Motel 6 Sulphur Springs, TX

Gotta get rid of the Flies at first but after that good room for the price .. truck parking.. highway noise not bad...

Newly renovated and maintained property with a friendly helpful staff.
A lot of road noise from the interstate . Didn’t bother me as I live near one but others may find it distracting.

Very friendly service the girl who works nights is always smiling and helpful 😊

Was down there for a dog show. They have very pet friendly flooring, in fact my room was updated, clean and quiet. Comfortable bed as well. Friendly staff. If I get down that way again, I will definitely stay there again. Great value for the money!!

The owners and staff here are super friendly & family oriented, prompt service. Reasonably priced, clean and updated rooms, close to all your shopping needs. Also, pet friendly! They have a washer and dryer available for your personal use as well. I would absolutely recommend this Motel 6 for short or long stay. Very helpful staff.

I stayed here yesterday to get away for a night. The room I stayed in was nice and clean. It was quiet and I felt safe to stay there. I would rent a room again in the near future. If the Motel stays this way, then they just made a loyal customer. The manager/ owner was very nice to me😀 respectful and answered any questions I had with care.

The room was clean, comfortable, and simple. One of the better Motel 6s on my route. They are working to improve the landscaping and exterior. My dog and cat were both happy and we will stay here on our next trip.

A basic sleeping room on my way to Dallas for my son's college graduation. Hotel owner was very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean and stocked. I ripped the place apart and could not find 1 issue, no bugs, no stains, nothing. Traffic noise is a little loud there but it's right beside the highway so what do you expect? Check in was fast, rooms were clean and functional, nice hot shower and checkout was just as fast. Easy off and on the highway.

Always courteous service and clean rooms. The rooms are very basic but no complaints considering the price is always very modest. Washing Machine and Dryer are available aside from that no other amenities. Pet friendly too!!

So much better than what I would expect from a Motel 6! This was my first time staying at a motel since we normally stay at Best Westerns, but we needed something cheap and last minute on our 33 hour long drive. Based on the reviews about the new renovations we gave it a shot! It's clean, the showers was hot, the new hardwood floors are nice and the rooms have a cool 60's theme (not in a shallow carpet way, but a clean/modern look, see photos).

I would highly recommend this motel for anyone looking for a clean, affordable place to crash for the night.

Only downside:
It's right off the highway so there is a lot of traffic noise, but I have a noise machine app on my phone that tuned the noise right out.

Clean room/mini fridge.SUPER nice staff/ very good rates. They allowed me to check out late, since I arrived at 4:a.m. A FEW fixtures needed re-attaching better, (due to previous gorillas, I'lll bet.) BUT everything worked. NO overly antiseptic detergent smells. No insecticide smells. Just clean. Bed nice and firm, but not hard. A/C could be set to temp you want. Shower and sink clean.

Our stay at the Motel 6 in Sulphur Springs was great! Don't let the outside fool you! It looks exactly like the pictures they show. Smelled so fresh and clean.
The manager , Chan was so friendly and so very helpful. He even brought a fridge and microwave to our room! It was a nice stay and very affordable!

Friendly staff and very accomadating to my siblings and I. We got a total of 3 rooms next to each other! Stayed for 2 nights and no complaints. Room was very well kept for a decent price. Would book there again.

When my first room had clearly been smoked in, they moved me the room next door so I didn't have to haul my things a long distance. When my new room didn't have a microwave, they let me use the one in the lobby and were so sweet to my toddler while we waited for the food. Really nice experience!

It was late at night and my wife and I were on our way to Dallas, Tx. We decided to pull over and get a spot to lay down. We saw the motel off the highway and pulled in. The manager was very polite and respectful. We got a non-smoking room, however when I went into the room the previous occupants clearly smoked, and smoked a lot ( hard to control what people do behind closed doors). When I informed the manger, he promptly and quickly switched our room and we were satisfied from there. The motel was just remodeled. It had hardwood floors, which was great for sanitary reasons, there was a flat screen t.v. mounted on the wall. The table and desk was connected to the wall. It overall had a 1960's feel to it. I highly recommend this place as a place to stay. My wife and I recently stayed at another motel 6 because of this great experience. It was also remodeled, however the attendant informed me that not all motel 6's were remodeled because it is a franchise and run by individual owners.

I've stayed at quite a number of Motel 6's on my travels around Texas, and this was the best one. Clean, comfortable, nice bed covers, good morning coffee. I liked it, and said so to one of the staff in the morning.

Good people had no problems unlike the other one next-door they wouldn’t allow me with my pets small little dogs motel six excellent yes they were awesome

I was skeptical about staying at a motel, as it was my first time. However, I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay, and I even returned to this motel later the next week. The manager, Chen, was very kind and had remembered me and even offered to put me in the same room as before, adding a personal touch to the experience. The only inconvenience I experienced was the lack of cellphone reception (Metro PCS) during my stay, which was offset by the fast free wifi. I would stay here again if I ever needed to!
