Great place for mexican food, I love the quesabirrias with consome, I have tried tacos and they are pretty tasty too.

We were a little hesitant at first because of previous reviews. Also, we’ve lived in the area for about 1 year and have yet to find real good Mexican food. We gave this place a shot and we’re pleasantly surprised! The carne asada tacos were good, my Al pastor gorditas were good, horchata good, nachos good, so we had noooo complaints! This will be our go to from now on 😄

Perfect lunch for those who want to have options and not overstuffed themselves.

This review is based on a delivery order through GrubHub so I cannot attest to the in person service or atmosphere. My sister and I both ordered the combo #1 which includes a gordita and a sope. We tried the meats: asada, tinga, and pastor. The order arrived warm, with good presentation, and everything was delicious. The rice was a little under salted but that may be perfect for someone else. Before we placed the order I did call in to ask a couple questions and the gentleman than answered was professional and clear. I will definitely be ordering sopes and gorditas from here in the future!

Recently moved to the area and have been trying to find good Mexican food. This place has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants! We haven't had the chance to eat at the restaurant yet so all of the food has been delivered. Even with the delivery, the food is very tasty. We have yet to have a bad dish. From the asada, pastor and lengua tacos to the gorditas, sopes and fajitas. Everything has been flavorful. I can only imagine how delicious it is fresh and at the restaurant.

the food is so good, the servers are so nice! They treat their customers like family and they have a lot games for if you want to play. Also the food comes out in a reasonable amount of time. I would definitely come back a 2nd time! (Which I have.) 😊

Just moved from Hawaii. Needless to say, Hawaii does not have authentic or even good Mexican food!! I think if you have fresh tortillas it makes the biggest difference. This is the best Mexican food I’ve had since moving here. Come here for great service and great food.

I love their food let's start of with that, but eveytime I ordered there's something wrong with it. I just ordered a pozole with chicken and extra corn instead I got pork and less corn, might you I paid the extra corn which should of been placed separately.

Had a great lunch here with a friend. We picked the restaurant completely at random, and we made a great choice. The service was fast and friendly. I had tacos al pastor Mexican style with refried beans and a big glass of horchata. My friend ordered a combo. We both agreed lunch was terrific. We will definitely come back.

Always a fan of eating tacos and although this won't be my regular taco place to go to, I'll be going back for more. They have some of my favorite tacos, tacos de birria. Not a lot of taco places offer that on a daily, which is a huge plus. Location is super easy to find with ample amounts of parking spaces. It's not too far off from the harbor which makes for a perfect location to eat these tacos during this pandemic. Can't wait to try more of this food in the near future.

Great Service and great food. Best in Waukegan for a relaxed family style restaurant. Tacos are great and the variety is awesome. I get the tongue, chorizo and fried guts tacos. Salsa is spicy and tasty. The half roasted chicken dinner is to die for. Perfect if you're hungry... I'm hungry just thinking about those tacos!!!!!

BEST BIRRIA TACOS EVER! I’m addicted. My husband put me on to Birria tacos and I never ate a regular taco again.

Delicious food. I love the Al pastor tacos & cabeza tacos. Sometimes they have performances and the artist are the best. Atmosphere, food, and people are excellent!
