In a nutshell: Very nice hotel that’s going through a remodel. The rooms are nicely appointed and spacious. The restaurant is decently priced and the food was very good. Service was great overall and the hotel is in a nice, quiet location. If I just had to have one con it would be the room toilets are abnormally loud and obnoxious when flushing. So much so that you’ll hear both the rooms next to you and the rooms across the hall flushing their toilets.

A very good place to have an early breakfast. Fadia is a server who tends to your every need. She makes you feel welcome with her smile and personality. Look forward to seeing her in a future visit.

We’re loyal Marriott customers and appreciate (expect) the consistent quality that Marriott hotels provide. The Chicago Marriott NW is not an exception, even during their extensive renovation.
We stayed in a newly renovated room. It was spacious with plenty of storage room. A few details left undone were noticeable but when brought to the GM’s attention, quickly fixed.
However, the shining stars of this Marriott are the staff, Housekeeping, Front Desk, Food Service; all exceeded expectations. Especially Fadia in Breakfast Service. She is warm, welcoming and goes above and beyond to care for her guests. Each day, Fadia ensured that we were comfortable, well-fed, and cared for us like we were in her own home. We will definitely return to this Marriott on future visits to the Chicago area.

I usually never write reviews but I had to due to this one server who did an amazing job. I’m not sure but I believe her name was Fadya (I’m sorry if I misspelled it). Not only was Fadya attentive but she was also kind. I didn’t need to look for her she always came by the table asking if I needed anything. I just wanted to say thank you for being so kind. I was having a terrible day but her kindness made my day.

This place is great. Food was great here and area was clean. The service was amazing because of one of the workers, Fadia. She was so amazing, nice ,and fast.

A really nice Courtyard located by several restaurants and shopping stores. I had a corner room, which is always nice. Lernell at the front counter was super nice and made sure my stay was wonderful. Will definitely stay here again.

They are remodeling each floor. Mine was done, and they did a great job. Plan on staying with them again.

5 star experience. Friendly staff, clean and very comfortable room. The pool is clean and kept at a comfortable temperature. The on-site restaurant had a friendly and prompt staff and a very high quality breakfast. It was actually the best bacon I ever had. Perfectly cooked. This hotel is a great value and a luxury feel.

We booked the Marriott in Hoffman estates for our wedding block. We worked with Cathleen who is hands down the best person to work with! From start to finish, Cathleen was so transparent and helpful! Cathleen even gave me her personal number and allowed me to text her at any hour with questions I had. She and her staff passed out our welcome bags, along with pamphlets she made stating the times for shuttles to and from the venue! The shuttles were amazing! We had two 45 person shuttle buses that were on time and has all my guests to our venue for our ceremony. Cathleen offered our guests a discounted breakfast rate, which was so great to see so many people in the lobby the next morning! She also had the Marriott bar stay open until 2am so our guests could come back to the hotel for an after party! Hands down the best hotel for a wedding block!! I cannot say enough good things about Cathleen and her staff! Thank you again!

I have spent over one hundred days here over the last year. Cherry typically checks me in at the front desk in the evening or Amy in the mornings. Georgina always has a smile for me when I have breakfast. Jane and Juan take care of dinner and drinks at the bar. The staff is friendly and want everyone to enjoy their stay.

It is my favorite hotel in the area.

Such a great experience! Small High-school gathering of 4 friends and the hotel went out of their to way to make our time great! The night manager was so nice and the staff was just wonderful and welcoming. The shuttle was so convenient! Thanks north west Marriott!!

Very professional desk team and room service. I arrived one day earlier than planned and called ahead to ask if they could accommodate me, and they did during a period when the hotel was very busy and overbooked. I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Very nice upscale place and friendly staff and great atmosphere

Kitchen needs to assure the breakfast buffet items are hot. Cold eggs and potatoes aren't appealing.

For a 3 star hotel I received 5 star service. The general manager Amit was on the premises as well as the owner making sure each and every guest was taken care of! From checking in to checking out— I was very impressed with the level of service the staff provides. Don’t forget to stop by River City restaurant and meet Jean or the Executive Chef Dennis. Food was GREAT! Thank you to everyone who made my stay as comfortable as ever!

Our room was clean and comfortable and everything was in working order. The staff was very professional and pleasant and I will definitely stay here again.

We had my daughter's wedding reception here and I cannot say enough good things. They were so easy to work with and did a beautiful job. The food was just as good at the reception as it was at the tasting. And their coordinator, Sherry, well she was awesome. I would highly recommend them. Everything was beautiful.

Great place to stay. Rooms large clean and up to date. Reasonable rates. Catered food was excellent.
