This place was recommended to me by a family member. I am so happy that it was! I got a root touch up and a trim and loved it and plan on going there next time as well. She absolutely knows what she is doing and is very friendly and thoughtful of what you want to have done and actually does it!!! I highly recommend this beauty salon!

My mother use to take me to this hiar salon when I was younger. The women who ran it a while back were so nice, and never bat an eye at a walk in. They treated my mother with respect and made my sister and I feel comfortable. Well, I decided to stop in one day recently for a simple hair trim, right? They had the usual sign that said "Walk ins Welcome"... So, naturally I walked in and introduced myself. I noticed that they didn't have the same owners or stylist I guess, but that didn't bother me because they looked like a couple of sweet elderly women who were having a good ole chat while cutting some hair. They looked to be sweet. One asks "Can I help you with something?" ... I replied, " yes, ma'am, I was wondering if y'all had time for a small trim today?" ... Me Being polite and her not so on the other hand. " I don't understand you!" So, I asked her nicely and politely thinking she just didn't hear me or something so I repeated exactly what I said before, and her response... "I still can't understand you. We don't have time for this right now." So I went on my happy way to the beach house salon in Boaz . They made me feel so bad that I was in tears while in the beach house salons chair. Normally, I leave well enough alone to not leave a review BUT!!!! My mother...being a long time customer there before the new owners. She went up there for a walk in trim too...well.... She got the same reaction...if not worse. They were rude and DO NOT OBVIOUSLY WELCOME WALK INS. I'm not sure if it was because I didn't look a certain way, or they just didn't want to deal with me or my mother. My mother and I aren't the only ones with this type of story from this place and the new owners.
