicken in Waukegan was FIRE 🔥. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, perfectly seasoned with the lemon pepper spice to bring out the natural flavors of the meat. Their coleslaw was killer. Looking forward to trying the gyro that the owner said he's about to add to the menu. The food is great, ingredients are top shelf, and all for a great value. Safe to say that I'll definitely be back at JJ's Fish & Chicken in Waukegan for more delicious meals in the future.

JJ fish & chicken has really good food. I always find myself going in and getting two orders of okra or my favorite is the chicken liver dinner not everybody has the same taste but he also has the chicken dinner the catfish dinner it's all good if you're hungry and don't feel like cooking JJ fish and Chicken is a good place to go and it won't make a hole in your wallet for me to location is convenient not too far away the owner is very kind and pleasant the place is very clean and it's one of my favorite places to go to when especially either my mom or I don't feel like cooking so if you feel like eating out and don't want to go to a fancy restaurant but you can also take it home and set the TV trays up and have a good meal with a good movie I would suggest JJ fish and Chicken is the place to make your tummy say yummy yummy

This restaurant is ALWAYS 5-Stars! The food is amazing and always prepared to quality standards. I also deliver their food frequently and they are very friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

So this J+J is under new management. First time to go since I stopped coming here almost 6 months ago. New staff and great attitude towards the customers. Place looks cleaner and not cluttered. Called in for a 6 wing dinner and was surprised that the wings were alot bigger than the last owner had served. I will be back here again. Change is great!!

I was a previous employee here for about three months. My job was prepping food in the back. They care about the food that they’re serving you and they take pride in the store cleanliness! I highly recommend this location! Nothing sits out and everything is cooked fresh to order!
