I usually don't write reviews but MTC Radio is one of the best place to buy amateur radios and accessories from. Great customer service and wonderful people there especially Christine and Richard. I had issues with my Icom 9511S that came without trunking and they partially refunded me the radio. Great customer service and I would buy continue to do business with you guys again. I also recommend others to buy ham radio from you guys when they asked me. I said "Go to MTC Radio, you will find great deals there!!."

What a fantastic company to do business with! The level of communication and customer service I received from MTCRadio was top notch. I bought some used equipment off their website and expected good things because they are so highly reviewed. But they completely exceeded my high expectations. I hope to do business with them again in the future.

MTC is remarkably like that old local-owned shop on the corner, but it’s truly that little local shop for the whole country! I’ve dealt with all the big-name Ham shops on the internet—ALL of them—but the folks at MTC are the very best—no two ways about it! In all the years I’ve been doing business with them, they have bent over backwards to help me, they’re really generous on trade-ins, need a part and they don’t have it, they’ll hounddog the planet till they find it. My favorite shop in 100 miles, have known the owner for nearly 13 years, love to buy old electronics and scopes. Lots of parts and new things. Great selection of tools and cables.

I have dealt with Richard several times over the years, and he always goes above and beyond to make the customer satisfied. In March, he held the first sidewalk sale, and I was able to trade in a radio towards one that I've been wanting for quite some time. Nothing beats this kind of customer-service, and you'll be treated like family at MTC.

Great prices on New and used equipment.

The store was smaller than I expected but they had just about everything I needed. And I got a great deal on a new radio that beat all other prices I've seen. Customer service was great and friendly as well as knowledgeable on the products. I'll definitely be stopping by again and ordering online again as well. It's nice to deal with people that understand the questions you're asking and know what you're talking about. They definitely seem to know the products they sell!

I'm a very new ham just 90 days in and my first radios were a couple HT's and a TYT9800 for base/mobile work. After looking at several upgrade options I settled on the Yaesu FT-991A.

I learned of MTCRADIO from Fred on the NCTC network and took a look into their Paris, TX operation. They came through better then imagined. Everything from extremely fast and safe shipping to kind follow up from Christine.

I've been playing with my new toy and enjoying all the new modes from WiresX to SSB and beyond. Loaded up HRD and tied in the USB and now have full operational control of the radio from my desktop. This radio is so clear on audio and easy to operate. I love the waterfall and ease of moving about the channels and various modes.

Haven't tied an HF antenna to it yet and just running on my Comet GP-6 but looking forward to coming back to Main Trading Company for my next Hamventure.

Although I have never been to the store, I have made a couple of online purchases from MTC. EXCELLENT customer service, useful emails, and incredible prices. I will shop with them again for certain online and if I am ever in Paris, Texas.
