Le Méridien St. Louis Downtown

Gorgeous and super clean rooms! The staff was very friendly. The breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was delicious! Nice, thick French toast with eggs. Ryan also gave us other great restaurant recommendations when we asked: "Salt and Smoke" with outstanding spare ribs, brisket and side items and "Mama's" Italian restaurant

First of all let me say this is a very clean and nice hotel. I didn't have a room there so I really can't tell you much about it. We had reservations at the Prime 55 restaurant located inside the hotel on the first floor. We did go upstairs and look at the different furniture they have there and it was very nicely furnished. The people who work there were very friendly and helpful.

Haven't stayed at this place but as for now, this hotel is served by MetroBus route 5X. Be sure to take a ride on this route!

I stayed here June 2014 for two nights and it was great.
I arrived on a Friday evening and they had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne at check in.
We took the shuttle service and while we had to minimally wait, we were offered champagne.
We had breakfast one of the mornings in the restaurant and it was very delicious, especially for a buffet.
The hotel was very clean, the room was comfy, the shuttle service is awesome and the staff were wonderful.

I will be returning to this hotel again this June for three nights and can't wait.
I, obviously, would stay here again and would recommend this hotel.

After the reviews I had read, I will admit I was concerned. However, this hotel is quite the charmer with it's beautiful woodwork, entry way, and grand staircase. The staff was exceptional. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are comfortable. They have recently undergone a change in management so there are some things that are due to be updated, but that is to be expected when things like that occur. The location is perfect for anything downtown. If you are looking for brand new with all things "perfect," then this hotel is not for you. However, if you like a little antique charm with good hospitality, then I recommend giving The Majestic a try. Personally, I love the fact that it is an older hotel steeped in history. The one thing that I would love to see is for the restaurant and bar to open back up. It is such a beautiful space and would make the charm of this hotel even better. That being said, I do not consider this a negative as I knew going in it wouldn't be open due to new management. Keep up the good work! I would stay again!

Really great location. The staff (Ryan the manager and the front desk staff) were very accommodating when we needed a late checkout despite being sold out. Will stay again!

We stayed there for 3 nights last week while attending the FIRST Robotics World Championship. The staff was great. Even when most people would be stressed out due to a lot of people checking in at once, they were always calm, kind, and caring. The hot breakfast was outstanding. The room was very clean. It's an older hotel yet it has up to date digital thermostat, proximity door locks, updated bathroom fixtures, etc. I felt safe and comfortable there. It has a unique charm that's recognized as soon as you see their check in desk.

Convenient Valet, great restaurant, nice coffee bar, staff was friendly and so helpful. Terrance was a great host! The bed was so comfortable.

This hotel is undergoing some changes. As long as you are a down to earth person you will enjoy this hotel. The staff is very very friendly. One of the staff members took the time to show us what they were doing to give this hotel a makeover. They even showed us a room that was already done with the look that the hotel will be in a few weeks. They are completely booked this weekend. We asked for extra blankets and get them in a couple minutes. We will definitely come back here.

If you ask the staff about the construction they will totally explain everything to you!

Room was clean, location was good, and the staff was very nice and helpful. From this location we were able to walk to the Arch, baseball field, City Museum, the aquarium, Schlafly brewing, and a few other places. Destiny at the front desk gave us a list of recommended restaurants to try and every one of her recommendations that we tried we loved.

Beautiful hotel in downtown St. Louis with great proximity to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Phenomenal service! We had called ahead to ask what the check in wait was and were informed, when we said that we were about 20 minutes away, that it wouldn't be bad. Not bad?!? When we arrived, our paperwork was prearranged and waiting for us at the desk along with a complimentary newspaper; we were checked in within 5 minutes from when we walked in the door! We'll be booking this hotel again on the forward-thinking, impeccable service.

I will be staying here again! Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable.
There were more than enough toiletries but they also included cotton balls, q-tips and makeup wipes!

We were looking for an affordable hotel in downtown St. Louis and found this place. When splitting the cost of the room with my significant other the cost was very affordable. The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The included breakfast was plenty enough. Our room was quite pretty with a large bed and plenty of room for us. Parking was convenient because it was a city-wide free parking weekend but they have their own lot (which costed extra.) Would recommend to anyone.

This hotel was reasonably priced for the area. The room was nice, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent. Centrally located, 0.5 miles to the Arch one way and 0.5 miles to City Museum the other way. Small grocery store 1.5 blocks and many restaurants nearby. Honestly, it was a great hotel and I will go back!

The only issue is that you're pretty much forced to valet your car for the duration of your stay. The only alternatives are some public lots that require you to pay every 12 hours.

Otherwise the room is great, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel is beautiful. I'd happily come back.

I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful brand-new hotel located in downtown St. Louis. I came here for a Cardinals game and this hotel was conveniently located just several blocks away. It’s also located next to two really good restaurants that I would love to recommend sugar fire barbecue and sauce on the side calzones. If you are ever in the St. Louis area check this place out.

Rooms were spacious and extremely clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The manager and valet were very friendly and helpful.

I love this hotel is my new favorite place to get away I love that it's modern it's contemporary it's got great service of people there are wonderful and they're from Services impeccable definitely definitely loved my stay the only reason why I gave four stars on the location is because if you blink you'll miss it in downtown it means you're going around the block

Alicia at the front desk was so helpful. We showed up at midnight after a problem with another hotel that did not meet our needs. She was so friendly and accommodating that we were genuinely glad that our original plans fell through. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect. 10/10. Would visit again.

Canceled reservations for a presidential suite for the groom and bride on their wedding day. They had booked the room in July and were notified, when calling for early check in, that the room had been overbooked. The GM refused to talk to the bride until she called several times, then claimed that the reservation must have gotten canceled because the hotel underwent a change in management since they had made their reservation
