I came here due to a recommendation, to get my brakes and AC fixed, Carman's service was exceptional, and he saved me so much money with his suggestions and expertise. Carmen did a good job repairing my bumper! Only took him a day to do it and the price was very fair. I’m definitely pleased!

I don't know how I've not previously written a review for Carmon as I have been a thankful recipient of expertise for probably 10 years when he had his shop at the 75 and royal area.
He is beyond budget considerate with his pricing and just overall extremely honest and fair. He continuously goes above and beyond to help.
I was recently on a road trip with my not yet 2 year old daughter and husband when we experienced some mechanical issues. I reached out to Carmon and he explained what was happening and helped my family get home safely. Furthermore, he then educated us on how to prevent it in the future.
His knowledge is wide-ranging but more than that he is happy to educate his clients which is invaluable.
Lastly, he is so kind he always puts us at ease (my husband and I have talked about we want to have dinner with him and his wife - we like him so much!) which is such a blessing if you're stressed about a car issue or budget.

Just moved to the area and needed something installed on my car. After calling around, I either received unreasonably high estimates (for a quick install) or iffy responses on whether they can even do the install. Carmon answered the service line every time and provided a reasonable quote. I was able to drop my car off the following business day, and only had to wait about an hour before picking up my car with the installation complete.

Carmon is honest, reliable, and clearly takes pride in his work. He doesn't charge an arm and a leg for services or make you wait days to schedule a task. Xpress Automotive will be my go-to place for anything my car needs going forward. Highly recommend Carmon and his team!

Super great place! Sure it looks kinda small, but don't let that fool ya. They get the job done, and quick! The job for me in this instance being an oil change. The gentleman who serviced my vehicle was very good at his job, he busted out an oil change in just under 5 minutes for me, and the cost wasn't much at all! Polite and courteous, didn't even have to leave the car. If you are looking for efficient, economical, and educated (as in, the mechanic here clearly knows his stuff and does it damn well), then the choice is clear: Choose Xpress Automotive!

I moved to Dallas about 2 years ago and it was really hard for me to find a trustworthy mechanic .

I can tell Carmon and his mechanics really know what they are doing and I can totally trust him with my vehicle.

Being a woman and not knowing much about car issues I really needed someone that I can trust and I glad I found this shop !!!

I have had my AC, lights, motor mounts and other non warranty auto repairs worked on here. I also have had motor oil and transmission oil changes done here as well as ALL my state inspections. I have always been happy with their work and attitude.

I have been going to Carmon for about a year. I trust him with my vehicle. Being a woman, I need someone who is trustworthy and gives me the information straight up, no gimmicks. And Carmon is the one!! He is honest, the work is great, and I totally trust him with my vehicles. I have also referred my niece to him to get work done. I just tell her, go to Carmon.

***Update, when I did my first review, it was 6 years ago. Here it is Aug 2023, I have a small issue with my window. There are other mechanics, about 4, that are literally around the corner, I just don't trust. I have driven 30 miles for Carmon to fix my car. Now if that's not saying something.......

We have trusted Carmon for almost a decade now and we won’t take our cars anywhere else. He really goes above and beyond. At every visit we are pleased with the work and surprised at how inexpensive it is.

Best mechanic I’ve ever been to. Carmon is so honest and helpful when describing car issues. I have taken my cars in to him 7ish times, and two of the times he told me the quick resolutions and didn’t even charge anything. His prices are great and gets stuff done in a day. Give him a shot!

Carmon is by far, the best mechanic I have ever dealt with. He is courteous and straight to the point. He is extremely fair with what he charges for his services. And most of all, he explains to you exactly what is going on with your vehicle in a way that those of us who are not mechanics can understand. There is no doubt that this business will prosper. I hope I never have to take my car to another mechanic, ever.

This is the only place I will EVER take my car. Carmon is an amazing owner and really cares about his customers. His employee's are just as great. I got into an accident, and you can't even tell now and my Mustang runs better than it did before. I will recommend Xpress Automotive to anyone and everyone.

It was first by chance that I used Xpress Automotive, and Carmen. After that first experience, they have a customer for life! Carmen is the best! He is a great mechanic- knowledgeable, attentive, fast, thorough, and also friendly and funny! That's what I want in a mechanic. And on top of all that- he's extremely reasonable! I cannot find better prices anywhere, and I have a long-time mechanic I've used for years right by my house!

P.S. Carmen invested in a super duper diagnostic code reading tool, (a very expensive one), that blows away what those other guys will tell you is wrong with your car. When your check engine light comes on, come here and at least let Carmen tell you what is wrong with your vehicle!

We love the guys at Xpress. Carmon is just awesome! They offer phenomenal service, unbeatable prices, and a fairly quick turnaround time. When we relocated here from New York, we struggled finding a trust worthy mechanic and since discovering Xpress, we know that they are 100% reliable and honest. Carmon has really helped us out when we found ourself in a pinch and has a true compassion for what he does and his customers. Thank you for everything!!

I'm back again! This time for something different. The owner of this shop, Carmon, rocks. I've been coming here for a while now, and he immediately ran a diagnostic, told me what the issue was, and gave an immediate quote with estimated time. I am always pleased when I bring my vehicle here. The shop is still not done with my car, but he said in about 30 more minutes they should be complete. Again, this guy is the best. I've taken my car to other places and didn't care for their customer service, their attempt to overcharge, and rediculous prices. Here at Xpress Automotive the owner doesn't take advantage of anyone. If I didn't love his work I wouldn't continue to bring my car here. Again, he treats his customers like friends & family. If you live in this part of Dallas, I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here. I almost forgot to mention that he works with you with getting the problem resolved. If there is something that you can't quite afford, he will do what he can to fix what you NEED and tell you to not forget to come back in however length of time to get the remaining job complete. As someone who drives 9 months a year, I have worked with a multitude of mechanics. Carmon at Xpress Automotive has been one my best mechanic experiences. Needed my van looked at for some check lights that were on my dash. Although there were cars before mine he was able to diagnose my issues quickly. I felt very comfortable and he was extremely detailed in his analysis of the vehicle. His prices are fair and cares about costumer service. Will come back anytime I am in Dallas and my vehicle needs work

Carmon is a class act. I went in originally to have my clutch actuator checked out, but he was extremely honest and said that he wasn't able to fix or diagnose the problem. He didn't spend hours trying to diagnose something that he knew he couldn't exactly diagnose just so he could charge me labor. He told me exactly what to do, where the best dealership was to get it checked out, and got my oil changed in the fastest time I've ever had. Great business, great business man, and an all-around great experience.
