Started with sweet tea which was on point if you know you know. Had fried pickle spears and fried boudin balls they did not disappoint, they were great. It being cold today I went ahead got a bowl of chili after the waitress said it was award winning at several chili cookoffs as well was great spiciness was just right has chunks tomato but not big. My girlfriend has chicken fried steak garlic mash potatoes and green beans with a roll and honey butter. She as well said everything was delicious. Definitely wouldn't mind going back here.

100/10 RECOMMEND- My Fiancé and I decided to try this place out today we are so burnt out on fast food and wanting a good meal to fill us up. Well folks this is the best I’ve had since moving to Atascosa ! My mouth is still watering from the food and my tummy is still full. The staff are very welcoming and Friendly! I fell in love with the cheese from the Mac/Pasta ! The flavor was out of this world ! Chicken Fried Chicken was so delicious with the gravy and my fiancé loved the grilled pork chops !overall the food was fresh and worth the wait!!! We will be back (:

Food was exceptional and the waitress OMG she was heaven sent awesome!!!! This is definitely a place my son and I will become regulars at now. I got the chicken fried steak which was so tender and flavorful. Great atmosphere as well.

We were doing a paranormal investigation in Lytle, Tx , after we were done we were looking for a great place to eat and came across Railhead Cafe, saw it had many great reviews, so we had to come try and we were not disappointed everything was great, from appetizers, from the salad to burgers. And the amount of food is good for the price. The portions are a little big, but over all 5 stars from me...

I was in town so I looked up reviews for restaurants and stumbled upon this gem! The food was very delicious. We had burgers that actually filled my son's appetite! The onion ring were the best I've had in a long time!! Will definitely be back!

Wonderful comfort food. Green beans were freshly cooked and savory. The fried okra was breaded with corn bread. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried pork were piping hot and delicious. The onion ring were just right crispy breading and tender. Place was super busy but were served promptly. This is an undiscovered gem off of Hwy 35.

We had lunch here. She had the chicken fried chicken and he had the blackened chicken breast. The main meals were very delicious! We loved the garlic mashed potatoes, too... just the right hint I garlic for us. We topped the meal off with some coconut cream pie, and it was so delicious! Friendly staff, good prices... we would definitely come back.

Me and family are new to the lytle area and glad to say we found a family favorite its kinda pricey .Not to much but the food is so worth it. you know how every restaurant has like one thing that they’re good at making and the other thing might not be so good. This place has not disappointed yet and almost everything that we’ve tried on the menu has been amazing. Appetizers and all only one thing i can say is sometimes its hot in there other then that its bomb

I find that a first impression of eating at a place is important. The staff is very friendly, and the food!!!! Wow. Tasty, delish, and definitely going back. This restaurant puts the flavor back in the food. I highly recommend giving this place a try! 2 thumbs up!

We were just passing through Lytle and a friend had recommended Railhead and I’m so glad he did. Brittany and the staff were all pleasant and personable. The food was wonderful. My mother had the fried pork chop, my father the chopped steak, and I the chicken fried steak. For appetizers we wholeheartedly recommend the fried mushrooms. The food was amazing and we will definitely make the journey back to Lytle just to eat here!

Great food, I'm from SE Louisiana so I'm picky with seafood. The fried fish and fried shrimp was great. So was the Red bean's and rice. Kenneth our server never left us needing anything.

Definitely looking forward to returning. Looked for a new place to eat and found this amazing restaurant. This was the first time I visited so don't know if all the food will taste as great but I do hope so. I had the Chicken Fried Chicken special which came with mashed potatoes and corn. Everything was delicious.

Great hole in the wall! Came to Lytle, TX to install my mother’s headstone and we initially decided on breakfast tacos but couldn’t fin the other restaurant! Well, Super-Glad we found this Place as Awesome Customer Service; good variety of hot and cold foods; and Very Tasty and Freshly made home cooking! Have the rolls with cinnamon butter and ask for the cabbage as a side! Super Delicious! Give this place a try; very clean and welcoming! As my Wife so eloquently said it, “a Great Small-town Feel”!

Try the fried mushrooms they're delicious. First time having the ribeye and it was spot on.

Went for dessert. It was delicious. Brownie was super moist. Will definitely be going back

Love this place! Best catfish I have had since moving to San Antonio and the staff is great. The sweet tea and peach cobbler is perfect… I couldn’t say enough great things about this place.
