Amsler Park

Sweet little park offers picnic areas, a pond with ducks and turtles, a disc golf area, play structures, and a swimming pool! I even hear that a splash pad is coming!! But it was a great place for a homeschool break --- lunch and painting time!! Nice and close, yet far enough off the highway to be peaceful!

The park is clean with lots of shade and nice paths. My dog and I enjoy it especially for the easy creek access. And the pond has a couple different avian species claiming it as their own.

Visited the disc golf course and loved the layout and care that clearly goes into this course. Great signage, tee boxes, places to sit and all in a beautiful area next to a stream and kids park. Definitely worth the visit.

It' seams like the Housing Development At The Park Is taking up the room that could be better development for the ParkAs far as More Activities for the youth and for the Families to be able to have more of a new Way to explore and have family fund

Cool park, clean, ducks, fishing, disc golf. It was nice and peaceful plus the city has done upgrades.

My girls love the play equipment at the park. I enjoy the walking trail and all the shade.

Great place for a picnic and kids to play. There is a neighborhood library box if you want to read under a tree. The pond is going dry due to the drought; however, it is normally stocked with fish. The pool is open and reasonably priced. Walking trails and Frisbee golf course are available too.

Very clean park. It's small. Has a bridge over a small creek. Small playground area. Looks like they're building on a splash pad and there's a public pool too. Great place to waste away a summer day with kids.

Liked new little gazebo they have. Nice shade. Kids enjoy the park.

This is an excellent park with a fantastic disc golf course. It's really a fantastic place to get out of the house and take a walk, fly a kite, or take part in any traditional outdoor activities. Kudos to McGregor for this place!

Nice little park, not alot of people there, has a walking trail, a fishing pond, playground equipment and a baseball field. Nice place to just sit and let the kids run and play

The new water park is awesome. Wish they had more shaded seating and a restroom or port-a-potty.

This place has really improved over the last few years. They have a nice play set, a nice creek rolling through, and a cool frisbee golf course. The pond had some clearly ditched domesticated duck breeds that they'll probably have to deal with population control at some point, but they are pretty entertaining to watch.

Best park I've ever been too honestly!!!

Beautiful quiet park. Places for kids to play, a basketball court, disc golf course, baseball field, track for walking / running, lots of open space as well & community pool right next door. There's even a pond with resident ducks i believe you can fish in with proper licenses.

They have a disc golf course which is a plus. The best part is that half of the walking trail is shaded and you're able to go during the day even with the Texas heat. It's a little less than a mile if you stick to the shaded area. But there is another little track you walk on, if you don't mind the sun. It's cute, quiet park that doesn't seem to get too crowded.

Best Park in Central Texas. They have a great disc golf course that is challenging but enjoyable. My daughter and I play there regularly. There is also a playground, public pool and pond for fishing and feeding ducks. The park is never crowded and had clean public toilets. Thank you City of McGregor for giving us a park for the whole family!

Great park! Lots of amenities for such a small city park.

Love this place! Kids love the playground and pond with ducks. The park has been expanded to include hiking trails and Frisbee golf.
